The Lady Who Would Call You A "Nigger"

...Yet she feigns "Not a racist!"

The Raw Story has published a more detailed story about the NY State "Nasty Nigger" barker!

As with Donald Sterling (who did not use the "N" Word with his concubine) and Cliven Bundy (who also avoided the word) the NY shopper declares that she really is not a racist.

Well, we are finding more and more whites who self-perceive as non-racist. Yet they openly use the most vile words to image their (THEIR) thoughts.

NY woman’s racist tirade at Dollar General goes viral: ‘Nasty f*cking n*gger!’ (via Raw Story )
Video that showed a New York woman yelling racist slurs at a black man went viral this week, prompting outrage on the Internet. On Wednesday, a YouTube user named IAMOYAB posted video of himself sitting in a Dollar General parking lot arguing with a…

Mark Cuban, Tim Wise, Crystal Wright, on "We Are All Bigoted!" (VIDEO)

Donald Sterling's racist validation (as it has been reported for many years) and more recent revelations continue to reach across the full fabric of our nation. Yet, another NBA Team owner backed-up his early concerns about NBA actions against Sterling with a more detailed explanation of his psyche.

Mark Cuban Dallas Mavericks Owner:  'I think we're all bigots.'

While I am certain you may have found Cuban's self-imposed support for Sterling reason forgiveness, I vehemently disagree. First, his support for the seething racist Sterling appears as a message to the millions who hold similar views that they are "OK."  It is OK to harbor such views, and by the way do not bother to work at being a better or different person. His words fall way shy of even adequately speaking about a problem he himself labelled as a lack of tolerance. The fact that he is so verbal in support of Sterling only leads to a form of condoning others to just live-on as a bigots without regard for their impact on others.

Two points before moving into the central theme of this screed. Cuban's serious and blanketing stereotypical feelings about "hoodie-garb" and association with young black men, is simply horrific. Horrific in disregard for Trayvon Martin's family. (Of course, Cuban later apologized, but the apology these days is mere perfunctory without deep meaning and relevance). Cuban's stereotypical psyche reminds of this: the yellow shirt Publix store manager stalking two black teens.

As I watched the manager stalking the kids, I have two thoughts. First, think of Trayvon Martin as George Zimmermann stalked him that rainy night, when his only crime was to seek munchies during a pro Basketball game half-time. Next point...... you and I have to wonder if the grocery store may have actually experienced theft from a white person while the manager stalked the teens.

Wonder if Cuban recognizes the dangers of his bigotry and racial intolerance?  His remarks lead me to believe he could fall victim to a Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer or a John Wayne Gacy. "Stretch" examples, but nonetheless with a point.

Of course, Cuban's remarks are receiving much scrutiny. CNN pulled together a panel for a five minute segment worth every minute of viewing time. Towards the end of the segment you will observe what seems to be a conservative pundit (and politicians) strategy in combating cogent arguments when caught ill-equipped to retort. However, we also shouldn't underestimate the importance of entertaining the conservative base.

Watch as the noted anti-racist educator, consultant and lecturer, Tim Wise addresses comments from "the Black Conservative Chic." Prior to Wise's opportunity to speak he sat quietly and very professionally as "The Conservative Black Chic" rambled on in support of Cuban's remarks. Rambling mind you that also reminds of Wright as a "Differentiator"* from those in the black community who view conservatoire America and the GOP in a very different manner. She not only took exception to Wise's use of data and statistics, she clearly joined  the "yellow shirt" manager from the video above in positing US prisons are full of black males (via implication) for a reason. Her comment and reasoning is both horrid and typically in line with millions on the Right

You will notice " The Conservative Black Chic," Quickly adopted the very strategy delineated above. Grab a concept, bundle it in conservative dogma and rail like an on the edge guest on the former Jerry Springer Show. As you watch the segment, think about what Wise may have said that warranted  "The Conservative Black Chic's" behavior.

"The Conservative Black Chic" Crystal Wright moves to a familiar place.
(image screen shot via FireShot)

If you failed to see why Wright has monikered herself as  "The Conservative Black Chic," you viewed and listened to the segment with a blindfold and ear covers. Unless, of course, you did not bother to watch the segment.

How GOP is it to lump black imprisonment to the paradigm black people commit the majority of crimes? How crass and typically white conservative is it to lay hoodie garb to Rap Music and lay that genre to black kids.  It would be completely impossible for Rappers to become billionaires via purchases from black kids only.
Wright starts her rant with accusations Wise suggested she via his words might be "moronic." Wright's comments prior to Wise uttering one word, most assuredly spoke to her "moronic" mindset and equally idiotic conservative paradigm. But, when one monikers as Wright has monikered ("The Conservative Black Chic"), it is with clear intent to appeal to a very specific segment of the US population: the conservative. She also validates my assertion "African-Americans who claim conservatism literally hate the vernacular: "African-American."

"Just call me black."
"And, by the way, look at me I am so different than those people."
"While I recuperate form being attacked by that clean-cut white man, I was at least mindful of the black kids across the street."

Wright's on-camera behavior is becoming modus operandi from the Right.

Do you recall the following from another conservative show guest on the Chris Hayes ALL-In Show?
Complete Jerry Springer Show like performance! Yes, I use the word performance as intentionally as I am keyboardist this piece.  Conservative pundits frequently resort to similar defense mechanisms via actually enacting a familiar attack. Recall the age old football axiom, "The best defense is a good offense." Why deal with challenges via civil and intellectual point-counter-point when pushed into a corner when a "conservative go-off" entertains people on the Right?

We witnessed same this week when Senator Rockefeller (D) VA. mentioned the prospect political resistance to ObamaCare may fall into the pattern of obstruction. Obstruction that also includes Obama as president and "the wrong color." (1:24 minute embed below).

Rockefeller did not accuse Johnson of being a racist, Rockefeller spoke frankly and truthfully about that which has heard, he has observed and knows is a fact. Johnson knows same, but chose to deploy the "Defense is the best offences' strategy. He was fairly civil, but frankly very childlike and strategic in his ploy.

Senator Rockefeller, you and I have all witnessed clear evidence many on the Right have issues with Obama as an African-American sitting in that vaulted "white-male only" Oval Office. Alas, time passes slowly and change does not follow on the Right. The only Republican sitting in the hearing and defender of this party jumped to racism. He did so when Rockefeller stated a fact about some aspects of resistance to President Obama. If you are a conservative, you have also heard, seen it of sensed it. Yet, Johnson's antic received co-signing support from another noted GOP functionary: Joe Scarborough.

Johnson and MSNBC resident and chief conservative, Joe Scarborough, know full well each has heard resistance to Obama in part related to race. It is an existential non-reality to think that overt obstruction doesn't also have fissures into the president's race.  Mark Cuban should forsake his "moating" for Donald Sterling. Crystal Wright should "perform" much more professionally as a conservative mouthpiece pundit. Her commentary probably sent a message to the 96% of African-Americans who have disdain for the GOP a message that validates their concerns. She literally exercised "white privilege" (in her comment) while on camera as black.

* The "Differentiator." The African-American who adopts a core conservative political (and social) core. There is nothing at all adverse about the Differentiator so far. The person also adorns layers of comment, actions and behavior to appeal to his/her 92% white GOP and false libertarians who dislike being called conservative. The comment, actions and behavior mirrors that of Wright as she asserts black imprisonment to higher crimes rates among black men. She doesn't bother with consideration of convictions rates for whites vs. blacks. The Differentiator knows white conservatives utterly love their existential reality. Most know they differentiate for various reasons, the more easily explainable and most obvious in Wright's case?  Checkout the sign on the door, "The Conservative Black Chic."

Trevor LaFuci's Open Letter To Bill O'Reilly (And To Millions Who Quietly Share His Ideology)

White Privilege....."Who Da Cap Fit, Let Dem Wear it."  Robert Nesta (Bob) Marley

Obama the "N" Word!Robert Copeland, New Hampshire Police Commissioner (Resigned)
"I'm a Jew. Jews help each other. Black People don't do that."Donald Sterling, LA Clipper's Owner, Delusional Jewish Real Estate Mogul, "Light Skinned Black Woman Lust Machine/Sugar Daddy"
"...let me tell you what I know about the Negro."Cliven Bundy, Tax Evader, Millionaire cattle rancher, Feels Negores did not learn to pick cotton, anarcho-terrorist leader
"White Santa; White Jesus," privilege denier, Muslims on an airplaneFox News,
Conservative Media Network, GOP Communication Department, Right-Wing social Leader, and purveyor of racial intolerance

All the men in this piece, with an exception for one who is obviously different, have three things in common. Maybe four things, but certainly three things are shared like brothers of the cloth.

Each is without about deep conservative republicans. Each is a high-end baby boomer. Each has some degree of heritage that may have provided an upper hand as a platform to catapulting to their millionaire status. Each is a white male with all requisite privilege, often referred to as "white privilege."

Some celebrate their privilege: Tal Fortgang, Princeton University freshman. Yes, a few months beyond high school!

Pat Buchanan the day after President Obama won his second term as the 44th President of the United States of America:

The Daily Currant
"...the former Nixon advisor was more explicit on the G. Gordon Liddy Show this morning. When asked for his reaction to Obama's victory, Buchanan replied brazenly:
"White America died last night. Obama's reelection killed it. Our 200 plus year history as a Western nation is over. We're a Socialist Latin American country now. Venezuela without the oil."
Stunned by his clear racisim, Liddy tried to walk his guest back from the ledge:
"With what you just said right there...You seem to imply that white people are better than other people. That's not really what you're saying is it?"
"Of course that's what I'm saying," Buchanan replied "Isn't it obvious? Anything worth doing on this Earth was done first by white people."
Deep down Americans either.....
...know white privilege and abhor it,
...know white privilege and are indifferent,
...or know white privilege and relish its benefits to the person with the "conferred privilege" (while most will never speak as boldly as those depicted in this piece).

There are no other options.  Well, you might ask, as if you are not aware: "What is white privilege?"

White privilege (or white skin privilege) refers to the set of societal privileges that white people benefit from beyond those commonly experienced by people of color in the same social, political, or economic spaces (nation, community, workplace, income, etc.).[note 1][neutrality is disputed] The term denotes both obvious and less obvious unspoken advantages that white persons may not recognize they have, which distinguishes it from overt bias or prejudice.[1] These include cultural affirmations of one's own worth; presumed greater social status; and freedom to move, buy, work, play, and speak freely.[2] The concept of white privilege also implies the right to assume the universality of one's own experiences, marking others as different or exceptional while perceiving oneself as normal.[3][4] It can be compared to and/or combined with the concept of male privilege.
And, there exist a select group of Americans who is highly compensated for service to their political community, and who will argue in denial of "privilege" until their faces turn red. A reality exhibited by each man imaged in the gallery above.

Since this screed has a core nucleus that evolves around an Open Letter to Bill O'Reilly lets move forward after a short video segment. The segment clears identifies O'Reilly and the accommodation McCain as believers of and benefactor of "White Privilege." O'Reilly and John McCain "white privilege" with a slant toward outright bigotry and elitism. Warning: The video quality is far less than high definition.

O'Reilly, Chief Fox News Stooge Stewart Varney, and a Fox News employee frequently called upon to provide "straight guy" fodder for Fox News entertainment of its predominately white viewing audience. No Fox News stooge does it better than Varney. Megyn Kelly serves well as the Fox number two position, but Varney has no equal.

For sake of clarity, I define "Stooge" as, one who appears with top Fox News hosts to provide an accommodating tennis-partner like back and forth dialogue and affirmation in support of Fox News entertainment and propaganda.

O'Reilly, Varney and guest and our screed entree.  You will notice total contempt for the guest's point-of-view via Varney and O'Reilly's in studio snickering and contemptuous glee. We can only assume their audience simply loved their comment, glee and insensitivity.

O'Reilly Pactices "White Privilege." Hopefully It Was Inadvertent

Have you ever seen clear evidence of, or a sterling (no pun intended) example of ,"White Privilege?" Bill O'Reilly and FOX New again delivers with a triple layer of WHITE icing on top.

As you listen to O'Reilly play to his vast and undoubtedly predominate white audience, think about the quietness and subservience of centuries of human bondage. Think about the quiet danger of Jim Crow.  Think about conservative America, Fox News and people like O'Reilly, Donald Sterling, Cliven Bundy, Megyn Kelly and the unheard million upon millions who share their beliefs systems. The unheard millions who harbor and nurture their individual racism in the comfort of uncompensated privacy.  And, yes the unintended pun above, fits Bill O'Reilly like a cheap wet white glove.

So, as long as minorities and people who abhor bigotry, racism, misogyny and homophobia remain quiet white people (averse to the minority quest for equality and fairness) will be happy. Now, tell me you have never seen nor heard "White Privilege." I offer the perfect example via bill O'Reilly.

I posit the problem is not with Americans who speak out against "White Privilege". The problem is so obviously the millions upon millions who listen to people like O'Reilly and conservative media like Fox News and who share a belief system that "Man is NOT Created Equal" and white live with a false sense of birthright conferred privilege to dominate others.

"Hopefully It Was Inadvertent!"  We know better, now don't we?

Donald Sterling: And The Story Moves On. What's UP With LA NAACP?

We now know the decision regarding how the NBA would sanction LA Clippers owner, Donald Sterling: Complete and total ban, $2.5 million fine and banishment from all NBA activities (associated with the team). The decision was swift, definitive and appropriately harsh.

v. stiviano instagramThere are many stories related to Sterling's eventual demise. The man has a past that should have led to banishment from ownership of a professional sports franchise with 80% of players of African-American ancestry. His legal entanglements include clear and irrefutable evidence of housing discrimination* should have led to consideration of Sterling as an undesirable NBA owner. Los Angeles chapter of the NAACP press conference regarding Donald Sterling and his racist comments, revealed by his concubine hired help "girlfriend."

A major concern is being quietly glossed over.  Once we get past the reality Sterling's "girlfriend" was akin to a woman for hire, you have to be blind or unwilling to address the serious failings of the Los Angeles Chapter of the NAACP.

I briefly digress.

Before moving on, and to squash any comment in defense of Sterling's "girlfriend", know that regardless of her social dynamics and how she lives her life, she certainly knew right from wrong. So, she possesses a degree of ethics that will serve a greater good,  And, yes she probably sold the tapes to TMZ.

Fox News's Megyn Kelly's production team dispatched an Asian reporter to the NBA News conference to ask a question that could only emanate from Fox News.  And, within Fox News such questioning generally comes from a production team that pre-Christmas 2013 dabbled in "White Santa/White Jesus."  Yes, Megyn Kelly continues to seek the highest order of Fox News biased racially oblique reporting and in this case actually appear to seek a defense of Sterling.

“Should someone lose their team for remarks shared in private?” she asked. “Is this a slippery slope?”

Question for Fox News Megyn Kelly.

"Suppose the tape revealed an intent to perpetrate mass murder, murder, terror, robbery, or child molestation?"

 End digress.

The Los Angeles Chapter of the NAACP? Something is seriously off-center regarding the chapter's management team and motive. Donald Sterling was about to receive a highest achievement award in a matter of weeks. In 2009, the same chapter honored Sterling with a similar award.  If anyone other than the California legal system should have avoided lauding Sterling, it should have been the Los Angeles NAACP.
Sterling is a billionaire with all accompanying power. I posit, his exercise of financial privilege to secure willing concubines probably also manifest in inclination to throw many for other privilege. I have read Sterling loved to receive awards. There is an intriguing image coming up in a bit.

Let's explore  the NAACP award from the top.

A CNN perspective with Tavis Smiley and an official from the National NAACP.

The Los Angeles NAACP press conference. (3:28)  Look closely and remember what you see!

Mother Jones:  "Sterling is a registered Republican"
Take close look!  Do you recognize anyone? Hint: The yawning guy.

Of course, the "yawning guy"may not be the same Los Angeles NAACP official as you and I viewed in the video above. And, if it is the same guy there is certainly the possibility he purchased the front row ticket near the owners seat. Of course, possibilities abound.  However..........

I will end my  curiosity at that point.  But, I will walk away with a strong case of wonderment as to why Sterling was again slated for an achievement honor?

A far less glamorous shot of Sterling's concubine.

* NPR April 28, 2914: "Donald Sterling: A Spotty Reputation further Tarnished"
'No Blacks, No Mexican-Americans'
If you took all of Donald Sterling's racial scandals together, you might have a hard time distinguishing him from a villain in a blaxploitation movie. (Critics would complain that the character was too broadly drawn.)

This story has blown up more than Sterling's other racial controversies, which were almost certainly of more consequence. It's telling of our current media moment: Sterling's record settlement in a federal housing discrimination lawsuit received relatively scant national media attention. But catch someone saying something awful on tape, and the floodgates open.

Sterling made his fortune in real estate — he was the largest landowner in Beverly Hills — but he had a reputation among his tenants of being petty and discriminatory. During a lawsuit, a former employee said Sterling would not rent to blacks, Latinos and people with children, according to a 2009 article in ESPN: The Magazine:
"Cultivating his image, [former employee] Davenport said, meant no blacks, no Mexican-Americans, no children (whom Sterling called 'brats') and no government-housing-subsidy recipients as tenants. So according to the testimony of tenants, Sterling employees made life difficult for residents in some of his new buildings. They refused rent checks, then accused renters of nonpayment. They refused to do repairs for black tenants and harassed them with surprise inspections, threatening residents with eviction for alleged violations of building rules. ...
"When Sterling first bought the Ardmore, he remarked on its odor to Davenport.
'That's because of all the blacks in this building, they smell, they're not clean,' he said, according to Davenport's testimony. 'And it's because of all of the Mexicans that just sit around and smoke and drink all day.' He added: "So we have to get them out of here.' Shortly after, construction work caused a serious leak at the complex. When Davenport surveyed the damage, she found an elderly woman, Kandynce Jones, wading through several inches of water in Apartment 121. Jones was paralyzed on the right side and legally blind. She took medication for high blood pressure and to thin a clot in her leg. Still, she was remarkably cheerful, showing Davenport pictures of her children, even as some of her belongings floated around her. ...
"Davenport reported what she saw to Sterling, and according to her testimony, he asked: 'Is she one of those black people that stink?' When Davenport told Sterling that Jones wanted to be reimbursed for the water damage and compensated for her ruined property, he replied: 'I am not going to do that. Just evict the bitch' ."
During the lawsuit, it was also alleged that Sterling's wife, Rochelle, would show up at their properties and falsely identify herself to tenants as a government official so she could inspect their apartments and inquire about the ethnic backgrounds of the folks therein.
Sterling's subsequent $2.7 million settlement of that lawsuit was the largest-ever payout for housing discrimination in a case brought by the Department of Justice involving rentals. The NBA did not issue any penalties against Sterling related to that case, which was largely ignored by national sports outlets.

A Social Cancer That Has Metastasized In The United States: Jon Stewart "Racism" [VIDEO]

I give them food...
I give them clothes...
I give them cars...
I give them houses....

(All they have to do is pick cotton . Ooops, I mean.......)

The month of April 2014 has turned out to be a seminal period of reflection of American sordid past.  A past including indelible passages under the title "race." Archives with roots in the western Europe that eventually led to fissures in Africa and "forced immigration." Forced immigration to support a growing country with need for free labor in a primarily agricultural region. A growing country infested with people indifferent, intolerant and hostile to people unlike themselves relative to race and culture. A people who over-time also exemplified its future via genocide against native North Americans.

Moreover, a nation with regional ideology that found human bondage and low cost labor an acceptable and requisite business model.

Inherent to, and in addition to, a nation dependent on slavery coupled with a general ideology of hostility towards non-white human beings, the young nation tucked itself into a future bigotry and racism at its core. It became such as existentially as plantation slave quarters, freedom to plunder sexually, unfettered oppression physically and with authority to destroy ancestral lineage. Thus, a nation set a path towards and a foundation for bigotry and racism as common as fireworks on the Fourth of July.

And, we should never believe that people like white supremacists, people like Cliven Bundy, people lie Rush Limbaugh, people like Donald Sterling, people like Pat Buchanan, news networks like Fox New and political parties like the GOP and the Libertarian parties have sole ownership of racism and bigotry. We are seeing in America on a daily basis.

Racism is also not a cancer that solely exists in the United States.  Yet, US racism is a  degrading social disease the we should not only not tolerate. It should be driven into oblivion by true Americans with courage to speak out when faced with racism. Racism should be hunted down like a rabid animal and extinguished by federal authorities and the Department of Justice. Additionally, the US Congress, if left with Democrat representation with any degree of power, should counter decision by the GOP SCOTUS. The GOP is over-the-top indifferent to matter of race and it as a political party is harmfully tolerant of people who exercise their human and constitutional right to say what they wish.  One more step....I will restate my strong commitment to contempt for a political party since the late 1960s (Kevin Phillips, Lee Atwater, Ronald Reagan) who led in what we are seeing today: '"It is OK to be a bigot."

Before turning this piece over to the genius of Jon Stewart, it should be noted: Donald Sterling is a registered Republican. He may have contributed to progressive causes in the Los Angeles area, but he is not a card carrying Democrat. I will posit, listening very closely to his words will yield the essence of thought by millions upon millions who seem to still harbor social ideology common across the full scope of America in the 1700s.

The Daily Show...Jon Stewart

Now, before you leave, scroll up and re-read the opening. How do those words differ from those heard by Cliven Bundy, Rick Santorum (BLAH People), and Paul Ryan (Inner city culture)? Now, what does each of those people have in common beyond race? As a matter of fact, I find no names in this piece who claim American liberalism or progressivism; a telling reality.
