Tax Plan And The GOP Facade

...the lies continue

The inarguable suckup of the 20th and 21st Centuries. Mike Pence, unleashed a stomach-curdling suckup to Donald Trump which most rational men and women would reserve for private suckling. Not the Trump style.

Various media are reporting Pence offered kissing praise of Trump every 12 seconds throughout the three-minute oral massage. If one thinks about the fact Pence never once looked a set of notes, the rational person has to acknowledge Pence is a second to none tsunami level ass kisser.

Take a look and listen, if you missed it earlier in the week.  Also, watch as Trump receives his suckling. Imagine Rome's Nero or Sadaam Hussein receiving lavished praise while gloating like an expectant father.

As is commonly the case with Trump and company, Pence's remarks were laced with lies.

Alas, Pence wasn't the only lie purveyor over the course of later last week. Trump and his daughter also provided backup chorus renditions of Trumpism.

Today marks a great win for all Americans. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act provides $5.5 trillion in tax cuts, $3.2 trillion, or nearly 60 percent, of which go to families.

The USA TODAY effectively dealt with the $3.2 Trillion lie.   Linked.

CBS and most credible media also reported on Trump and his congressional operatives comment after the bill signing. The CBS fact check follows via an excerpt and the linked article.

A look at remarks made Wednesday and earlier about the tax plan Trump will shortly sign into law.
PRES. TRUMP: "It's the largest tax cut in the history of our country." — remarks Wednesday.
THE FACTS: It isn't. For months Trump has refused to recognize larger tax cuts in history, of which there have been many, or to grant that other presidents have enacted big tax cuts since Ronald Reagan in the 1980s.
An October analysis by the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget found that it would be the eighth biggest since 1918. As a percentage of the total economy, Reagan's 1981 cut is the biggest followed by the 1945 rollback of taxes that financed World War II. Trump's plan is also smaller than cuts in 1948, 1964 and 1921, and probably in other years.
Valued at $1.5 trillion over 10 years, the plan is indeed large and expensive. But it's much smaller than originally intended. Back in the spring, it was shaping up as a $5.5 trillion package. Even then it would have only been the third largest since 1940 as a share of gross domestic product.

Yes, the linked article also reached into Democrat "falsehoods" (lies).

Do you believe Americans will eventually tire of Trumps lies?
