Two Tragedies: Jared Miller Kills Two Cops; Ismaaiyl Brinsley kills Two Cops; Both Were Insane And The Right Yelps About Race!

New York Police, former Mayor Giuliani, Bill Kristol et al, are literally suffering heart palpitations accompanied by oral cavity frothing about the killing of two on-duty cops shot while sitting in a squad car. The killer was a deranged felon (19 convictions and two years in jail) who attempted suicide earlier in 2014. While claiming retribution for the killing of Eric Garner via a group of Brooklyn cops, we have to accept the killer was bent on suicide.

As we consider conservative angst about the tragic shootings another consideration needs exploration. How can such people have access to firearms (even illegal firearms)? A topic for another screed.
Listen to Kristol audio(apologize for linking to a conservative page, but it popped up as readily available)

Bill Kristol: 'Obama Has Set Race Relations In America Back'
"President Obama and Eric Holder have done damage to race relations. I mean, I really am personally distressed about this."

VIDEO: Giuliani Calls Obama Out on Cop Ambush: Propaganda Pushed People to Hate the Police

The country is outraged following the assassinations of two NYPD officers, especially once they found out that the murderer wrote that he was doing so in revenge for the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner. Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani rightly called out current mayor Bill DeBlasio and President Barack Obama for enflaming racial tensions and fostering an anti-cop culture in the country today.
"Rightly?" (excuse the double entendre)

How about a quick diversion regarding the ever-present and mouthy Guiliani?

American Renaissance (Blog) Notice the commonly accepted "privilege' use of the word "THUG." It would have been just as easy to refer to Brinsley as deranged ex convict. "Deranged ex convict" would not tap into conservative psyches that are easily ignited by the word "thug."

The Media Murder Two Police Officers
Jared Taylor, American Renaissance, December 21, 2014
Criminal reporting and rabid politicians fuel anti-white hysteria.
Yesterday afternoon, a 28-year-old black thug named Ismaaiyl Brinsley shot two police officers to death in the Bedford-Stuyvesant area of Brooklyn. In Internet postings earlier that day, he said he was going to kill policemen to avenge the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown: “They Take 1 Of Ours . . . Let’s Take 2 of Theirs.” The two officers probably never even saw Brinsely before he shot them from behind. He then ran into a subway station, where he shot himself when he saw cops coming. One local who walked up to the crime scene later said that “a lot of people were clapping and laughing,” saying “serves them right.”
Ismaaiyl Brinsley pulled the trigger, but those two officers were just as surely murdered by the media. From the start, the American and world press have treated two cases of unfortunate but by-the-book police work as if they were acts of vicious racism that discredit every American police department.

If you have not noticed, not one of the aforementioned (and others) commented about Jared Miller and wife's assassination of two Las Vegas cops.

Miller's deranged killing was accompanied by rants of "Revolution.' Brinsley's was accompanied by declarations of retribution for the killing of Eric Garner.  I personally find little to no difference in the cold-blooded murderers, once I move beyond the fact Miller and wife were white and Brinsley was black. Both assassins were nuts and all three assassins harbored malice towards law enforcement.

Now that we have moved through the common denominators, let's call it as for the reality of it all. The difference is "white privilege" and associated manifestation of repressive acts from whites (and conservative blacks) who live with the horror of a world changed by the election of Barack Obama as 44th President of the United States. A world so consumed with the paradigm shift of the non-traditional president one can only imagine living every minute of life (even in dream laden sleep) hating all things Obama.

"Obama did it!" has been their battle cry since Obama was inaugurated as president. The battle cry has been loud and consistent up to the point of administration successes; an ending point for all conservative dogma. Successes that benefit the nation while showing the fallacy and shallowness of the GOP. Yet, conservative demagogues exercise the privilege of their position and celebrity to level racially charged dogma like a collective Rush Limbaugh and with vile intent equal to the EIB racist.

They practice overt "white privilege" and they appear unabashed and as bold as ante-bellum southern elites.

Unabashed as a guttural as any white supremacist

What is White Privilege?

What is Privilege?
“White Privilege is the other side of racism. Unless we name it, we are in danger of wallowing in guilt or moral outrage with no idea of how to move beyond them. It is often easier to deplore racism and its effects than to take responsibility for the privileges some of us receive as a result of it… once we understand how white privilege operates, we can begin addressing it on an individual and institutional basis.” ~Paula Rothenberg
“Privilege exists when one group has something of value that is denied to others simply because of the groups they belong to, rather than because of anything they’ve done or failed to do. Access to privilege doesn’t determine one’s outcomes, but it is definitely an asset that makes it more likely that whatever talent, ability, and aspirations a person with privilege has will result in something positive for them.” ~Peggy McIntosh

Examples of Privilege

Being able to…
  • assume that most of the people you or your children study in history classes and textbooks will be of the same race, gender, or sexual orientation as you are
  • assume that your failures will not be attributed to your race, or your gender
  • assume that if you work hard and follow the rules, you will get what you deserve
  • success without other people being surprised; and without being held to a higher standard
  • go out in public without fear of being harassed or constantly worried about physical safety
  • not have to think about your race, or your gender, or your sexual orientation, or disabilities, on a daily basis...

The overt exhibits of racism brings forth another point. Think of law enforcement across the nation if John McCain or Mitt Romney won their respective elections. Imagine Arizona's Joe Appio in a McCain Administration and the level of attention to police abuse that is as obvious as your corner Walgreens and CVS stores.

A president speaks out out for fairness and equal treatment for the black community and many in conservative America lash out as if chastising a wild animal.

Alas, the shame of it all.
