As Trump's World Turns: Presidential Language?

“profanity president”

CNN Inside Edition

Swearing Thursday night during a rally in Michigan

Alas, with children present!  Actually, any decent American with even a modicum of self-respect would avoid taking a child to a Trump rally.  Is it possible I have imbued the essence of the Trump supporter via the last sentence?

A few moments ago we mentioned Trump's speech-language ad the shame of people who take children to rallies with increasing vulgar oratory form the nation's top elected official. While Trump's vulgar aura well precedes public speeches, a 2011 speech in Las Vegas foretold that which we see and hear at Trump's 2019 rallies. As he addressed a seething crowd of supporters during a period of obvious plans to run for President, Trump offered profanity 'feed'. CNN linked here

Trump is a carnival barker whose successes in life have been, in part, based on offering people what they want to hear. What is that longstanding business axiom: "Give people what they want?"  how better to satisfy the cravings of an audience which seems as absorbent to vulgar language as a new sponge sitting in Death Valley, Nevada on the one day it sprinkles rain for two minutes.

In 2016, just prior to the November General Election, Trump debated foul language as entertainment for audiences while criticizing Mexico's former president for using the F-Word.

If you are of a mind to criticize our use of video from Trump's past, we can bring the disgust much closer to today via  January 2019 speech, again in Las Vegas.

"....motherfuckers..."?

All said Trump's barker demeanor is one thing. of particular significance is the level of hoots, yells yeps, and exhibitions of love form his equally disgusting crowd.

Profanity from White House Oval Office denizens isn't new to our history.  The following video captures moments of presidential profane language. We suggest the full scope and intent of such use of profane language factor in your consideration of its decency and acceptability.

A history of White House profanity — and one cursing ...

As Trump's World Turns: "I don't know,Giuliani's Buddies, Dulles International Arrests

Well, yet another news day. As the web of Trump falls lie a spider web in a hurricane we are witnessing daily Cat 5's of mind-boggling reports fitting a revisit to the Godfather movie series. All media except Fox News and probably Sinclair local channel news staff is reporting on the arrest of two citizens with birthrights and ties to the former Soviet Union (e.g., Ukraine.),

According to a federal indictment linked below the two operatives are alleged to have violated political campaign finance laws. If the reality of a $350,000 plus contribution to a Trump campaign PAC isn't enough, note the relationship the two have with Trump's consigliere: Rudy Giuliani.

This kind of guy.....

Detroit Mafia'S Consigliere Tony Pal
Take a couple of minutes for a CNN segment regarding the arrests and the start of Trump's denial of any knowledge of the operatives.

CNN published an early report regarding the arrests: linked, here

If you are a legal Beagle, Axios published the indictment against the two Giuliani partners.

As issues surrounding Trump's attempts to bully the newly elected president of Ukraine follows its course to an inevitable pigpen, how do you think GOP elected officials are answering probing questions. During the era of Trump, yes or no questions are avoided similar to avoidance of any serious discussion of firearm control.

The question is applying pressure to secure an upper hand on a political candidate. Is it an acceptable practice or not? The only real answer in a normal world is: "no."

A matter of yes or no?

Colorado's Cory Gardner

Iowa's Ernst

Here we have a case of a VP caught between Trump's pigpen and an empty horse trough.

And what does a president do when faced with the reality of a soiled and exposed dirty skirt? (Note: skip to the second Aaron Rupar tweet below)

" I know nothing; I didn't even get up today....?  Ask Rudy.

Really? The first four minutes of this CNN segment seems to place Trump's remarks into that growing number of 12,500 plus lies in less than thee ears if office.

As Trump's World Turns: Manufacturing, China, UKraine, Poling

A Case for a Lack of Leadership

With record numbers in unemployment, there is a hidden disease in the US economy. The disease is manufacturing employment and it is directly attributable to Trump's utter ill-advised tariff policies.

Image

How about another perspective...Manufacturing?

From the US economy, we move to Trump's week in hell with invitations to foreign leaders to assist in chasing the dragon unsubstantiated allegations against Joe Biden and his son.

Now watch and listen to 40 seconds of over-the-top stoogism and sycophancy. The Florida Senator knows better.

If you think Trump working on behalf of Putin (in Ukraine) while offering illegal politicking at home isn't taking a toll, take a look at his beloved poll numbers.

It seems Putin's marionettes of Trump isn't boding well for many Americans.

As Trump's World Turns: Sharpie Gate

Is that a Sharpie mark extending a NOAA weather map? Isn't that illegal? OK, so who is the culprit?

According to the Washington Post, a White Hosue official has stated Trump (illegally) extended the NOAA map. Allow me to repeat the President of the United States (number 45 of 45 US Presidents) used a sharpie to extend the map.

Affix this image in your mind. It will go down in US History as a legacy mark for Donald J. Trump.

Watch the first Twitter embed via Aaron Rupar The thread is a full thread regarding Trump's comments. Our interest is in the eight-second snippet at the top of the thread.
Phenomenally and insanely ridiculous. Rerun link

"I don't know."  The President of the United States of America is handed a NOAA weather map with a dark very visible mark and he president doesn't know how the mark was placed on the map?

Washington Post excerpt:
...a White House official has identified the amateur cartographer as the President himself.

According to the Washington Post, the official said that “no one else writes like that on a map with a black Sharpie.”
Well......Rerun link

It would be unfair not to include the Talking Point Memo piece from which we drew the WASPO quote.

AN MSNBC segment for The Beat captures the essence and ridiculousness of Trump's sharpie malfeasance.

We thought of ending the piece here but denied to offer-u a few FYI links.

Warning! Nothing which follows offers a positive focus on the nation's 45th president.

We wonder how the "I don't know" lie adds to the Washington Post tracking of Donald Trump lies.

And, Trump today?
We will close with a link to a CNN "Anatomy of a Fiasco" A Sharpie Timeline (AKA Sharpie Gate).

Surprised?

As Trump's World Turns: Fox News, Perpetual Mendacity And 45

Fox is slipping towards reality along with a presidential perpetual state of mendacity.

The Hill published a 39-second snippet video about Trump's nascent aversion to Fox News. Linked here.

A new diversion phenomenon!  Is it possible the network is waning in the face of Trump's increasingly erratic and unstable behavior?  After all, the network has served for years as Trump's cable news propaganda outlet, What should a needy president do when he feels deep in-congruence regarding Fox?

Diversion yes but also a tactical effort to shape the broadcast of THE news outlet of his minion supporters. And therein lies a problem.

Mediaite's Josh Feldman Fox News Shepard Smith on "NOT TRUE." Linked, here.

DNC Communicators director interviewed. Now what follows must have pushed Trump to a stage of a volcanic eruption.

Has the Washington Post published an update on the number of lies told since Trump took office on January 21, 2017?  The last count, we had 12,000.  Surely we have surpassed 13,000 over the past 2.5 weeks.

How does Trump's new press secretary, Stephanie Grisham,  speak of his lies?
“I don't think they're lies. I think the President communicates in a way that some people aren't espeically comfortable with...."
Let's digress a second.
Twelve thousand (12,000 ) plus lies in less than three years?  I offer Trump's trumpeter is accurate about our comfort level.
"...A lot of times thy take Jim so literally  I know people will roll their eye if I say he was just kidding or was speaking hypotheticals, but sometimes he is."
Let's digress again.

"...What I've learned about him is that he loves this country and he's not going to lie to this country."
Well, let's check that with a video segment linked here. The segment runs a few minutes beyond the lie on which we focus. You can end your viewing around the 5:38 mark.

Now let's read the statement from Trump's White House Presser again.

As Trump's World Turns: G7 Images (In Brief) And A Bit Of Polling

...NUCLEAR BOMB DROPS ON HURRICANES? (See below)

You might ask yourself, why do people poke disparaging cartoons and comments towards Trump?  Example...

No photo description available.

Well, for the most part, the criticism is deserving. Notice the clear nonverbal regarding his interest.

Do you believe for one second if Putin was at the table, Trump would adopt such a childish aura.

Image may contain: 3 people, people smiling, people sitting and table

Telling, eh?

Well, let's take a parting peep at a bit of polling data regarding 45. If you wish to view the MSNBC segment I have linked it below.

As Trump's World Turns: MAGA HAT, Third Party Blues, Pure Hatred

In August 2018, Farm Futures Bryce Knorr published a piece regarding US Ag/farmer support for Donald Trump.  We are posting a graphic from the piece to make a point. A point other than verbiage about the plight of US farmers under Trump

If you follow US politics data indicating almost total farm support won't surprise you in any manner.  Let's take a quick look at a graphic from the Farm Futures piece.

No surprise, eh? Jill Stein? Well, it could be marijuana growers may have voted to a form the false Stein mantra of free and pen legalization of pot.

American Jews tend to favor Democrat candidates, with 71% of Jewish voters choosing Democrat candidates and only 25% choosing Republicans since 1968.

* - Number as percentage of popular vote

Again Trump and his wordsmith operatives have blown it.  Jewish leaders have come down strong in condemnation of Trump's weaponizing Jews while avoiding direct countermeasures against growing Right-wing Nazism and public displays of hatred of Jews.  Loyalty?

The Hill
Jewish groups condemned President Trump’s Tuesday remarks calling American Jews who vote for Democrats disloyal.

The groups said that the president’s Oval Office comment wrongly suggests Jews have a dual loyalty claim to Israel and plays on anti-Semitic tropes.
“This is yet another example of Donald Trump continuing to weaponize and politicize anti-Semitism. At a time when anti-Semitic incidents have increased — due to the president's emboldening of white nationalism — Trump is repeating an anti-Semitic trope,” said Halie Soifer, the Jewish Democratic Council of America's executive director.
Well, just another issue in the long-running Trump reality show.

Do you think we are being over critical and blaming Trump for the nation's racist ills? Trump is but a facade of the underbelly of US conservatism.  He is the physical manifestation of all that the Right has become since Richard Nixon (Kevin Phillips) and Ronald Reagan (Lee Atwater) planted  the seeds of the Southern Strategy in the 70s and 80s.  Let's think frankly while being honest with ourselves; the nation was a bedrock of racism and bigotry until FDR, Harry Truman and Eisenhower respectively took measures to desegregate the US military.

From coast to coast the US existed for centuries with pockets of quasi- bigot free zones (In the Northeast and parts fo the far West) while nurturing far more geography swaths of overwhelming racism across most to of the land.

Let's take a look and finish with a very recent rendition of US racism.

Ah yes, the last two images were from South Africa's apartheid past. Please forgive the error in posting, if you believe we posted the two images in error. If you are coy enough to understand our choice to post the two final images, you without question know why.

Now for a modern-day example of US racism. No, we are not going to revisit Donald Trump and US white nationalism we have a much more neighborly example.

USA Today

Jean Cramer, a candidate for the Marysville City Council, gives her opening remarks during a candidate forum Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019, at Marysville City Hall.

An actual Fox News-like racist running for City Council about 50 miles North of Detroit Michigan.  A USA Today excerpt of  Jean Cramer's opening remarks during a council meeting just a day ago.

After making racist remarks in Thursday's Marysville candidate forum, City Council candidate Jean Cramer responds to questioning at her Marysville home Friday, Aug. 23, 2019. Cramer says she plans to stay in the race, despite several call-outs for her to back out of the race.

Let's take another look while recognizing these racists are becoming an increasing scar on a nation which formerly considered itself a world equality leader and societal beacon. These people now live and thrive and spread in the United States.

We got through that overt example of white supremacy with even mention the GOP's Steve King.

Final thought She spoke openly; just think of the scope and breadth of similar mindsets who uck among you.

Yes, Cramer is the consummate racist

The MAGA Hat

During a recent point-counterpoint on social media, I was confronted with the words (paraphrased). I am proud of my hat and why is it an issue? It is just a cap.

Yes of course......

Until next time!
