The Daily GOP ignominious: Trump Presser And CNN Fact Check

Image result for trump camp david presser today
We previously posted the following Trump Camp David presser. The previous post included the suggestion that Trump has gone almost one year without a press conference; why offer up such an event now? The Fire & Fury book and Trump's over the top obvious concern with its revelations.  So what did he do? He drug GOP leadership (with an exception of his Attorney General) on the stage and worked to refute passages in the book while defending a tweet in which he referred to himself as a "genius."

Our specific interest in posting the video is to draw your attention to the first 26 seconds of the presser.  Watch as Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell entered the picture. Does Paul Ryan seem excited and anxious to be on the stage?  He actually seems to signal his displeasure.  Ryan's non-verbals must have been intentional as people who attain his level of congressional leadership surely understand the nuances of oratory as well as non-verbal messaging.

The full video is linked, here.  Again our primary interest is in the first 26 seconds.

As is always the case, Trump's presser was replete with lies and embellishment and included an outright red flag from Mitch McConnell. McConnell mentioned bi-partisanship in Congress going forward. Well, did the GOP offered an iota of bi-partisanship to Democrats in the Obama Years?

Trump's presser was carefully crafted around his need to address issues form the Michael Wolff book. As we have come to live each week, lets sit for a CNN fact check of the presser.

Lies, Opinion News, And A Rebellious Media

You gonna win so much you may even get tired of winning! (Video)

Do you recall the days of old and the carnival barker who lured you into his tent and your eventual leaving the tent thinking..."Now, why did I pay to go in to see the fake crap?"

(A few seconds of viewing makes the point)

Do you recall the barker was never around to field your angst about wasting your money?

Donald Trump is a pathological and consummate liar. As is always the case people with such psychological deficiencies need layers and layers of facilitators an expected reality. Trump's ascension to an election win was historic in many ways, the most astounding of which was media facilitation for a person lies to the level of Trump. Consider a brief review of Politifact and Trump's "all False" statements.

What you just read or observed is poignant, tragic and pitiful, and very much unfitting for a US President (and not in any way personally admirable.)  Trump's predecessor left the White House with a virtual 60 percent approval rating. How did he feel about Trump's veracity?

Obama on Trump the carnival barker

Former Democrat Party presdiental candidate Martin O'Malley

You might say well those guys are Democrats; of course, they would speak as such. Well, there is a noted progressive former journalist who also feels the nation's 45th Present is a serious problem if we want honesty in the White House.
CNN's Brian Steltar also joined in via addressing Trump's utter lack of grasp on reality (via  his "worthless" words).
What happens to a country when a leader’s words are worthless when their promises are toothless or utterly useless? Is that where we now with President Trump?

Yet, we really we really should ask ourselves:  "Is there a surprise, here?

Trump has been proven as a carnival barking liar and manipulator well before he declared a run for the GOP 2016 ticket. Could network show hosts and credible journalist now suffer form of dissonance for not fighting assign Trump as did over half the nation. CNN certainly soft-balled Trump from June of 2015 forward to just before the fall elections. Half of MSNBC's hosts and reporters avoided direct challenges to Trump. Moreover, MSNBC's morning show hosts went well beyond softballing Trump while often appearing to wiffle ball the reality show bloviator.

While we will not expend any serious tie addressing the Fox News role in US Trumpism, one noted evening show demagogue recently caught a direct comment or two from another old school and credible Tv journalist.

Trump's National Spokesperson And Rational Perception Of Disgusting: Obama As a Half-Breed?

Trump national spokesperson goes gutter.

In 2012, Pierson had complained that both then-GOP nominee Mitt Romney and Obama were not “pure breeds” because their fathers had not been born in the United States. She has also quipped on Twitter that Obama was refusing to help the black community even though he was the “head Negro in charge.”
Since late last fall, we have posted a few pieces regarding a Donald Trump (tea party darling) spokesperson who comes across on newscasts as a bit edgy and careless with her own demeanor. She once appeared on CNN with an expended bullet shell casing necklace within weeks of two mass shootings. During another broadcast, spoke of carpet bombing in the Middle East as acceptable. "...they are only Muslim." Pierson has a personal history that most viable and credible presidential candidates would avoid as if fleeing a tsunami tidal wave. Trump welcomes the bloviating insanity of Katrina Peirson, and she without question doesn't fail the Manhattan bigot.

Over the weekend, Pierson responded questions about in which say stated President Obama ias a 'half-breed."  Yes, The last sentence did not end in a typographical error-laced phrase.
Let's explore the latest oral disgust from the Trump campaign.  We offer a piece we published a few weeks back, but the meat of this piece is available via two sources:  If You Only News and The Daily News Bin
If You Only News

In 2012, Trump Spokeswoman, Katrina Pierson, put out a desperate call on Twitter for a “pure-breed” candidate. Fast forward a bit to 2016, where Sunday, during an interview with CNN’s Brian Stelter, Pierson defended her post calling for a “pure-breed” president by arguing she was a “half-breed” like President Barack Obama.
A horse in the raceFor me, phrases like “half-breed” and “pure-breed” call to mind three things: fantasy settings with all their creepy, racist overtones; horses; and people who know jack about evolution but like to pretend it confirms their racist biases against black people — aka proponents of “human biodiversity” or “racial realism” (see: epigenetics and behavioral epigenetics, and how poverty and social standing affect both. See also: confirmation bias).
Since humans are incapable of reproducing with our nearest genetic relatives, the chimpanzee and bonobo, and elves, dwarves, and orcs don’t exist, one is left to draw the conclusion, regardless of skin color or individual phenotype, the result of human-human mating is a “pure-breed human.”
Nobody, however, told Katrina Pierson, spokeswoman for the Donald Trump campaign, any of this. In 2012, she took to Twitter to lament the lack of “pure-breeds” running in the race, noting neither Romney nor Obama were “pure-breeds” because neither had fathers born in the United States.
On Sunday, she was cornered by CNN’s Brian Stelter, and she amazingly enough stood by her claims, arguing she was a “half-breed” as well.
Stelter started by asking if she’d like to retract her “pure-breed” remark, and it went downhill from there, with Katrina replying:
"No, not at all. These tweets — I’m an activist and I am a half-breed. I’m always getting called a half-breed. And on Twitter when you’re fighting with liberals and even establishment, you go back at them in the same silliness they are giving you.
So, I myself am a half-breed. We have entered silly season. Donald Trump is up in the polls. There’s desperate campaigns out there, they can’t take him down so they try to take down the people that are around him. And we’re just not going to get distracted by all that nonsense."
So, would you like Italian or Thousand Island dressing with that word salad?
No, Katrina, neither you nor Obama are not half-breeds because neither of you are horses. Humans do not have breed lineages and pedigrees. Attempts to create them have been disastrous for human genetics and for human society — for instance, the Hapsburg Dynasty of Europe.
About the only thing she got right is that we have entered “silly season.” I couldn’t think of a better way to describe an election cycle where Donald Trump is the front-runner.

Donald Trump campaign sinks to new low: President Obama is a “Negro” and a “half-breed”

Read more including a link to a detailed Raw Story piece.

As mentioned in the piece we posted in early Januarys, Pierson lives with what a rational person can only describe as a past filled with reprehensible acts. With a degree of trepidation in extending the piece, full disclosure regarding such a disgusting person is necessary and warranted. For those who seriously want to know the quality of Trumpism, follow us a bit longer.

It is important to note what follows is a piece from a website that is about as far right as you can imagine. We use the piece for illustration of Katrina Pierson while complying with the website developer's request to use the entire post without modification.

Pete Sessions rival Katrina Pierson says ’97 shoplifting charge helped turn her life around

Pete Sessions rival Katrina Pierson says ’97 shoplifting charge helped turn her life around
Katrina Pierson 3
On and off the campaign trail, congressional candidate Katrina Pierson sometimes discusses the hardscrabble background that she says ultimately made her a conservative firebrand.

The troubles in her youth, records show, included an arrest for shoplifting.
In 1997, five days before her 21st birthday, Katrina Pierson, then named Katrina Lanette Shaddix, was arrested on a charge of theft of greater than $50 and less than $500.
Pierson, who is running against Dallas Rep. Pete Sessions in the March 4 Republican primary, acknowledges the mistake. She told police then, and repeated recently, that she was talked into shoplifting by a friend.SOURCE

I’m all for 2nd chances but a *shop lifter* is certainly NOT what we need to have in the 32nd Congressional seat.
Look folks, I am NOT naïve, I KNOW that we have law breakers in the Halls of Congress, the U.S. Senate and certainly the Obama regime is filled with them, Barack Hussein Obama being the most prominent of the bunch, and YES, I DO realize that Ms. Pierson was *young and foolish*, but weren’t we all?
I am 60 years old and yes, I have seen the inside of a few jails, but never as an inmate or as a person under arrest, I was always there *on business*. When it comes to being *young and foolish*, my youthful indiscretions were the things that juvenile counselors held up as how to NOT live your life if you wanted to continue living FREE.
In other words; I was NO Saint, but the fact remains; I am NOT running for a seat in the U.S. Congress, I’m a blogger that expresses political opinion and the decisions I make won’t effect an entire Congressional district.
According to a Plano police report, Pierson said she and the woman with her, Laura Elizabeth Nelson, told police they needed the clothes for jobs they were trying to obtain.
Pierson told police she was “scared at first and did not want to go through with it.”

I haven’t seen anywhere in this story whether she got the job or not. Just saying.
Pierson said she was “scared at first and did not want to go through with it.” Does that mean that as the act was being committed, that the longer it lasted and the longer that she participated that she did somehow lose her fear and indeed sought to go on with this criminal act as a willing participant? That’s a fair question I believe, given Ms. Pierson’s statement, or rather, it’s *wording*.
Again I point out the *careless*, or not well thought out way that Ms. Pierson speaks, the *deformed Veteran* thing, the wondering why Pete Sessions wouldn’t meet with her here in Texas, even though he was in Washington taking care of OUR business, and then this “I was scared at first and did not want to go through with it.” Seriously, it makes me wonder if Ms. Pierson has the ability to speak, unscripted, and to do so without bringing embarrassment to the people of the 32nd Congressional District.
The report said Pierson had her young son with her when the incident occurred.
KP Mug Shot 2
Katrina Pierson is 37 years old according to this story. If she was 21 when the incident took place, and she happened to have her *young son* with her when the incident was committed, I am guessing that now her son must be somewhere in the neighborhood of 17 years old.
Bear with me here…
Katrina Pierson and her son are listed as residents of Garland, Texas. I have to wonder why, exactly, does Ms. Pierson’s son attend school in Wylie, Texas? That’s not a really *BIG* issue for me but is surely one of those things that I personally would love to have cleared up.
Are Wylie schools greatly superior to Garland schools? Do you see the reason for me to ask the question? If Pierson is a resident of Garland WHY would her child attend school in another city? Granted, Wylie is within the 32nd Texas Congressional District which Pierson would represent should she win the election, BUT, Garland ISD and Wylie ISD are 2 separate entities.

Pierson said Sessions’ supporters are mounting a smear campaign, but added that she has nothing to hide.
I think she means ME 😛
Ms. Pierson; there is NO smear campaign being mounted, it’s just that some of us don’t fall for your charms and your claims of TEA Party conservatism. Some of us speak the truth, and just for the record; the truth is NOT hate speech and it is NOT a smear campaign.
A Sessions spokesman declined to comment on the arrest. Sessions has said he’s never been arrested.
Pierson says she’s willing to discuss her shoplifting charge, and other issues, with Sessions, chiding her opponent for refusing to consent to a public debate before the primary.
“Why don’t we both meet up in a public forum and talk about it?” she said.
Ms. Pierson; I have written s few posts about you and I used your own words as inspirationFOR those posts, no supposition Ms. Pierson, your own words, but now you are very close to playing *The VICTIM Card* to go along with the *RACE Card* you threw recently when I questioned your obsession with The BLACK TEA Party and your obvious love of Malcolm X.
North Texas voters; don’t let her *TEA Party* moniker influence anything either, Katrina Pierson is more concerned about The BLACK TEA Party and her love of Malcolm X, who SHE calls “The 1st TEA Partier” than she is anything else, and it seems like there’s barely a day goes by that Pierson isn’t having to defend herself from *smear campaigns* simply because of her less than wonderful word choices.
Pete Sessions doesn’t need to sit down with you in a public forum Ms. Pierson. You’re doing a wonderful job of shooting yourself in the foot with NO help from Pete Sessions or his campaign.
As I told you on your Facebook page; apparently speaking the TRUTH about YOU makes ME a racist, that was your accusation, and apparently, the TRUTH, your own words, DO hurt.

Women Issues Are KiIlling the GOP

Trump as Opportunist Liar

After making shameful remarks about Republican candidate Carly Fiorina's looks, Trump, as usual came back with an insulting lie. Insulting that he would actually feel the collective intellect of the nation is similar to those who support his every move and utterance his celebrity worshiping sycophants.

A response when questioned about the personal attack on Fiorina:
“The writer actually called me and said, ‘I’m so upset, I wrote this great story and Jann Wenner screwed it up,'" the mogul stated.
The problem with such a deep lie, the perpetrator fails to properly assess the reality of a cable news host asking the writer if the statement is true (See Anderson Cooper 360 below)

Let's first visit with a quick video of Anderson Cooper with CNN's Brian Steltar.

CNN Brian Steltar with Anderson Cooper; 1:25 minutes on the Trump's horrific (latest) attack on a woman.

CNN's Chris Cuomo attempts to speak rationally with an irritations Trump (who was covering a lie).

The real sadness associated with Trump is the extent to which Americans are buying into the bull. I have recently read comments from people who I know are progressive both socially and politically, who ahve comment about an affinity (albeit it momentarily fleeting) form Trump's bull-crap rhetoric.

Trump is only the tip of the Iceberg.....We offer a quick visit with another GOP candidate who seems to be wearing a cloak of the charlatan.

Huckabee as charlatan opportunist

There is something seriously wrong in the GOP and Reince Priebus's mission seems to have failed. These are not "fine candidates" as he recently stated on national TV.

Ebola: "It's Here."

"It's Here!"

"Witch Doctor"

"Traditional Medical Care"

Fox News draws the attention of CNN's Reliable Sources, Brian Steltar's and production team.

Fear, loathing and racism, the hallmark of Fox News and a testament its viewers. Viewers who not only tune-in for daily does of various concoctions of derangement, viewers who tolerate and possible relish the undercurrents of racism that permeates and infiltrates Fox News as a media or entertainment center.

Brain Steltar and guest Miles O'Brien explore the dark passages of Fox News as network "Fear Bringer."

For expediency and out of respect for our many screeds on Fox News, I will simply end the piece here.

When your resume includes this, should we really expect more?

Not a Fox News set image
Competent minds and purveyors of media (even opines) do not have to go there. But, ultimately the lowest level of denominator is the viewer who seeks or tolerates such mindless libido enticement laced propaganda.
