Joe Biden on "Joe Biden"

Marion Young  (posted on the GOP Joe Biden "Issue")   LINKED

Biden: "We don't have to imagine anymore. The details are there. Congressman Ryan said, 'We believe a renewed commitment to limited government will unshackle our economy.' The Speaker of the House used the word "unshackle" as well, referring to their proposals.

The last time these guys 'unshackled the economy,' to use their term, they put the middle class IN shackles. That's how we got where we are!

(Nine) 9 million jobs lost, wage stagnation -- $16 TRILLION IN WEALTH YOU ALL LOST in your home equity, in your 401Ks and your pension plans -- you're the ones that got nailed! All over America, except for a very few.

And I'm told when I made that comment earlier today in Danville VA that Romney Campaign put out a tweet and went on the airwaves saying, 'Biden is outrageous in saying unshackled or shackled.' Hey, I'm using their own words. I've got a message for them:

If you want to know what's outrageous, it's their policies and the effects of those policies on middle class Americans. That's what's outrageous! That's what's outrageous!!

I think it's outrageous to continue to give companies tax breaks to OUTSOURCE JOBS, rather than tax breaks to insource. To make MASSIVE CUTS IN EDUCATION, MASSIVE CUTS IN COLLEGE AID, MASSIVE CUTS IN MEDICAID, and knock 19 million people OFF OF MEDICARE who desperately need healthcare, including 1 million seniors.

How many of you know someone in a home right now who is getting extended care?. 8 out of 10 are there because they have Medicaid. What happens when they do this? That's what's outrageous!

That's what's outrageous...massive changes. Massive cuts to social security for future generations. That's their hard proposal."
The Progressive Influence.....

The Joe Biden "Issue" is an unequivocal non-issue.  It is quite enough to have the GOP editing past video to construct Andrew Breitbart like political ads.  It is without deep thought to try to lay a charge of  "Angry"  and "Hate" against the Obama Administration. Does the GOP (specifically the Romney campaign) not realize that they have factually stepped across the line of racially charged 'code' when they reach for 'angry' in reference to African-Americans?  Does the campaign fail to remember how pictures of Michelle Obama covered an issue of the New Yorker Magazine in depiction of angry black woman? Does the GOP really want to selectively use words regarding the Biden comment, when the full context of his statements is readily available for those who seek the truth.

After clear verbal missteps from Sunnunu and and unnamed adviser during the England trip, one would think the campaign would steer well clear of such strategies.  An adviser who would exercise the overwhelming gall to mention to an English official Barack Obama is not of the "Anglo- Saxon" construct, should have been severely and publicly reprimanded. When the Romney campaign, and Romney himself immerses into race-baiting, they show true signs of desperation.

All said, I may have failed to consider Romney's need for deflecting campaign issues way from his failure to come transparent on his tax returns.
