Maddow Responds To Christe Spokesman (Nixon also attacked the press during Watergate)

While developing an update about Bridgegate and last weekend's MSNBC appearance on Hoboken Mayor, Dawn Zimmer, I ran across a Raw Story piece that has to take precedence.

I published a piece over last weekend regarding Business Insider's Brett Logiurato's headlined article: "Chris Christie Is Going To War With MSNBC." We followed the article with our personal thoughts about why Christe spokesman Colin Reed, would go after MSNBC as "actively gleeful" reporting on Bridegate. Our central point related to the Christe Administration's apparent position that MSNBC should not report on Bridgegate, thus cloning Fox News coverage, which is actually non-existent. We followed the Business Insider piece ...Linked.

The Hoboken mayor's story has completely taken the Christe investigation to an area that is far more serious (and possibly criminal) than "Bridgeagte" bullying. We are developing a separate piece on the Zimmer story, as it deserves separate focus and consideration. Although we feel, if true, the Zimmer story adds fuel to what could develop from US prosecutor investigations as over-the-top abusive governance and political malfeasance at its worse. We continue to posit: "Bridgegate has many parallels and similarities to Richard Nixon' Watergate scandal." Both scandals involve Republican governance and both scandals involve cover-ups (If the Christe investigation reveals ultimate culpability).

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow responded on Monday to accusations by members of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s (R) staff that her network is out to get him, pointing out that Christie’s administration has still not explained the September 2013 lane…
