Rand Paul Commences The Trek For The GOP 2016 Nomination

Yes, the nation;s white supremacist are gonna
love Rand Paul's quest for the White House.
Rand Paul pulled together the best proclamation event he could muster this morning. Sadly, the Chameleon Senator from Kentucky, mustered what amounted to a call to Libertarians and quirky right wing followers.

We plan to post a few screeds on Paul's proclamation for the GOP 2016 nomination, but time doesn't permit thorough coverage of Paul "The Youngers" event.

For now, let's make a couple of points.

First, Paul used the word "Liberty" 11 times in his proclamation. That ever-present Libertarian buzz word that means nothing once it crosses the lips of those who subscribe to the false ideology. It should be noted, John Oliver's interview with Putin's protege, Edward Snowden, found the INTEl traitor also spitting the word "liberty" at Oliver and the set cameras.

The word "liberty."

I personally do not recall hearing on Libertarian speak against GOP voter suppression. Throughout the full breadth of the Bush Administration, I did not hear nor read even an iota of comment from the Libertarian Party or movement about Bush/Cheney political malfeasances. Do you recall Libertarians fighting for equal pay, increased minimum wage, civil or human rights, infrastructure spending or climate changes issues?  Now, contrast the lack of public support for humane initiatives laws as well as nation building causes against Libertarian affinity for legalizing certain controlled substances and "yelps" about liberty.

I digress. Let's take a much closer look at Paul.

Lets take a meme look at Paul's and Snowden's "Liberty."

If you are a HIV (High Information Voter) Paul's actual voting record or a partial listing of his "NAY" votes back through early 2012 should be of interest.

Vote Smart Dot Org offers an easy to read concise listing of Paul's comprehensive voting record. You will find below a partial list of his "Nay" Votes and two very important "Nay" votes with direct impact on our veterans. Also it should be noted Paul has voted "Yea" for the Keystone XL Pipeline twice and has a history of voting virtually 100% lock-step along his party's line.

Paul spoke today with that often stated Tea Party refrain: "Take our country back." He spoke of an aversion to "Big government."

Again, as stated above,  he mentioned "Liberty" eleven times. The partial voting record  posted above and the comprehensive listing via Vote Smart as well as other congressional tracking sites (Gov Trak, and Open Congress), clearly show Paul as a party-line "I support the GOP 99% of the time." vote. He railed about that common conservative dog whistle: "big government."

The GOP is more big government than the Democratic PartyDespite the common false mantra, the Grand Ol Party is one of fiscal conservatism. It is factually the party of "big government" with obscene obedience to oligarchs who fund the party's election and reelection campaigns. We can only assume the dark money stops at election campaign funding.

Paul also played the race card during his proclamation, I suppose to offset the reality of his father as a white supremacist sympathizer and publisher of a racist newsletter with content unparalleled in US History. Paul's booking a black minister to offer complete inane and unsubstantiable remarks about the president's religious affiliation were patronizing and condescending (to African-Americans) and indicative of Paul's shifty nature. The booking also shows an inner core of baiting" from a politician who has admitted an affinity for misinformation and faking writings and Parts of speeches.

"Bring on the black man to slam the black president while delivering coded false messages to the select Christian community sycophants."

Pastor Who Spoke At Rand Launch: We Don't Yet Know Obama's 'Real Religion'

A local pastor who rallied the crowd Tuesday at Sen. Rand Paul's (R-KY) presidential campaign launch suggested that he believed President Barack Obama would "evolve" past Christianity after leaving office.

“In five years we’ll find out what [Obama’s] real religion is,” Rev. Jerry Stephenson told reporters after the event, according to Buzzfeed's McKay Coppins.
Stephenson, a Louisville-based preacher, voiced his discontent with the Democratic Party in 2010 and then embraced the tea party movement, as well as then-Senate candidate Paul. He'd been discussing the issue of religious freedom after Paul's presidential announcement when a radio interviewer pressed him to explain his belief that Obama wasn't supporting conservative Christians, according to Coppins' report.

Finally, an undercurrent of Paul's proclamation was "government Spending." I believe he even used a common lie about President Obama as a spending giant who has spent more than all US presidents through our history. The lie was dealt with via Politifact in 2012, yet Paul deploys the misinformation (lie) to anyone who is a candidate for believing all hatred towards Obama.

Did Paul mention federal government spending?
