Rep. James Lankford In The US Senate? (Seriously)

Re-Blog from a friend of

the TPI and guest writer.....

HE TALKS THE SAME BULLS**T THAT THE NAZI SAID IN 1940 ~ HERE THE REAL TRUTH ...

I offer a modest proposal:

Can we please... PLEASE... stop calling these people "conservative"?

There is nothing remotely "conservative" about them by any rational stretch of the definition of the word. I know, the right-wing is ever more determined to have us live in a Humpty-Dumpty world, linguistically and metaphorically speaking. But, I say, "this is where we ought to draw the line."

One literally can not be both extremist and "conservative"; the words have meaning that are polar opposite.

To be sure, they refer to themselves in many other ways with which I take exception. The epitome of which; they call themselves "patriots" when it seems clear to me they aren't anything of the sort. "Patriots" would never advocate for secession, nor so frequently and eagerly place their partisan interests before the good of the nation.

Misuse of the term "conservative" doesn't seem to be a matter of opinion so much as linguistic malpractice. It makes them sound as if they are more reasonable and rational than they have ever actually been, which is a disservice to political discourse and an undeserved favor to them.

"Conservatives"?

Hardly. They're extremist right-wing reactionaries. The word fascist may not "fashionable" or politically correct, but it is the correct term for those espousing such ideological bilge.

I believe we are on an irreversible trend toward more freedom and democracy, but that could change.

We have to be ever vigilant.

Rep. James Lankford is running for the U.S. Senate in Oklahoma. He believes sexual orientation is a "choice"; climate change is a "myth"; and "welfare moms" are to blame for gun violence.

The Senate Conservatives Fund believes he's not quite far enough to the right.
