Trump, FOXPEN, And The News

Image result for trump unga laughterAs Trump visited the United Nations last week, he left what will surely become an entry into the annals of US Presidential quotes. Sadly, the specific quote I reference relates to Trump's lying boast about his first two years in office.

Remember this...?

Thirty-nine (39) seconds of infamy: the "unexpected"  laughter.

As we move away from Trump's infamous week and his insane rambles at the United Nations, and a later press conference, take a look at how Fox News, FOXPEN-Fox Propaganda and Entertainment Network, broadcast the 39 seconds to its viewers.

As you run through the following twitter thread (and video), it is important to recall authoritarian regimes are propped up and supported by media which offers false reality to sycophant or unsuspectingly naive viewers (or listeners).

Actually the two videos an comments from the twitter account holder are my primary interest. If the thread includes various comments for readers, please ignore them.

FOXPEN
There is no cable news nor mainstream media network which more strategically edits video than Fox News. Network owners, managers, and producers apparently consider their viewers' cash-cow revenue bait who relish false reality news and current events from the Right.  While the vast majority of Fox News viewers know of the UN laughter, they return day-after-day for doses of pure psychologically twisted entertainment. PT Barhum nemesis in life had a phrase which encapsulates the fox Viewer to the max What is the old adage of "...(one) born every minute?"

Why criticize Fox as you I have in the previous text? In all candor,  businesses have a business model to give the customers (viewer) what they want.

Fox News' Tucker Carlson Entertains Via A Lie (Micheal Avenatti)

You may know that we do not care to post fox News video on the page. We do so when it absolutely critical and nine times out of ten that instances relate to outright lies from Fox producers, editors, and on-air hosts.

Well, it is time to post another video featuring the ever so lying Tucker Carlson. While we do to recommend the full viewing of the embed we strongly recommend viewing the first 2:30 seconds.

The Blue State Daily addressed Carlson's feed to his viewers.

The Blue State Daily

Excerpt
“We invited the creepy porn lawyer onto this show. We called his office – or what he said was his office. It may have been a booth at a Wendy’s in Passaic, maybe a White Castle – you never know. In any case, he turned us down flat. Too bad.”
Shortly after Carlson had proven what an immature little whiner he is, Avenatti responded on Twitter, noting that he did indeed decline Carlson’s invitation because he wanted to appear on Sean Hannity’s show instead. And he also had some choice comments for Carlson:

.@TuckerCarlson - Stop lying to your viewers. You did not invite me on your show Fri night. It never happened. You invited me on Wed and I responded within 3 minutes (see below). I then never heard back. Again – pls have Sean’s EP reach out to me. And try honesty next time.

End The Blue State Daily excerpt.

If you experienced difficulty in reading the part of Avenatti's post due to image size (with redactions) we offer a view which is a bit larger.

Fox News isn't a news network. It is a network for its inception in 1996 which entertains Right-leaning citizens.  Sadly many Americans tune-in to the network thus exposing themselves to utter lies on a daily basis. Of most concern; the nation's 45th President considers the entertainment network his preferred currents events purveyor.

While not part of the headline nor the essence of this piece, we feel it worthwhile to add another segment from Carlson. The following segment offered the of News entertainer opportunity to secure excitement form his viewers and a few social media posts.  We offer the not-so-famous, ever-present, and ugly Carlson go-off.

Remember the basic tenet of all business: "Give the customer (viewer) what they want". If a business has a model which includes entertainment of a large audience, the business entertains by any means necessary.

As Trump's World Turns: G7 Summit, Fox News, Trump "Dictator?"

No automatic alt text available.

If we are to start with a cartoon about Trump's red caps and Fox News, let's roll right into something very Fox News like. The network is so void of competent professionals it is embarrassing. Fox News host, Abbey Huntsman, literally referred to Trump as a "dictator."

Twenty-six seconds of a major 2018 Freudian Slip.

Former MSNBC co-host and nascent Fox News addition later apologized for the "Freudian Slip/parapraxis.
The mind is a powerful human characteristic, it is of its own and often gets out ahead of one's consciousness. Huntsman's remarks were as poignant as I have heard this year.

A former Fox News middle has no remote idea of US History. World War II did not find the US and Germany in a "good relationship." It is critical to keep in mind, Heather Nauert is the State Department Spokesperson. She is either clueless while running her mouth, or she has grade school interns as writers.

MSNBC's Morning Joe host responds.

The examples of FOXPEN hosts is an indication of what happens when a network hires almost solely on looks.

From Fox to Trump.

As I mentioned interns or (grade schoolers to be more specific above), take a look at another existential job requirement for a White House or congressional interns. Trumps recent White House lawn celebration day.

"Buckets of Interns"

During the same week, the phoniness continued. Trump and the National Anthem he is currently using to drive his social agenda. Well, why is the link noteworthy? He doesn't know the words to the anthem.

While the dwindled to almost non-existent protest across some teams in the NFL, was virtually forgotten and rarely enacted by seasons' end, I suggest a much more serious issuea US President who can not mouth the words.

If you think Trump is only embarrassing the US within the confines of the Continental US, think again. His antics at the G7 Conference are historic an shameful beyond belief. We will report on other antics as the week develops, let's leave this post with Trump's total disregard and lack of respect for women's issues and Conference protocol.

Disrespect, lack of professionalism and outright shameful.

Fox News Locates Comey At The Times (OOPS)

Image result for fox news toilet heads
What a scoop for Fox News! I correct myself. What a scoop for FOXPEN (Fox Propaganda and Entertainment Network). Yes, a real once per lifetime news scoop.

When a Television network is in the business of offering daily propaganda feeds and misinformation to absorbing sycophant viewers, such a scoop must have seemed the prospect of a safe win for the 2017 Edward R Murrow Awards.

Image result for television news awards  A sure winner without question! Former FBI Comey headed into the New York Times building with wife in tow. The former head of Fox News would have invited the on-camera host to his office for personal accolades; as accolades for Fox News for women host and staff exist.

Check it out.

As Fox News goes, so goes Fox News.

Ed Henry (Fox News entertainer): “it’s so odd.”

Take a look for yourself.

Comey is six foot eight inches tall and a person who is recognizable across the globe. For some reason his holding the door for his wife to enter the building doesn't appear as hiding, mischievous nor wrought with any level of subterfuge. If Fox News viewers were people who exercise independent thought, some would take the step to realize the former head of the FBI could affect a much more cloak-filed disguise if being surreptitious was important. Intriguing, within the construct and confines of the last sentence, I offered up the ridiculousness of Fox News and it seems I offered up why the network is successful at reaching their audience.
Fox viewers are conservatives and I frankly have no indication over the span of my life conservatives are deep thinkers.

Take a look at one conservative tweet:
Occupy Democrat's provide a basis for this piece with effective delineation of what amounted to yet another Fox News tsunami butt-pucker.  Comey didn't visit a New York Times newsroom at all. He was visited a law firm, Covington & Burling, which hosted a charitable organization.

Maggie Haberman of the New York Times.
Read more at Occupy Democrats, lined here.

Before you leave, consider another reminder of the extent to which Fox News is propagandizing on Russian collusion. "It's not a crime."

Fox Goes Rightwing Hate After Deranged Trump Hater Baseball Practice Attack

After this week's suicide by cop of the Republican congressional baseball team practice shooter, some on the right (very public figures) have embarked on what seems a case (or cause) for violence. The more visible of the lot happen to work at FOXPEN (Fox Propaganda and Entertainment Network).

We really do not expect rational and nationally cohesive programming  from FOXPEN as the network isn't a news network; it has a business model which focuses on specific demographics (on the white male age 35 to death and in many cases his wife of significant other) while serving as the communication go to place for the Republican Party and America's conservatives. As is the case with all business mission and goals, its major focus is giving the customer (viewer) what they want: a basic requirement of all for-profit businesses. A model which leads to frequent far-right rhetoric, unabashed demagoguery and a consistent aura of anti-minority broadcasting.

We are now speaking about the need to find common cause in Washington DC. Well, trust us, total cohesiveness will never take place as such doesn't fit the political stratagems of the GOP. What would the party be without that dedicated southern block of states which are an will remain red throughout our lifetime? What would the GOP be if it did not have a solid lock on far western states with an exception for California Oregon and Washington State? How would the party (consistently) win elections if it wasn't successful via pitting certain white voting blocs against African-American and Latinos? The 1970s "Southern Strategy" is as real and critical to the GOP as its white male oriented aura and over-the-top claims of Christian purity. All with over-the-top exhortations to violence throughout the Trump campaign.

Take a look at a meme with images of people who were reported to have followed Trump's orders to hate on the press, hate on perceived non-supporter and people who were Trump supporters in general.

We readily admit cases of anti-Trump supporters harassing Trump supporters, yet we truly believe that cases are fewer and with much less violence. We will avoid capturing cases of Trump su[orters harassing non Fox News media for sake of time and web space.

We opened with comments about Fox News's mission regarding all things Trump, all things conservative and other related matters.  We offer a set of Facebook or Twitter posts with video and comment from Fox News demagogues as well as comment from the ever-present and totally irresponsible Newt Gingrich.

No liberal ideology isn't at the root of all things bad in our society.

A quick consideration regarding Gingrich. He seems to have found cause to reverse his position on former FBI Director Mueller as Special Counsel in the Trump/Russia investigation.

Robert Mueller is superb choice to be special counsel. His reputation is impeccable for honesty and integrity. Media should now calm down

Just over one month later!

Republicans are delusional if they think the special counsel is going to be fair. Look who he is hiring.check fec reports. Time to rethink.

Excuse the Gingrich exhibition. He is as credible as any Fox News host.
Fox News (as bad as it is) host Melissa Franics took on camera exception to Gingrich's demagogery.

So ugly, so dangerous and so divisive yet no surprise.

Fortunately, there are counter-voices in media. a few words from a true professional and a person grounded in rational thought and no FOXPEN contract.

Trump's "Fake News": FOXPEN (Fox Propaganda and Entertainment Network); Watching Kushner

Reuters

Last night, while avoiding his failed First 100 Days, Trump avoided appearing at the Washington Correspondents Dinner. He literally ran off to Pennsylvania and hosted a crowd of supporters and deplorable(s). Yes, the crowd included deplorable people who continue to yell "Lock her up" (in reference to Clinton's email issues) while Trump's managers spend hours each day working to ward-off a Russian/Trump electoral scandal which on a daily basis is reaching deeper into the White House. He ran off to a safe audience and continued spewing lie after lie to people who do no are about being lied to as much as they drink water or consume food. Actually, many in the crowd seemed to relish Trump's platform oratory (replete with lies and inept reading from a teleprompter) on an equal level to their physical need for food and water. Let's face it they must regular feed their right-wing paradigm; hence, the success of Fox News.

One such very obvious lie was Trump's rant about filling campaign promises.

Miami CBS local affiliate

“We are keeping one promise after another and the people are really happy about it,” Trump said to the crowd.
The enthusiastic crowd cheered familiar themes from the president.

“Media outlets like CNN and MSNBC are fake news,” he said.
Yes, of course, promise after promise fulfilled.  Trump is a small man in a job which is far too big for him. He has, in the past likened himself to Superman (if he fulfills his promises), well Harwood says it best.

Noted journalist and opinion writer, John Harwood, should get full credit for keyboarding the quote of the week.

CNBC

....Candidate Trump also insisted that, by force of his negotiating skill, he could fulfill those vows quickly where predecessors had failed. When I reminded him in a Speakeasy interview that America doesn't have Superman presidents, he replied jauntily: "You will if you have Trump. You watch."
If his first 100 days have made anything clear it is this: That wasn't true.
In the Oval Office, in fact, Trump looks less like Superman and more like Professor Marvel in that "Wizard of Oz" scene when Dorothy peers behind the curtain to see that Oz isn't so great and powerful after all. Trump is a talented salesman with the world's biggest microphone, but he has no experience making government work and precious few aides to help him learn how.
What happens when an egomaniacal billionaire wins an election to the US Presidency while leaving a clear path of lies, politicking promises and flat-out political manipulation? What happens?

Trump was assessed by credible not having the wherewithal for the US presidency. "Wherewithal" is a unique and often strategic used word to denote a few human traits the person either possesses to a great degree, has to possess to achieve success or the person traits the person fails to possess (e.g., Cognitive acumen, an ability to accomplish tasks [skills], competence in achieving goals).

Propaganda ensues. The President and his handlers operate from a total platform of working to promulgate the false reality of a successful first 100 Days in the White House. And, the strategy works well with people who live in safe little bubbles while harboring no interest in what takes place outside of that bubble. As long as what happens doesn't reach into their safe space, they are happy Americans. It also works among people who are gullible to the more, or with people who so consume themselves with worshipping stars and celebrities, the purveyor of the propaganda has an ease mission.

Trump is the classic example, surpassed only by few in the history humankind. Two such benefactors of mind shaping propaganda come to mind: Adolf Hitler and a much more nascent benefactor: Donald Trump. Neither of whom could have successfully reached the level of leaders of nations without dedicated, competent and loyal information ministers;(with skilled support organizations).

The Trump misinformation campaign continues at this very minute. We find a more validating example via depiction of Hitler's Minister of Communication (and propaganda).

A lie told once remains a lie but a lie told a thousand times becomes the truth - Joseph Goebbels

Trump has a few such purveyors of lies and misinformation. Not one, however, surpassed the breadth and scope of FOXPEN (Fox Entertainment And Propaganda Network). Hugh Hewitt, Mark Levine, Rush Limbaugh, Hannity and Tucker Carlson have their place in Trump's misinformation machine, but Fox News stands atop the pack like excrement above the water level in the toilet.

Trump's propagandist cable news network, Fox News, recently aired what has to be the most insulting set of graphics outside of a presentation of a poor cartoon.  While Trump supporters and the majority of Fox News viewers may have absorbed the misleading graphics, rational Americans can see through the propaganda.  In fact, I don't even believe Joseph Goebbels would have lowered his craft to the gauche level of what follows.

While airing "fake news" graphics of comparisons of Trump's first 100 days in office to other presidents network producers and developers came up with the following. We have intermixed two Fox graphics with charts which directly refute Fox News misleading presentation. Basically, Fox leveraged real numbers without proper recognition of the economic abyss of the final year of Bush Administration.

First, a comparison graphic of the US Dow Jones Industrial Average performance during times of economic strife. A close review of the chart shows the Obama Administration reverse the ravages of a deep recession over a much short time period than the lingering comparisons of the late 1930s recession. The red trend lines embarked on a sharp upward trend while the comparison period experienced a roller coaster-like downward spiral.

The first Fox graphic represents a visual representation of unemployment data which really shouldn't be used if producers valued accuracy in reporting.  Trump's time in the Oval Office is within a period of economic performance (recovery) derived by Obama Administration policies. The US unemployment rate moved for Bush up to very close to 10 percent and was lowered via job creation during Obama's last six years to below five percent.

Use of the graphic also allows Fox mind-shapers to manipulate the visual without any reference to the Obama Stimulus which contributed to the sharp decline in the red trend line.

Jobless rate after first 3 months: Trump vs. Obama vs. Bush vs. Clinton.
4:34 PM - 29 Apr 2017

You might notice two very important aspects of the chart below. The charted years of 2008/2009 are stark in the depiction of the Obama Stimulus and its almost immediate counter to the Bush's economic hemorrhaging. The opposite side of the chart offers the stark reality of the state of unemployment as Trump came to his decisions to seek the 2016 GOP nomination.

Fox producers took their propaganda a step further.  The second chart below illustrates the reality of Obama's first 100 days as a mission to reduce the loss of jobs at the end of the Bush years. Remember, we saw months of jobs losses from 450,000 to 800,000 job losses per month.

The watching Eyes Of Kushner

Let's foray into another Trump dynamic for a moment.  Have ever noticed the extent to which his son-in-law maintains almost constant eye contact?

I once watched and heard Rachel Maddow comment about the appearance of Trump's ever present son-in-law while Trump's Mar-A-Lago party group (cabinet) sat in a temporary situation room to review the aftermath of Trump's 59 Cruise missile (in honor of Assad and Putin) fireworks show on an emptied Syrian air base. Maddow's take on the Kushner gaze in the large image below was something akin to young guy worship, reverence for the billionaire, or maybe a form of sucking up or reverence based interaction with his father-in-law.

While neither Maddow, her team, nor I am experts in human behavior, I find a few images of Kushner behold his father- in-law not so base in reverence. It seems Kushner seems to watch Trump so closely the possibility of necessary scrutiny should also be on the table. Is Kushner watching Trump so closely due to the families knowledge the aged Trump needs close scrutiny? While purely conjecture, does the son-in-law know or recognizes signs of Trump's behavior which may denote a less than stable state (albeit temporary)?
