When Media Decides Debate Participation The Nation Suffers

As I perused MSNBC last evening (between commercial breaks from Monday Night football), I ran across a segment on the Rachel Maddow show that demands attention.  The segment is a bit long, to be frank, but relevant in a climate where we are finding media's guidance of the political process.

If you recall (without find details) The RNC leadership has previously admitted they sat a rule for media coverage of a primary debate after months of claiming hand-off the process for months.

As we moved through the past three weeks published reports of Rand Paul falling below the threshold for the debate main stage was all the news.  Within the past 36 hours, CNN came forth with news that Paul made the threshold without explanation of what took place literally overnight.

Rachel Maddow's production team didn't miss the sudden *re-administration*of fluid rules.

Take a few minutes and watch CNN and the RNC at work. Also, notice towards the end of the Paul segment, another intriguing tidbit regarding the sale of Nevada's most read newspaper (for $140 million).

Your elections are being tweaked manipulated and not so much for the good of us voters.
