We ask you to give this short video a couple of minutes for perspective.
“Lügenpresse! That’s what you are,” one of the Trump supporters shouts. “What?” the second supporter asks? “Lügenpresse!” he shouts, and then asks whether he was pronouncing it right. “You said it right,” the first supporter confirms. “You’re all in bed with the Clintons. You’re all bought and paid for, every one of you” the second shouts.
Hitler called it 'lügenpresse'
The phrase means ‘lying press’ in German, and was used to attack media outlets that were deemed to be unsupportive of the Nazi party and its aims.
It was Germany’s ‘non–word of the year’ in 2015, after the term experienced resurgence amongst anti-immigrant protesters.
Nina Janich, a professor at the Technical University Darmstadt, and head of the jury that selects the winning terms, said the “word is contaminated by the Nazis’. The word has also been previously used by Donald Trump supporters, and in a rally in October, two people were caught saying the Nazi term to journalists:

Here is an example of one of the networks invited to Spicer's "gaggle" meeting. After Trump's major misstep in following Fox News's Tucker Carlson down a path of "fake news", the network again offers its viewers a bold faced lying guest. Again, the fake Swedish official was booked on OReilly's (the UNFACTOR).
Swedish officials (actual Swedish government officials) have commented, they do not know anything about O'Reilly's guest.
....when Swedish newspaper Göteborgs-Posten started digging on Bildt’s background, they revealed Bildt’s actual surname was Tolling (which is a little less deliberately Swedish-sounding) and that he hasn’t lived in Sweden since 1994. They also learned that Swedish national security agencies have no idea who he is.
Moreover, the guest has a criminal background and has spent the past 25 years of his life living in the United States.“We have no spokesman by that name,” said Marie Pisäter, a spokeswoman for the Swedish Defense Ministry, who also confirmed that he didn’t work in Sweden’s foreign office. “We do not know who he is.”
Trump and his communication czars along with their underling operatives spend copious amounts of time with the worlds:"fake news" rolling from their lips. The Spicer gaggle with select conservative media seems to validate references to Hitler's pre-holocaust efforts to stifle Germany's open press.
The Trump/Spicer ban places the administration squarely in the realm of some pretty unsavory international states.
