The Daily GOP Ignominious: Romney ignores US Troops and National Defense

Our Proud Warriors!!!!!

They sacrifice while Romney visits the American Legion!!!
No real Republican nor his campaign staff would make such a SNAFU. Romney lives yet another lie.

Mitt Romney is a Republican.  He is by proclamation a severe republican.  As you know   him or not know him, he is a lying republican

He lies about his hardcore republican foundation despite leaving a trail of social and political views left of the average Blue Dog Democrat. And, his lies again manifest when least expected.

The GOP Convention for 2012 was far different a 'shindig' than any GOP Convention I can remember.  The differences included obvious efforts to makes GOP "Shock and Awe' on women, to present a phony face regarding diversity, and to make Mitt look human.  I assert each task was formidable and virtually impossible to start and I also assert the RNC failed to reach much beyond its base and hard leaning Right independents.

Romney's big show was drowned out by distractions. The shindig was so packed with self-serving speakers like Christe and Rubio, Obstructionist politicians like McConnell and Boehner, and false prophets like Rice Martinez and the mayor of a large city in the State of Utah. McConnell and Boehner need no verbiage here as rational Americans really do know how they succeeded in stopping any efforts to improve the economy. Christe and Rubio were obviously given the go ahead to campaign for top of the ticket in 2016; Christe did not mention Mitt Romney until the 14 minute mark of his speech.  Rubio's speech I read was a good speech, but appeared to focus GOP ideology and recouping the night form the Eastwood debacle instead of praising Mitt Romney as the new leader of the GOP.  I have written so much about Eastwood, I will not indulge more in this screed.

As we move away from the GOP Convention, I have to ask myself and others, what in the heck were they thinking, in failing to even mention war and our troops?  Romney's campaign staff again illustrated how best not to manage the campaign of a candidate.  Eastwood was allowed to go on stage unscripted (one of the team even authorize use of the insulting chair).  Romney was given a speech that even he was smart enough to add text related to wars started by the GOP.  He did not even acknowledge those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for GOP jingoism. He did not even utter one remark about our courageous men and women thousands of miles away fighting for a mission that should have been ended by President Obama. He did not even show appreciation for poll data showing moderately more support than for his opponent President Obama.

The "NEW" lie cometh. No real GOP 'severe conservative' would make such the mistake of not recognizing our troopsSo, the lie continues.

Mitt Romney was forced by his own existence and life to use his speech as a way to convince the public he was ready for the challenges of the presidency.  He was forced to do so after many speech minutes and a video which bombarded with self-serving 'evidence' that he has a heart. Why does it take old home video of a fun family at a national political convention to convince the public the man has a heart. Why? Because his is peddling a false persona. As a CEO of a venture capitalist corporation, one does not have the luxury nor inclination to show 'heart'.

How can one who aspires to serve as Commander-in-Chief miss an opportunity to address the troops via visible and timely signs of support?  One does so via the failings of his campaign team, a true lack of interest in the troops, and a self-serving need to sell one's self.

As with many failings of the Romney Campaign team, they quickly grabbed camera and microphone to smooth over the extreme screw-ups.  The following is an example of the 'smooth over job".  I ask that you pay special attention to just what this adviser thinks will smooth over a major political blunder related to our fighting men and women.  I ask you to note where this man said Romney visited the day before he left for Tampa. The video is only 23 seconds in length.

I do believe the adviser said Romney had visited with the American Legion.
Romney and his speech writers carefully crafted verbiage for GO hawks (Iran and Russia), but fail to  acknowledge those who fight their wars.
THE AMERICAN LEGION!!!!
THE AMERICAN LEGION!!!!
.....And The Band Plays On.....
