Ben Carson ("Pants On Fire")
"In the class of 1968 at Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow, Mahmoud Abbas was one of the members of that class, and so was Ali Khamenei. And that's where they first established relationships with the young Vladimir Putin."
— Ben Carson on Thursday, October 8th, 2015 in an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer
When will Trump's influence on the GOP field wear off. While I am committed to my position of Carson as suffering from a form of mental illness, his behavior of late far exceeds that of a delusional and lying candidate. The Politifacts review when coupled with a piece I published this morning clearly places Carson in a world of his own and a world akin to that fabled character who traipsed the village yelping about "everybody is crazy but me."
Realistically, the only stop to the lying madness lies with people who should speak-up about not buying the bull. Republicans and their flagship media (Fox News) gives people what they want. If people voice their concerns with the lies and mis-representations and tune them out, loss revenue and the prospect of loss votes will force a change.
