Airline Ticket Purchase Tax? Your GOP At Work!

...as evidenced by what follows; a tax on the middle class!
As I sit and plan a few vacation trips for next year, I am reminded of the sinister and underhanded way the GOP hands the middle-class financial burdens not proportionately shared by the nation's Top 10% income earners. The new tax on airline ticket purchases won't even hit the nations uber wealthy.

People who have income above the $100,000 will receive the same airline ticket purchase tax burden as that we received from the Bush Administration tax cuts. But, Bush reduced taxes to all Americans!

Of course, but the cut did not have the same impact on you and me as it did on the Koch brothers or your friends and relatives who earn over $250,000 per annum. The new airline ticket purchase tax has the same impact for the vast majority of Americans. Unless, you are not a person who purchases airline ticket et al. Maybe, the GOP performed "conservative math" that calculated to the more poor among us travel far less via airline ticket purchase.

It shouldn't be necessary to post the following image, but we have learned the American public's memory and shallowness of information breadth often needs a booster shot.

How we look from an income perspective.

Do you believe for one second Paul Ryan and his "handlers" didn't carefully consider the airline purchase tax as a win for the Right?  Better yet, did you even know the tax took affect this week?

Lawrence O'Donnell, MSNBC's The Last Word, broadcast a segment related to the tax that should be viewed by all voting aged American.

Yes, Paul Ryan did say no one compromised their principles. It looks as if we are prey for GOP predator principles
