Ron Johnson, US Senator R-WI, ACA Comments Not Supported By Attending Phsysician

If you want to see the perfect example of phoniness in US politics, you have to look no farther than Tea Party Senator from the Great State of Wisconsin: Ron Johnson. Before we look deeper into Johnson and GOP Senators who have stretched the truth beyond the breaking-point, we want to remind you of Johnson at his most "phony."

Huffington Post
In a 2012 interview with CNS News, Johnson said:
I would not have run for the U.S. Senate had Obamacare not been passed. … Our story has a happy ending because we had that freedom. … That’s what this health care law is all about, it’s an assault on our freedom. It’s going to lower the quality of our care. It’s going to lead to rationing. The types of medical innovation that saved my daughter’s life [and] that saves millions of Americans -- I won't say it’s going to come to a grinding halt, but it’s going to be severely limited.
Now, let's digress a bit to establish a few credibility points. Or, should we say lack of credibility points?

You may recall Johnson as a widely publicized member of Senatorial National Security committee and his role in hearings regarding Benghazi. Johnson's showboating and questions to Secretary of State John Kerry, gave the world and indication of the extent to which the GOP practices 'phony and hyperbolic' performances for political leverage. The following 2:40 minutes segment embodies the essence of the GOP and the core substance of tea party politicians.

Senator Johnson sat in the committee hearing in full blustering phoniness railing for future commitments to give him information; he failed to realize the very competent Kerry was about to deliver a Muhammad Ali like "Butt-Pucker" blow to his credibility. It is virtually impossible to get past Johnson's "phoniness" as you finished the video segment.

Johnson never fails to astound. It is as if he lacks abecedarian (levels of) logic and basic cognitive reasoning that could prevent exposure of his lack of credibility and overwhelming phoniness. The Senator seems to fail to realize when one makes statements in our technology laden age, there is always a record of which you speak. Johnson also apparently, underestimated the scope of his comments about "Obamacare" in relation to his daughters heath issues. His rhetoric may not be shared by a much more competent and learned professional: his daughters physician. If you do not speak honestly, your past will come forth in full detail.

Johnson's leading role in the GOP's attack on the Affordable Care Act and placed him in (let's say) shaky company. He recently joined Rand Paul in literally lying about ACA related issues regarding their children.

Children!

Does the GOP have any respect for the minds and souls of our young? Do you recall Paul Ryan invading a soup pantry during the run-up to the 2012 general election with kids and wife in tow? He wanted a photo and video-op, we have to guess, to give the nation the false sense the GOP candidates gave on damn about less fortunate people. After the episode, it took less than three hours for the director of the soup pantry to go public with a couple of facts. First, Paul and his camera party (including kids and wife) visited the pantry without prior notification (Paul did seek approval). Second, the pots and kitchen items the family fiend cleaning were already clean!

Johnson's very visible leadership and his penchant for "open-mouth (itis)" has again landed the Senator in the land of Pinocchio.

Early in January Jud Lunsbury wrote a piece based on his personal contact with the physician who provided services to the Johnson Family.

Ron Johnson has an extraordinarily compelling story about why he entered politics:   Nearly 30 years ago, his newborn daughter was saved by a talented surgeon named John Foker, who reconfigured her heart with a new procedure that he helped to develop…
