Baltimore Protest: Rivera Forays Into Strife (AGAIN): "Why?"

Embedded image permalink

Geraldo Rivera is the ultimate example of one who feigned progressive thought and acts as he developed towards his catastrophic Al Capone safe fiasco.

What a carnival side show. And, yes I watched every second.

After he flopped off television for years, the obviously socially transformed Rivera landed a gig on Fox News.

Is the former progressive actually a "turned" conservative of a false prophet for Fox News dollars? The answer fleeting and shadowy. Rivera has been called upon to lament the horrors of the outerwear Hoodie post the murder of Trayvon Martin.

The Fox News color commentator would suggest that a wanton killer and hot head such as Zimmerman would have avoided interaction  with with the victim, Martin, if the young man was without the hoodie.  How asinine and Fox News like?

As we consider the following image, should we have bought into the demagoguery Fox feeds it viewers. Should we assume the Latino Rivera could wear the hoodie without ramifications or, was Rivera paying the race card with posit that Black people cannot exist in a manner similar to the more privileged in society. In either case, his prophecy was flawed and I suspect influenced by a paycheck and crafted via Fox New producers.

Take a hypocritical look as he hung out with.......

Despite his utility on Fox News, Rivera must long for some remote reach back in time. He has a penchant for showing up at progressive happenings and events while not showing a face at Fox News sponsored Tea Party events.

Watch and listen as Rivera visited an Occupy Wall Street protest. One has to wonder if his psychological compass lost its bearings.

The neo-conservative, has again reached to the recesses of his brain for association while forgetting the extent to which millions hold his employer in a contemptuous state. He showed up in Baltimore and again wondered into a crowd. As you view and hear the Fox News employee's subsequent remarks, join me in a state of curiosity and wonderment.

Since there are no other Fox News correspondents on the streets, is Rivera seeking a Fox Red Badge of Courage? Is he bonus incentivized for visiting such sites knowing the camera will capture footage for Fox producers and the crafting of conservative propaganda? His mind could not lead him to think he would be a welcomed visitor to a place ridiculed to the extent Fox exploits the strife.

Let's follow Rivera most recent trip to "harms way." As you view the piece, think about what he actually hoped to accomplish.

Media Matters.......

On April 28, Geraldo Rivera was confronted by a young black Baltimore resident as he prepared to report on the unrest in the city following the death of Freddie Gray. The resident explained his frustration with Fox News' failure to spotlight Gray's death while hyping the unrest that ensued. The young man explained to Rivera, "I want you and Fox News to get out of Baltimore City, because you are not here reporting about the boarded up homes and the homeless people under MLK. You're not reporting about the poverty levels up and down North Avenue. ... But you're here for the black riots that're not here for the death of Freddie Gray." Watch:

Rivera responded by calling the young man a vandal once he went live on-air during the April 28 broadcast of Fox News' Hannity. Fox did not air the resident's plea to Rivera. The next day on Fox & Friends, Rivera called the protester "annoying" and an "obstructionist," accusing the resident of exhibiting "exactly that kind of youthful anarchy that led to the destruction and pain in that community."

Since the neo-conservative visited the protest site with cameras in tow, we can only assume his visit was a planned excursion via Fox New management.

The very reason the young protester went ballistic. Fox News waited until the fires started. Linked.
