Schumer Speaks Politics While Showing "The (Hindsight) Hand" To The Uninsured

Democrats politicians who appear as opportunist Republicans exemplify the worse of US politics while showing as elitist who have moved well right of the political center. Blue Dog Democrats like Manchin (D) West Virginia and Landrieu (D) Louisana are anticipated shadows of GOP policy and frequent critics of the Administration. Schumer, on the other, hand appears to simply have issues with personality disorders that manifest as reported via Talking Points Memo while reminding of that old adage:
"The fool that keeps his mouth closed will exist comfortably and may never be discovered a fool."
I wouldn't expect a long-term Senator like Chuck Schumer to have empathy for the less privileged, but there is something to he said about running ones mouth for no sensible purpose.  Why offer the GOP a sound bite? Why send a message to his constituents that says, "I can play the politics game via showing a level of passive/aggressive behavior that should remain in a closet."

We offer a few Twitter posts from the article, but our posted were extracted from the actual Twitter pages of each former White House aide.

Dan Pfeiffer, currently senior adviser to Obama, to also weigh in:
  1. Yes, there was a debate about whether to pursue health care. But the biggest question was whether Democrats could get it done. And we did.
So what exactly does Chuck Schumer believe was the error? Does he believe that the goal of winning office is winning office?

While maintaining a residence at a New York Ritz-Carlton, Schumer is reported to live most days like a "Frat Boy" who shares a DC apartment with rent sharing the $750 per month rent. According to Gawker....
"According to, Schumer's net worth is somewhere between $472,019 and $1,230,000. The rent is $750 a month."
It appears the isn't close to the income level of most who occupy congressional seats. He is on the other hand a member of America's economic elite.  Where is the psychological divide that would lead remarks that come across as hindsight-cognitive dissonance?
The New York Senator has supported some form of Health/care Reform since President Obama was inaugurated as President (and probably prior to January 2009).

Political positions

Health care reform

Schumer supported President Barack Obama's health reform legislation; he voted for the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act in December 2009,[43]and he voted for the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010.[44]
In 2009, Schumer also proposed that any new government-run health insurance programs follow all the standards applicable to private insurance. He did this to "address fears that a public program would drive private insurers from the market." Schumer commented, saying he wanted "a level playing field for competition".[45]
As well spoken by all former White House aides, exactly what does the Senator feel would have been a better path?
