The Daily GOP Ignominious: Trumpism Via His Wife's Speech (Veracity Lost)

Should we have known after the first day of the GOP Convention, an issue would surface which would again shed light on the shadiness of Donald Trump and all that surrounds him? Even more, approps is today's GOP is again exposed at a sham political party with ideology that reminds of the days of old when "yellow journalism" ruled and when bullying one's way through life was standard practice.

Yes, Melania Trump's speech included plagiarizes passages.  Equally amazing is the victim of the unauthorized borrowed passages: the current FLOTUS. A much hated and maligned FLOTUS and maligned from the very people who loved the speech. Another issue standout. Why does the GOP so disrespect its supporter?  It took less than 30 minutes for skilled minds to discern the similarity in the Trump wife speech and that of Michelle Obama in 2008.  Is there any degree of decency remaining in the GOP?

MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell hosted a discussion of the speech within an hour of delivery.

Huffington Post on Melania Trump's claim of having matriculated to a degree (in design).   As I sat and watched a top GOP operative (on CNN) speak about how "striking she is", "her physical presence,". and "her future as "First Lady", I am compelled to post a piece from today's Huffington Post.  The story-line here is when one is discovered to have moves to plagiarism, the person's background gets much more scrutiny.

It’s a good story, but it doesn’t appear to be true.
Melania Trump never earned a university degree in architecture ― she dropped out of college after her freshman year, according to her biographers.  Still, she claims to have a degree from “university in Slovenia.”
Questions about her education grew more significant Tuesday morning, following the revelation that Melania Trump plagiarized parts of her speech to the Republican National Convention from one that First Lady Michelle Obama gave in 2008.
That revelation on Monday raised the question of whether there was anything else Melania Trump hadn’t been entirely truthful about.
Slovenian journalists Bojan Pozar and Igor Omerza wrote in their biography on the former fashion model that she “became ― and remained ― a college dropout” after leaving the University of Ljubljana’s architecture school following her freshman year.
