The Right Seethes! Ben Carson: The Black Conservative Makes The SPLC "Extremist Files"

UPDATE BELOW.....

A man who harbors hatred of the LGBT community while standing as an example of hatred from many in his political party and conservative ideology.

Ben Carson is the archetypal far-right Republican. He is the ultimate right-wing demagogue who apparently has aspirations of winning the GOP nomination for the 2016 General Election of the nation's 45th President. As he carves a path towards a mythical GOP nomination in 2016 he has garnered a trophy rarely awarded to African-Americans.

I should follow the introduction with another critical item relating to Ben Carson: he is delusional.  He is a prominent GOP showcase demagogue who preaches the conservative gospel of anti-LGBT hatred and rhetoric and he serves from a position of no other prominent conservativeHe serves as "The Black" conservative with the brains of a Neuro-surgeon while ignoring each and every instance of overt conservative racism since he grabbed the attention of his party. He has yet to critically comment in admonition of repetitious and escalating racism from the Right. The good doctor might fit that paradigm of the bigot who hates universally, but cannot speak out against his possible contempt for the black community and its denizens. You might think, "......but he is black." I would retort: "really?"

He is truly delusional!. Carson will find that despite his usefulness to the GOP he will never find acceptance by a party that is 92% white and loving it. As was the case with Herman Cain, utility works up to a point. A point at which deep rooted "Southern Strategy" politics will grip the Carson reality and he will find himself shuffled to the rear of the "operating room." As the GOP nomination looms as a prize, he will find himself in close proximity figurative signage that will read, "The Black Guy need not apply." The party on the Right will never evolve to the point of a person of color as a presidential candidate.

There is another who aspires while facing the reality of GOPism. Bobby Jindal also lives the life of a delusional conservative.

Despite his obvious mistaken perception of "whiteness" neutral, Bobby Jindal will also find the path strewn with barriers.

Apparently, the painter of an unofficial Jindal portrait found an inner psyche that only he and the governor could comprehend.

Jindal's public response to the exhibition painting in a manner as revealing as the painting itself. "You mean I'm not white?" Of course, his response was in the realm of flip, but the painting offers loud and clear glimpse  of psyche of some who claim conservatism.

The image above has been deemed a constituent portrait and not the official portrait. Here is the alleged official portrait from a member of Jindal's staff.

Should the Jindal aide have responded, the images do not differ in a substantial way!

Are the paintings yet another GOP play on race for sake of acceptance? Do you recall this famous exhibition:

Romney "fakin it" at a Univision campaign appearance. Despite his Mormon Faith ( a minister?) and his high level of position in a party that exudes whiteness, skin color matters when it matters.

I digress under the irresistible influence of GOP race politics.

Carson is the perfect attraction for the fringe voter who might find a remote prospect of GOP diversity and inclusivity. Alas, Carson has other utility that will sink any prospect of winning any GOP primaries in 2016. He will never win a primary in any GOP Bible Belt southern state for obvious reason; he also will never win in remnant GOP states (Idaho, Montana, Kansas and Missouri). His leading role as chief demagogue against LGBT Rights affords the potential candidate an attractive political niche within his party, but in his LGBT hate speech has landed a unique distinction.

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) profile literally singes any prospect of avoiding deep scrutiny for avowed bigotry against millions. The SPLC has posted a profile that includes the following statements from the bigoted Neurosurgeon.

“Marriage is between a man and a woman. It’s a well-established pillar of society and no group, be they gays, be they NAMBLA [North American Man/Boy Association, a group advocating pedophilia], be they people who believe in bestiality—it doesn’t matter what they are, they don’t get to change the definition.”
—Interview on Fox News’ “Hannity,” March 26, 2013

“[I]f we can redefine marriage as between two men or two women or any other way based on social pressures as opposed to between a man and a woman, we will continue to redefine it in any way that we wish, which is a slippery slope with a disastrous ending, as witnessed in the dramatic fall of the Roman Empire.”
—America the Beautiful: Resdiscovering What Made This Nation Great, 2012 book written with Candy Carlson

“Obamacare is really the worst thing that has happened in this nation since slavery. And … in a way, it is slavery.”
—Values Voter Summit, Washington, D.C., Oct. 11, 2013
“I mean [our government and institutions] are very much like Nazi Germany. … You know, you had a government using its tools to intimidate the population. We now live in a society where people are afraid to say what they really believe.”
—Quoted by Breitbart News, March 12, 2014
“What we need to do is come up with something simple. And when I pick up by Bible, you know what I see? I see the first individual in the universe, God, and he’s given us a system. It’s called a tithe.”
—Endorsing a flat tax for all Americans, White House Prayer Breakfast, Feb. 7, 2013

Carson is an extremist to the maximum. He has garnered a ;distinction yet to be garnered by any of the 4% of African-Americans who flock to GOP ideology. It will be intriguing to see how the distinction bodes toward his hope of a seat in the WhiteHouse.

(NOTE:  My references to the NeuroSurgeon as "Black VS African-American was out of respect for black conservative disdain for the phrase "African-American."  You will rarely if ever hear the phraseology from a black conservative and one noted conservative, Herman Cain, publicly disavowed any connection to the land of his family DNA.)

UPDATE:

Carson's addition to the SPLC "Extremists Files", is not setting well with people who also harbor hatred against the LGBT community and Same -Sex marriage.
