Trump: Pavarotti's Friend

Trump called Pavarotti a "good friend." Pavarotti's widow sang a different tune.
.....Pavarotti, Trump calls him "a good friend of mine".
The world renowned Italian operatic tenor and popular music singer died over ten years ago.
Reports are Trump started his remarks reading a prepared statement. He apparently reached a point in the statement where he felt comfortable ad libbing a lie.

Trump's lie was resoundingly refuted by the widower of the famous singer.  MIC reports during the Trump campaign his handlers would blast tunes from the signer to the point of inducing a letter from the family to cease.
In a letter from Pavarotti's widow and his three daughters the family told the Trump campaign that, "[T]he values of brotherhood and solidarity that Luciano Pavarotti upheld throughout his artistic career are incompatible with the world vision of the candidate Donald Trump."
Trump is noted for venturing off his script and falling into an abyss of revealing embarrassment. Do you recall his early 2017 FUBAR regarding Frederick Douglass.
“Frederick Douglass is an example of somebody who’s done an amazing job and is getting recognized more and more, I notice,” the president said.
The nation elected a lying carnival barker as President. While it shouldn't surprise anyone his first unscripted thought is to tell a lie, it should concern us all how the man will perform on an international basis. Moreover, international leaders have psychological professionals who among other services provide profiles of their counterparts and probably of high ranking military leaders in the nation of their counterparts. What will be the assessment of Trump and how will the assessments bode with those who are now forced to interact with the leader of one of the world's most respected nations.
