CEO TO EMPLOYEES: ‘HELP YOURSELF’ BY DONATING TO ROMNEY(Image MSNBC.com) |
MSNBCs Chris Hayes has reported yet another 1% (er) has applied strongly suggestive (strong-arm) tactics to influence the November Election. Mitt Romney has both in conference calls and public encouraged 1% (ers) to take voter pressure to their employee groups.
To all ASG domestic employees,
This coming Monday, Mitt Romney will be officially nominated as the Republican Presidential candidate. I am encouraging everyone to go to the Romney for President web site and contribute as much as you can to his campaign for President, up to the maximum of $2500.00 per person. I am also encouraging you to contact all of your friends and relatives and ask them to support Romney and to go to the polls and vote on election day.
ASG, like many companies, is still struggling, even after 4 years. You probably heard that we tripped a bank leverage covenant on June 30th, and now must go through yet another round of unfavorable treatment by our lenders. Many of our domestic employees are still on the 4 day work week. Many of our customers are waiting until they see the results of the election before beginning to invest again. We need to elect a fiscally conservative President and Vice-President and stop this ridiculous government spending. I believe that Romney and Ryan can put us back on the path to sanity, but even then it is not going to be painless for our country and ASG.
Please help ASG and yourself by contributing to the Romney/Ryan campaign.
Mr. Allen
The GOP has campaign contribution support from an unimaginable number of Top 1% of the nation. All of the nation's CEOs fall into the TOP 1% income strata via their ascension to the "rock star" level in their respective companies. Mitt Romney is a former member of that "flock", and still has Romney Empire income streams from the Outsourcing King of the nation: Bain Capital. It is no surprise the Romney Campaign would resort to 'slimming' around whispering in the ears of the "flock" to solicit suggestive pressure on the employees of the companies to either vote for Romney or contribute to the Romney Campaign. The tactic is not exactly new, but the GOP (my bet the RNC) has infused Romney with the need to go "exponential and call-on any supportive/sympathetic CEO.
As top campaign contributors, the list of TOP Five contributions to both campaigns carries a 'cold set of statistics'. Rachel Maddow Show.
Mr. Allen (as end ended his email) may not care for strong-arming his employees to vote for Romney/ Let's face it his employees work in the high technology software industry. They are probably not employees who can be "Sheparded" to vote one way or another, they are probably a more young than older employee workforce, and they are undoubtedly fiercely independent as is common to Millennials and Generation "Y" employees. We know at least one employee who shared the email with Chris Hayes of MSNBC.
Maddow's data indicates Romney is winning the Citizens United campaign sponsorship big money donors. It appears Obama is winning the small donor wars; I can attest to that fact as there is where I am a denizen small donors.
Here is a sample of the Romney 'cat call' to corporate America. The post includes an audio of a conference call in which Romney asks/suggest the management team have their employees support him. If you do not want to expose our brain to 28 minutes of Mitt Romney and the prospect of catching "Romnesia", skip to the 26:00 minute mark and finish the audio. Nothing illegal mind you, but I have no evidence the Left resorts to such underhanded tactics. Any CEO or management team who follows the Romney 'cat-call' is practicing, without doubt, actions akin to improper pressure on their employees. I am reminded of the Ohio coal miners who were forced to attend a Romney rally after the mine was closed for the day; and they were not even paid fr the time at the rally.
Is this what the poli/social Right has fizzled?
