Watch A National Conservative Propagandist At Work

Image result for fox newsEarlier we posted about last night's Trump/Hannity propaganda blast of Trumpism laden propaganda regarding the Special Counsel investigation. An investigation which is obviously setting an inferno in the mind of Trump which can be assured has genesis in guilt.

Sean Hannity is the GOP's number one propagandist/demagogue. He spent hours with Trump a few weekends ago at his Mar-A-Lago resort. A visit with reports of another known Fox News demagogue, Jeanne Pirro, and possible Lou Dobbs via the phone.

Do you recall this guy?

The Daily GOP Ignominious: Sean Hannity, The Prototypical Media Conservative

...and as phony as they come.

The Prototypical Demagogue and Chief Fox News Propagandist
Quick Hit.

We see no need to comment beyond this 2:00 minute exhibition of the core of Fox News and the perfect illustration of all that has stifled our nation since President Obama took office in 2009.

What a Fraud!

Hannity Propagandizes; Facts Refute

Sean Hannity and his personal crusade against President Obama. His flavor of the past weeks: Obama takes too much vacation time. Hannity, the master propagandist is also wise enough to spin his web of deceit with silky strains called: cost to the nation and people are out of work.

Watch the propagandist spin his silky deceit.

Intoxination 12.5.2011
2009 - 2011 Reagan, Clinton, Bush, Obama

MSNBC, Politics Nation, Al Sharpton: President returns to Hawaii.  Joe Madison comments about the right's disdain for seeing an African-American president on vacation in Hawaii. Point made but the issue drives much much deeper. The problem was (is) Barack Obama's election on November 4, 2008. The problem metastasized on January 20, 2009: Inauguration Day. Picking at the president's down-time (And that of his family) is akin to picking at the scab of a nasty cut on one's arm.

Factcheck.org. Obama spent 26 days on vacation in his first year in office: Reagan 42, George W Bush 77, George HW Bush 40.
CBS News Obama spent 61 days on vacation in his first 31 months in office: George W Bush 180, Reagan 112, Clinton 28.
MSNBC Obama took 84 days vacation in his first term. George W Bush took over 1000 days vacation in his two terms. This equates to 5.7% for Obama and 34% for Bush (we'll use 365 days a year as the basis on the assumption that the President works 7 days a week).
A Politics265 Dot Com piece that adroitly laid-out presidential vacations as well as I have read.
Calls to several Presidential libraries reveal that President Obama’s predecessor, George W. Bush, was on vacation more — 1,020 days — than any U.S. President since Herbert Hoover and possibly more than any other President in history.
Even President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who was in office 12 years from 1933 to 1945, was on vacation less days than President Bush at 958 days.  Calls to several Presidential Libraries reveal that no President can come close to Bush’s 1,020 days on vacation in an 8 year period.  Even Lyndon Johnson, who spent 484 days at his ranch in Texas and at Camp David during his presidency, came in under Bush’s vacation time.  Some claim the cost of Bush’s frequent trips to Crawford, Texas cost taxpayers upwards of $20 million, but the numbers are hard to confirm.
A recession started in 2001 as Bush took office after 22 million jobs were created during the Clinton Administration from 1993 to 2000.  Bush began wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and presided over the loss of 4 million jobs.  The debt when Bush left office was $10.6 trillion.  In 2005, the Washington Post noted President Bush’s frequent vacations in a piece titled Vacationing Bush Poised to Set a Record as Bush took the longest single vacation — 5 weeks — of any President in 36 years.
President Bush spent 32% of his presidency on vacation.
Bush passed Reagan in total vacation days in 2005 with three and a half years left in his presidency. Reagan spent all or part of 335 days in Santa Barbara over his 8 year presidency.  Bush spent 487 days at Camp David during his presidency and 490 days at his Crawford, Texas ranch, a total of 977 days.
When you add the days President Bush spent at Kennebunkport, Maine, he spent a total of 1,020 days away from the White House — close to 3 years.  At 1,020 days, Bush was close to being on vacation more days than President John F. Kennedy’s total days in office (1,036).  Representatives at the Nixon and Johnson Libraries indicate those two Presidents were on vacation less than 1,000 days during their terms.
President Obama has been on vacation 78 days from 2009 to 2011.  At the three year mark into their first terms, George W. Bush spent 180 days at his ranch in Crawford, Texas and Ronald Reagan spent 112 vacation days at his ranch in California.  Of course, staff was around all three Presidents on vacations and all White House aides argue that the commander-in-chief is never “out of touch” with work.
Calls to the Eisenhower and Truman Libraries reveal that those Presidents were not on vacation for more than 1,020 days.  Eisenhower was on vacation for 456 days during his 8 years in office.  When asked on whether President Herbert Hoover’s vacation days could be over 500 for 4 years a historian at the Hoover Library said, “No chance. Everyone agrees he was a grinder — he was the kind of guy for whom a vacation was rare — his vacation days were less than 50.” Hoover was in office from 1929 to 1933.  Frequently Hoover either drove himself on brief trips or was driven by a military attachment or took the train.
President Obama was on vacation for 26 days during his first year in office (2009).  Ronald Reagan spent 42 days on vacation during his first year in office (1981). President George H.W. Bush was on vacation less than his son, 40 days, in 1989, his first year in office.  President Obama was on vacation less in his first year in office than the previous three Republican Presidents.
No President since Reagan was on vacation less than Bill Clinton. Presidents Clinton and Carter vacationed the least of any of the last seven chief executives.
I will now introduce yet another common sour note via an excerpt from a source that bespeaks its name sake. Breitbart Dot Com writer  TONY LEE published this piece yesterday.
"Bush rarely takes the type of vacation one would consider exotic -- or, to some, even appealing," the Post wrote. "His notion of relaxation is chopping cedar on his ranch or mountain biking through rough terrain, all in 100-degree-plus temperatures in dusty Texas where crickets are known to roast on the summer pavement. He seems to relish the idea of exposing aides and reporters to the hothouse environment."
Obama, on the other hand, has traveled to Hawaii every winter. The Obama daughters are vacationing at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas this week with a full Secret Service detail, as Breitbart News reported, even as the White House claimed they could not afford to pay Secret Service agents to continue the popular White House tours for other students who are on their spring vacations in Washington, D.C.
The Obamas have gone to Martha's Vineyard multiple times while the country was in recession and Americans were struggling to find jobs. Michelle Obama has taken a whirlwind trip to Spain and a ski trip to Aspen
Obama took 13 vacations in his first term, which spanned all or part of 83 days. But they have been much more lavish than Bush's. His annual vacations to Hawaii alone have cost taxpayers at least $20 million during his first term. In 2011 alone, Michelle Obama may have cost taxpayers $10 million on vacations herself. Obama's fantasy golf outing this year cost local law enforcement in Florida a reported $78, 205.
Lee's angle is a typical Breibart sophism. He expends lots of words on a premise that is a charade and overwhelmingly false. Simply put, President Obama is a native of Hawaii. He also does not own a 'summer home" or "fake Ranch" as did bush. Bush is reported to have purchased his ranch not long before running for the presidency in 2000 and he sold the property almost immediately after leaving office in 2009. The sale of the property literally deprives US History an opportunity to geographically archive the location of Bush completely dissing an Intel report of possible Al Qaeda attacks on the US. If I an not mistaken, Bush was on vacation the day of the disavowed briefing. In March of 2003 Paul Thompson wrote the following snippet related to the Bush Administration. Ghe excerpt was extracted from, THE FAILURE TO DEFEND THE SKIES ON 9/11
Protection for a Lucky Few

In fact, just about the only known actions taken by top-level Bush administration officials were to protect their personal safety. According to Congressman Porter Goss (R), Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, "the chatter level [of intercepted terrorist communications] went way off the charts" in summer 2001 and stayed high until 9/11. [Los Angeles Times, 5/18/02] Both Bush and Vice President Cheney responded by spending nearly the entire month of August on vacation at separate locales. [AP, 7/30/01, Jackson Hole News and Guide, 7/15/01] Former US Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney said she was disturbed about the implications that "24-hour fighter cover was placed over the Bush ranch in Crawford, Texas" during his vacation there from August 4-30, 2001. [Counterpunch, 9/18/02] ABC News reported that Bush was doing "nothing much" on his vacation, aside from his regular daily intelligence briefings. [ABC, 8/3/01Washington Post, 8/7/01Salon, 8/29/01] On August 6, when Bush received the briefing entitled, "Bin Laden to Strike in US," he apparently "broke off from work early and spent most of the day fishing." [New York Times, 5/25/02] Despite this carefree attitude, when Bush spent the night in Sarasota, Florida, the night before the 9/11 attacks, surface-to-air missiles were placed on the roof of the resort where he was staying. [Sarasota Herald-Tribune, 9/10/02] Presumably the presence of fighters in August and surface-to-air missiles protecting Bush that night were hardly typical security procedures.
On vacation or business at the ranch.
In either case misapplied malfeasance.

Hannity feed his sycophant viewers with, " living larger than anybody I have ever seen."  It doesn't take much to see the hyperbole and propagandizing in that statement.
