The Daily GOP Ignominious: Ben Carson (Nut Case): Will Not Play Marbles Anymore!(UPDATE)

Yesterday, March 3rd, 2015, Ben Carson announced an exploratory committee as a prelude to his eventual announcement as a candidate for the GOP presidential nomination in 2016.

Carson recently "showed" At the annual CPAC oozfest by polling ahead of Jeb Bush and Christie.

Dr. Ben Carson, a pediatric neurosurgeon with a dedicated following, took the fourth-place finish in the poll, followed by the so-called “establishment” frontrunner, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who is perceived as too moderate by the party’s right wing and faced some hecklers and protesters during his CPAC appearance.
If we drill-down on Carson we easily find he my have performed one too many brain surgeries.  While the potential candidate lives as far to the political and social Right as any member of the GOP, he has a solid lock on the far-right continuum among all GOP aspirants.   The most recent example of his utterance "nuttiness" manifest in his extreme aversion to all things LGBT.

During a morning interview segment with CNN's Chris Cuomo, Carson validated the extent to which his mind has developed into a mesh-mash of conservative talking points. When asked about his offering "States Rights as the panacea for many of the national social ills, Carson showed his level of complete and utter failure to grasp reality.  Cuomo mentioned "states rights" as a past oppressive reality against minorities. Carson responded that following the Constitution "allowed us to fix those things."

The US Constitution became the guiding set of laws and principles over 200 plus years before The US judicial system enacted formal laws to correct oppression of minorities. In the case of African-Americans, the Civil Rights at of 1965 was the first formal measure to rid the nation of all forms of racial discrimination regarding housing, education pubic services, et al. Carsons right-wing assertion of the grand document, the US Constitution fails as flat as another point stated in the interview.

As you reach the end of the interview, Carson's comments about LGBT Rights, same sex marriage and the US prison system are completely off the rail "nutty."
