A Sunday Morning Journey Through Mitt Romney

....predominantly from conservatives.
John McCain......
Asked why he chose not to go with Romney, McCain said: "Oh come on, because we thought that Sarah Palin was the better candidate. Why did we not take [Tim] Pawlenty, why did we not take any of the other 10 other people. Why didn’t I? Because we had a better candidate, the same way with all the others. ... Come on, why? That’s a stupid question."

But Romney's vast wealth was seen as a political liability that McCain could ill afford, he said.

America must carefully go about an assessment of why Mitt Romney is in any way a good candidate for the Oval Office. He has proven time and gain that he is incompetent in picking advisers, incompetent at making campaign decisions, incompetent at managing how he communicates, and completely inept at hiding the real Mitt Romney.

The man has worked as a successful "vulture capitalist' all of this working life. Do we not see and understand that we are what we are? Vulture capitalist (Gingrich's words) are not people who have requisite compassion for others to lead at the Executive Branch level. Romney has also shown signs he will become the 'digits' Grover Norquist proudly posited. Digits for signing bills handed to him via NEO Con ideologues. People who can speak no different about the nation's economic development beyond rehashing "trickle-down" economics. Or, "supply-side" economics for the learned.

Sarah Palin, "a better candidate"??
