CNN, E.D. Hill, and the Upskirt Award

I held off on posting this article on yesterday as it was Mother's Day. A special day for all  'Mothers' and all women worldwide.

Happy belated Mothers; Day!!!!

While briefly watching CNN one day last week, I   noticed a familiar face.  The face recognition was followed by a case of pure dismay as it became obvious that CNN hired the "Terrorist Fist Bumping" E.D. Hill.

OK, so the world is suffering from a shortage of competent journalist, I must assume.

As I researched the 'horror' just a bit, I found that Hill will be teamed with the famous 'Alpha' Male, Elliot Spitzer.  What a Team!!!!  So with that in mind I embarked on a somewhat whimsical look at the infamous E.D. Hill's tenure at Fox News.  Of course, any review of Fox news reveals more than some can take.

As one who reports on what he sees, I have to state that some of my Fox News observations were as guttural as their daily evening shows.  So, Seth Meyers Correspondent's dinner joke about Fox New's female on-air personalities profile became strikingly clear.

Take a look.

CNN is continuing to amaze.  After growing sick of the Network for their far too long employment of Lou Dobbs and Christine Amanpour, I eventually tuned-in the network when I am literally forced to so.   Fox (DAY TIME New programs) far exceeds any capability that CNN deploys in its news gathering operation.  A fact that does not say very much for CNN.

Alas, I notice that CNN has surpassed any level of rational hiring practices with the hiring of E.D. Hill.   Hill is noted for her demise at Fox News after the now famous 'terrorist fist jab' remark leveled at then presidential candidate Barack Obama and his wife Michele.

WIKI Exert....

On the Friday June 6, 2008 episode of America's Pulse, Hill asked whether a fist bump between then-presidential candidate Barack Obama, and his wife Michelle, after the final 2008 Presidential Democratic primaries was a "terrorist fist jab." Hill, introducing an upcoming discussion before a commercial break, posited that the gesture was either "A fist bump? A pound? [or] A terrorist fist jab?," but never explained the term when the segment continued after the break.[4] The incident set off a controversy among bloggers and TV commentators.[5][6][7][8] Hill apologized for her comments the next day.[9] The next week, Fox News announced that Hill's show America's Pulse had been canceled. Martha McCallum's show The Live Desk would become two hours (1-3 p.m.), and Trace Gallagher would become a co-host with Martha.[10]

In November 2008, after the general election, it was announced that Hill's contract with Fox would not be renewed. She would continue with the network until her contract expired. Senior Vice President of Programming at Fox Bill Shine says that he "chose not to renew E.D.'s latest contract" but noted that "Hill has been a valued contributor to the success of FNC over the years, and we wish her all the best".[11]

The FOX News anchor knew better.  I think she was posturing to  her producers, feeding her audience Fox New type BS, and doing the bidding of the RIGHT by leaving an anti-Obama land mine for all to see.  While the effort failed in this case, we can all see how leaving land mines proved very effective as a component of RIGHT-WING propaganda.

I can only hope that CNN manages this on-air personality in a far more a professional manner than did Fox News.

E.D. Hill "Terrorist Fist Jabbing' with BUSH I !!!!

Hill stated shortly after the on-air attempt to label the fist bump as terrorist behavior, she commented that she had observed information on the Internet. Mind you and absolute credible basis for inclusion into a FOX news newscast.

"ON THE INTERNET"!!!!! .   I suggest the Internet comment led to Hill's removal from the FOX News programming far more expeditiously than actually making the 'stupid' comment.

I do not often venture into my deep-rooted belief that FOX News hires many of its on-air personalities with a focus on eye-candy vs journalistic acumen.  I will say their women on-air personalities are awfully 'model-like' in appearance.  Model-like is no problem as the reporters cannot help their attractiveness and the majority of cable networks also deploy the same strategy. Fox News producers appear to go a step or two further in audience entertainment.

Stay tune for a few exhibit of my point. A point that really will not surprise anyone reading this article.

I will watch (A bit ) to see how CNN positions their cameras.

A brief digression.....

Fox News' E.D. Hill teased discussion of Obama dap: "A fist bump? A pound? A terrorist fist jab?"

Teasing a segment on the "gesture everyone seems to interpret differently," Fox News' E.D. Hill said: "A fist bump? A pound? A terrorist fist jab?

Cenk Uygur on the matter (A little bit of Cenk on the fist jab issue) [3 minutes]

OK, so back to CNN.

'UPSKIRT shots' as a viewer strategy.

I am not a woman but it seems to me that the some of these women place their hands on their legs (and skirts) in almost excessively.

This on-air personality actually raised her skirt about as slyly as one could pull it off.

How about this one CNN? (blonde !!!)

Now, this one...do you think the fat guy to her left ...comped a Wood_ ......, well got aroused. He certainly checked out that action.
