As Trump's World Turns: Unpresidential As Any US President.

...Lazy And Preoccupied With Growing Overt Racism

Our history includes US Presidents who each in their own manner worked hard to make the United States a better nation. Modern US history includes all past precedents as hard-working, committed leaders who stood tall and lived credible and honest lives.

Well, I used the word "all" as a qualifier out of habit with full knowledge the US Presidency requires a special breed of human being. Our presidential history let us with Obama as a president who often read briefs and critical documents well into the wee hours of each morning.  He was reported to start each day at breakfast with his family and reports also included US Presidents was generally well into his day by 9AM. Trump offers an unfathomable contrast to the  Short Sleeper Syndrome Obama.

Trump's leaked work schedule is all a rational person needs to come to the conclusion he is a lazy and preoccupied man. Last week Axios followed other media reports in linking to Trump's schedule for the first week of February.

Recall the following?

My point is well beyond a lazy and preoccupied denizen of the Oval Office.  Let's take a quick jaunt to a national disgrace which seems to be imbued in all things Trump and many in his GOP: racism.

Early today Trump offered up a tweet just after 9AM when one would think a US President would be about the business of leading a nation.

Gallup Poll: “Open Borders will potentially attract 42 million Latin Americans.” This would be a disaster for the U.S. We need the Wall now!
attract 42 million Latin Americans?" "Latins?"
What would be the reaction of Trump's hordes of MAGA bigots if the prospect of refugee immigrant was from our northern border and the asylum seekers where white French Canadian?
Alas, the social horrors of the nation's president. Yet there should be no surprise. Trump's bigotry and racism are as clear as his comb-over and his orange skin paste.

Latins?

How could we end this piece without our daily reminder of Trump as a PT Barnum like a pathological liar? Last night Trump visited El Paso, TX. would you know he came away spewing that which is most important to him: lies about crowds sizes.  Beto O'Rourke spoke at a counter-rally mere hours before Trump took the stage.

Quick Hit: Conservative Gender Bigotry

Image result for GOP ugliness

What follows is 2:48 minutes of a clear reminder of the dichotomy of liberal (progressive if you prefer) ideology and conservative (existential) bigotry.

MSNBC's Katy Tur asked a basic and fact-filled question regarding the GOP's president and a GOP member of Congress, House Intelligence Committee member Chris Stewart (R-UT), unleash a clearly stated burst of gender bias and bigotry.

Race In America: We Can Run, But We Cannot Hide

Geography of Hate

Yesterday we published a piece about the GOP's cable communication network and visual purveyor of American white supremacy: Fox News. We don't publish such pieces without deep thought and refection of why it is important to the greater society.  Yes, the nation has growing fissure of white supremacy and the only news network which traipses in racist social degeneration is Fox News.

The topic isn't an easy one to broach and it is even more difficult for most to read about. It is absolutely a topic which is "beyond the scope" of open discussion among Americans with opposite social views which touch into race.  We avoid the reality of issues of bias, discrimination, and the far more degenerative racism. Barack Obama's election as the nation's 44th President doesn't mean we live in a post-racial society. Actually, an adroit debater can easily make a case that Obama's race and ethnicity may have offered the impetus for some White Americans to vote against all thing Democrat Party. The BBC published an unarguably related piece this past January.

If you aren't inclined to read articles which support my point, take a quick look at a New York Times graphic from July 2016.

Opinions of U.S. Race Relations

The proportion of Americans who believe race relations are generally good has declined over all since 2009.

Pew Research accomplished and published a detailed study of race relations during the Obama Years; linked here.

While I posit race relations in the US took a turn towards diametrically opposite perceptions among blacksvand white started in the 1970s (after a period of healing during the late 1960s), we specifically assert the GOP is the catalyst to today'svsocial state. Evidencevof the positsvmanifests with Nixon and Regan via the astute use of racial division from the GOP's Southern Strategy. Lee Atwater's famousvouthern Strategy at work in 1981.

The Nation (2012)

Excerpt
It has become, for liberals and leftists enraged by the way Republicans never suffer the consequences for turning electoral politics into a cesspool, a kind of smoking gun. The late, legendarily brutal campaign consultant Lee Atwater explains how Republicans can win the vote of racists without sounding racist themselves:
You start out in 1954 bysaying, “Nigger, nigger, nigger.” By 1968 you can’t say “nigger”—that hurts you, backfires. So you say stuff like, uh, forced busing, states’ rights, and all that stuff, and you’re getting so abstract. Now, you’re talking about cutting taxes, and all these things you’re talking about are totally economic things and a byproduct of them is, blacks get hurt worse than whites.… “We want to cut this,” is much more abstract than even the busing thing, uh, and a hell of a lot more abstract than “Nigger, nigger.”
Basically, the GOP used innate racial bias to facilitate winning elections.  When a political party is successful at instilling racial divisiveness among the populace. it grows and metastasizes. When cancer grows unchecked without any intervention, it grows and spreads throughout its host. When the host is a nation, we start to see what follows.

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC)

So-called Patriot and militia groups. We use this chart because synonymous with such groups is an inner core of racism. The chart below also illustrates how such groups proliferate during Democratic administrations.  If we allow a quick thought as to what takes place when Democrats lead from the Oval Office, the common denominator is less racial separatist policies. It is also critical to recall Fox News came to our airways and TV monitors in 1996, again view the chart below for a telling dynamic in 2009.

Let's also visit with the SPLC's tracking of Ku Klux Klan groups.

When a national fails to have social guidance form its highest offices, we suffer diminution of the society.

If the purveyors of racial hatred bias and racism are allowed to sow the fruits of fertile planting of "whites as victims, we find cases of what follows.

Another case of a person obviously raised to hate and the extent of her hate. also notice the audaciousness of her very public racist proclamation. Yes, of course her roommate was an African-American woman.

"White Lives Matter?" Kill It Before It Grows

When we start a piece with a video, rest assured the video has lead section information worthy of setting the stage what comes after.

MSNBC's, Joy Ann Reid-AM JOY, hosted a stellar show this past Saturday. While the show focused primarily on issues related to Trump's crumbling administration, the following segment related to white supremacy may have stolen the show (sort of speak).  If you continue to hold views the GOP is a political party and movement void of an inner core of racism and bigotry, your world is also starting to crumble.

If allowed, information kills ignorance.

Before we turn this piece over to a Crooks & Liars article, allow another key insertion.

"White Lives Matter" Is nothing more than pure unadulterated white supremacy. If we are not seeing white people stopped via profiling with all too often physical violence from cops, that surreptitious movement is a dangerous cover. If you can only find isolated cases of cops quick-killing of black people while wanton racist like Trump's Sebastian Gorka railing about black on black crime, we must recognize the early stages of totalitarianism with fissures of white supremacy.  Yes, we have seen this before.

Following the "White Lives Matter" rally in Shelbyville, TN today, another one was to take place in Murfreesboro, but anti-racist protesters far outnumbered the Nazis and the group was forced to cancel. However, some awful things did take place in Murfreesboro, such as a family was seen with a small child giving Nazi salutes. The White…

The Daily GOP Ignominious: Xenophobia, Bigotry, Rcaism, The Devolving GOP "Autopsy", And Semper Fi

(Scroll down to stop autoplay video)

Donald Trump has mentioned Ted Cruz as a possible running mate once he wins the GOP nomination for the 2016 General election. As the Republican National Committee (RNC) and conservative America sits back and allows Trump to drag their ideology to new levels of disgust, the devolving reality is amazing in its likeness to Germany mid-1930s.

Watch as Donald Trumps possible choice as a running releases his own brand of xenophobia and (yes) white nationalism.
Another conservative myth goes down in flames.Posted by Addicting Info on Friday, November 20, 2015
Rest assured Cruz's brand of white nationalism despite his history of family immigrant status, pales to the performances of Trump. MSNBC recently reported on Trumps nascent refusal to say not to the development of a Muslim database and Muslim ID cards in an American future (If he is elected in 2016).

Excuse the digression, but I must post the following. Semper Fi!!!
Hey , I'm an American Muslim and I already carry a special ID badge. Where's yours?

Again I Digress

Why does Maddow continue to do the "Mr. Trump" thing when she fails to refer to any other candidate as Mr. or Ms.?  Media serioulsy fails this nation from all political slants.

End Digression

I have long posited a major reason Ben Carson could never (ever) win the GOP nomination for 2016 was his race. While Carson and other conservatives will fight like wolverines to disavow the reality of deep racism in conservative America and the extent of racism at the core of components of the GOP, the reality stands out like a Confederate Flag. Therefore, imagine any "black conservatives" (as they detest being referred to as African-American) winning the nomination and isolating an entire GOP voting bloc: the American white supremacist and their cousin white nationalists.

How about a Cornucopia of support for my last set of statements?

I believe I recall after the 2012 defeat of Mitt Romney, RNC Chair commission an evaluation and assessment of his parties loss.  The 100-page report including 212 concrete observation/recommendations) is embed below.

The Washinton Post published the ill-fated report shortly after its public release. The document stands, today, alongside Paleozoic Era creatures (eg,. extinct and for the GOP forgotten)

The Autopsy of the Romney and GOP defeat and how to fix all issues.  Linked via clicking image below.

The study and subsequent document should have been referred to as a Lobotomy Vs. an Autopsy. Current manifestations of GOP and conservative insensitivity of all things outside of white America is on-going and utterly stupefying.

Only one GOP nominee appears to have a degree of sensitivity regarding immigration, refugees and the suffering of people of color: Jeb Bush. His modicum of sensitivity probably emanates from the existential reality of his Mexican national wife (the daughter of an immigrant).  The most of the remaining candidates (with an exception for Kasich) appears as firebrand haters who, in some, cases are using the plight of others as political leverage.  I will add none greater than Trump, Carson, Rubio, and Cruz, in the stated order. The latter three for obvious reason are particularly shameless in their use of refugees and immigrants for political gain.

Let's end with an example of how conservative dimwits follow their leaders along a path strewn with hatred vitriol, shame, and disgust. In the face of a reality that points to US domestic terrorism is more prevalent from militia and white supremacists, one citizen took advantage of a community town hall meeting to express his full measure of racism nd bigotry.

Religion, Bigotry, Fairness and Conservatism

In June of this year, the Robert's Court ruled against a previous legal judgment that denied the LGBT community marital rights.

American bigots have found cause celeb-re in an individual's defying the Robert's Court ruling with religion as their war moniker and bigotry as their closeted paradigm. Some on the Right are even talking about re-writing the US Constitution to fit their social paradigm. A paradigm which is overwhelmingly white male, Jurassic Era in ideology, defies science, and relegates women to household objects.

We apologize in advance for the lined video as it embodies the essence of one GOP 2016 potential candidate who is oblivious outside the realm of sanity. However, the video truly embodies y statement on women as "household objects."

I posit the same mindset is inherent across the full scope of American conservatism......and it is a dangerous mindset.

Let's move to the latest and most glaring example of conservative hypocrisy with religion as a war flag. First a quick visit with the king of hypocrisy and Chameleon-ism, Rand Paul, and yet another pre-SCOTUS ruling inchoate rambling regarding his "libertarian" paradigm. Now, let's review a brief on the Robert's June 2015 Court ruling.

Holding: The Fourteenth Amendment requires a State to license a marriage between two people of the same sex and to recognize a marriage between two people of the same sex when their marriage was lawfully licensed and performed out-of-State.

Judgment: Reversed, 5-4, in an opinion by Justice Kennedy on June 26, 2015. Chief Justice Roberts filed a dissenting opinion, in which Justices Scalia and Thomas joined. Justice Scalia filed a dissenting opinion, in which Justice Thomas joined. Justice Thomas filed a dissenting opinion, in which Justice Scalia joined. Justice Alito filed a dissenting opinion, in which Justices Scalia and Thomas joined.

And, in the Great State of Kentucky we have outright defiance of the law of the land.  Can you recall a time when conservatives were so anti-Robert's Court rulings?  They (to the person) relished gutting Civil Rights legislation regarding voting rights and the state of Alabama. They embraced the Court as it ruled in favor of Citizen's United and secret funding and sponsorship of elections.  And, they remain quiet as the Courts handed cops stop and search rights which will undoubtedly weigh in favor of disparate stops of blacks and Latinos. Then comes gay marriage rights and you have social hypocrites defying the Courts ruling in the name of religion.

When we speak of hypocrisy we seriously mean "hypocrisy."
Dan Savage on Kim Davis: "This is about someone hypocritically cashing in, and she is a hypocrite.”

The Kentucky clerk has released a statement regarding her position on refusing to issue marriage license to LGBT couples. The statement is completely ridiculous and indicative of exactly the mindset the United States should be placing in coffins for deep burial.

Lex18 Dot Com

Her lawyer speaks.
“She’s acknowledged that she’s made mistakes, “ Staver said. He explained that the turning point in her life came four-and-a-half years ago when her mother-in-law died. To fulfill her dying wish, Davis went to church and found her Christian faith.
The opening of the statement seems to have been written by a professional, but regardless of author the statement is irrelevant  to put it mildly.
"I have worked in the Rowan County Clerk's office for 27 years as a Deputy Clerk and was honored to be elected as the Clerk in November 2014, and took office in January 2015. I love my job and the people of Rowan County. I have never lived any place other than Rowan County. Some people have said I should resign, but I have done my job well. This year we are on track to generate a surplus for the county of $1.5 million.
Relevance please?  Leave it to a conservative bigot and her lawyers to place a history of remember before the rights of a segment of the population.
In addition to my desire to serve the people of Rowan County, I owe my life to Jesus Christ who loves me and gave His life for me. Following the death of my godly mother-in-law over four years ago, I went to church to fulfill her dying wish. There I heard a message of grace and forgiveness and surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. I am not perfect. No one is. But I am forgiven and I love my Lord and must be obedient to Him and to the Word of God.
What we have here is probably heartfelt words from the county clerk, but I doubt there is one word in her job description which provides sanctuary in a state of bigotry not backed-up by directly related Scripture. The job description should by federal law include essential and nonessential (job) duties with separate lists of physical and skills requirements. The description, without doubt, does not include accommodation for religious beliefs. Also, note the common church vernacular of pray for forgiveness and you will receive it, Really?
I never imagined a day like this would come, where I would be asked to violate a central teaching of Scripture and of Jesus Himself regarding marriage. To issue a marriage license which conflicts with God's definition of marriage, with my name affixed to the certificate, would violate my conscience. It is not a light issue for me. It is a Heaven or Hell decision. For me it is a decision of obedience. I have no animosity toward anyone and harbor no ill will. To me this has never been a gay or lesbian issue. It is about marriage and God's Word. It is a matter of religious liberty, which is protected under the First Amendment, the Kentucky Constitution, and in the Kentucky Religious Freedom Restoration Act. Our history is filled with accommodations for people's religious freedom and conscience. I want to continue to perform my duties, but I also am requesting what our Founders envisioned - that conscience and religious freedom would be protected. That is all I am asking. I never sought to be in this position, and I would much rather not have been placed in this position. I have received death threats from people who do not know me. I harbor nothing against them. I was elected by the people to serve as the County Clerk. I intend to continue to serve the people of Rowan County, but I cannot violate my conscience."
Did you notice the essence of the statement: "I" and "me?" If the "I" and "Me' are the essence of the issue, the clerk could simply walk-off the job, thus enacting a resignation. Of course, 27 years is an extensive background and employment career that wold be hard from which to walk away, but it seems 23 of those years were devoted what seems an all inclusive life of "I" and "Me" regarding social/sexual interaction. How does the last four years of her life qualify as final authority, outside of the law, in denying civil rights to people regardless of demographics. It is a dangerous position that can and will be applied to others areas of US bigotry and racism.

If you think for one second ultra-conservative bigots will not reach to apply the same denials to interracial couples, you are either a conservative to the core or you till feel this nation is an exceptional nation. In either case, you are misguided and factually an enabler of the Kim Davis's personal war of bigotry and deprivation.

We will close this piece with a link to a a very well developed piece in Liberal America from Tiffany Willis, founder and editor-in-chief of Liberal America and an "unapologetic" member of the Christian Left.

Update: The Daily Kos also published a piece that adds to a the Kim Davis story.

President Obama Greeted With Confederate Flags

President Obama

South Carolina taking down the confederate flag - a signal of good will and healing, and a meaningful step towards a better future.
10:12 AM - 10 Jul 2015

"...... a meaningful step towards a better future."

One can only hope. But, life in America doesn't offer a any bright lights along the path to the president's hopeful future. We live in a society that finds race and hatred expeditious political tools. If we look back to pre mid-1960s America and compare visuals that exist in current social America we find little obvious difference other than an America absent government sanctioned Jim Crow.
Sure.
Of course!

From this.....

To this?
As the president journeys across the nation as the most traveled US President in our history with a trophy of at least one visit to each of the 50 states, American racism and bigotry follows like a thread of toilet paper stuck to a shoe.

President Obama's tweet (above) has led to a few open protest regarding the removal of the Confederate Flag from a moniker from publicly owned government buildings. Neither Obama nor public opinion has yet to attack display of the flag as a private right. Nonetheless, the nation;s racists and bigot are busy.

Obama's recent visit to Oklahoma (without surprise) was met with ready brandishing as waving a the Confederate Flag. While we continue to hear and read malarkey about the flag as a simply moniker of southern pride, facts differ and circumstance speaks much louder than words.
