Sean Hannity is attempting to wipe his hands clean of the and his network's culpability in Trump's ascension to the GOP 2016 presidential nomination. Fox News is virtually and singularly responsible for 'salting' conservative Americans minds to accepting Trump as their choice to run this fall. If you think CNN is Trump crazed take a look at a graphic posted by Media Matters.
On April 25th, Media Matters published an extensive review of 2016 first (calendar) quarter cable news network coverage of the 2016 campaigns.
The following graphic illustrates the extent to which certain presidential candidates dominated regarding interviews. I suspect many of Trumps interviews were phone-in discussions and off-handed opportunities for Trump to campaign vs. real interviews.
It doesn't take a mathematical whiz to come to one conclusion. Foxs News drove the data off the charts and Fox News viewers have responded as anticipated.
Let's skip forward to this past Wednesday and Hannity's pathetic attempt to absolve Fox News of its role in spreading Trumpism across conservative America.
HJannity's remarks in brief.
Why not simply relish in accomplishing its mission vs playing angles that facilitate future revenues?
