McCain Declares Obama Suffers From Self-Pity! Seriously?

"Self Pity"

Do you recall this.....

What you see here is the perfect example of self-loathing and inadequacy via an attempt to humor and mock what is about to come. McCain couldn't even show candidate Obama the respect of professionalism and decency requisite as US Senator while walking to a debate he obviously felt would reveal personal inadequacy. While I am not a psychologist and or psychiatrist, it doesn't take much to find a link between the imaged (above) self-loathing and stages of "self-pity."

How about the self-pity inherent n Frank Lutz, Newt Gingrich and a representative group of House Republicans who met to plot obstruction to the Obama presidency as the POTUS the FLOTUS danced at various inauguration balls.

The Guardian

GOP Plot Obstruct Obama
During a lengthy discussion, the senior GOP members worked out a plan to repeatedly block Obama over the coming four years to try to ensure he would not be re-elected.
The disclosures – described as "appalling and sad" by Obama's chief strategist David Axelrod – undermine Republican claims that the president alone is to blame for the partisan deadlock in Washington.
A detailed account of who was present at the dinner on that January 20 night and the plan they worked out to bring down Obama is provided by Robert Draper in 'Do Not Ask What Good We Do: Inside the US House of Representatives', published this week.
In his book, Draper opens with the heady atmosphere in Washington on the days running up to the inauguration and the day itself, which attracted 1.8 million to the mall to witness Obama being sworn in as America's first black president.
Those numbers contributed to a growing sense of unease among Republicans as much the defeat in the White House race the previous November. The 15 Republicans were in a sombre mood as they gathered at the Caucus Room in Washington, an upscale restaurant where a New York strip steak costs $51.
Attending the dinner were House members Eric Cantor, Jeb Hensarling, Pete Hoekstra, Dan Lungren, Kevin McCarthy, Paul Ryan and Pete Sessions. From the Senate were Tom Coburn, Bob Corker, Jim DeMint, John Ensign and Jon Kyl. Others present were former House Speaker and future – and failed – presidential candidate Newt Gingrich and the Republican strategist Frank Luntz, who organised the dinner and sent out the invitations.

"Self pity"

One term presdient: McConnell; Bachmann; Cheney
( a man who should have been a one term Vice President).

John McCain zest for TV appearances is contributing to growing sentiment he has lost his luster and is filled with "self-pity" as one who lost in 2008. The erratic old legislator evokes the ghost of Ronald Reagan as a White House "party animal." He joins the mile-long list of conservative and GOP talking heads who reach to the ghost of Ronald Reagan when they desire an Adonis model of modern republicanism. They speak unabashedly without regard for Reagan's Trickle-Supply side economic policy, they evoke without regard for Reagan's impact on current racial divisiveness (via his southern campaign strategy), they moniker via Reagan without any consideration of his eight years in DC as the most corrupt years of any US President. One would think McCain would show a degree of reticence regarding the Reagan years as he became one of the "Keating Five" US Senators who escaped Senate procedural "sanction" by working with investigators on the failed Savings and Loan Industry Scandals. "Working with investigators" means personal culpability in some way.

McCain and his Fox News Host, Van Sustern, fulfilled the script of Fox managers and producers, but how can anyone listen to McCain's drivel without consideration of McCain's history of being wrong. A fact not missed via Jon Stewart and his response to another Fox News Host tickling the irascible one with The Daily Show depictions. While Stewart was reserved in his response, I am sure with hope of inducing a Daily Show visit with McCain, think in terms of: Vice presidential pick in 2008, un-satiated war hunger from Obama refusal to monger, and "I supported Bush's policies 99% of the time."

When show hosts program McCain for Obama bashing, they should recognize beyond their loyal show sycophants McCain's words fall on informed ears and stops at that point.

Why would a president who has been resoundingly disrespected, obstructed, and outright maligned from his birth-right through his race, want to "Invite party leaders" or bi-partisan members to the White House to dinner and drinks?

Sounds as if McCain continues to show signs of "Self Pity."
