As Trump's World Turns: Black Monthly Jobs Numbers ("Fake News")

Defending Against Alleged Use Of "N" World Leads To Press Sec'y SNAFU

Watch and listen as the White House Communications department either shows its level of utter incompetence, or the communications operatives sought to pepper its supporters and uninformed independents with false jobs numbers. The numbers feed to the Press Corp via Press Secretary Sanders were on first hearing farcically inaccurate while defying logic.

The numbers Sanders spewed were offered to offset allegations Trump is on tape using the "N" Word. Why would a denial of use of a guttural disparaging word require staking the platform with comments to assuage (allay or palliate) the psyches of listeners? The effort failed miserably and in accordance with other serious Trump Administration communications SNAFU.

We offer the full segment (question and response) from the CNN reporter, as well as a shortened version for additional clarity.  What follows adds to the reality of Trump's talking heads reaching back to the previous administration for punching bag comparisons.

Within mere hours Sanders appeared on Twitter to apologize for issuing "fake news."

Correction from today’s briefing: Jobs numbers for Pres Trump and Pres Obama were correct, but the time frame for Pres Obama wasn’t. I’m sorry for the mistake, but no apologies for the 700,000 jobs for African Americans created under President Trump

As we fold yet another episode of Trump "fake news" into US History it is important to recall and remember a key point. Trump recently hired a former Fox News executive, Bill Shine, to run his communications Department and serve as an adviser. As a Fox News top executive, we posit information from the White House will take on edges which fuzzy reality so much, we can expect more such apologies. While the Trump team disdains the apology, the words are unavoidable when issued to address failures in Communications 101 (check and recheck reportable data when possible). If the data is unverifiable, do not use the data.

But, in the Fox News world, it is much more easy and effective to as for forgiveness then pass on an opportunity to pepper viewers with false reports.

Market Watch published a piece this past April which effectively shows Shine's former network has issues with bias and reliable reporting.  Excellent read but includes one chart which requires a bit of discernment (the word use triangle).

Fox News is less trusted than CNN and MSNBC, Fox News graphic shows

Shouldn't the nation expect better from the White House?

As Trump's World Turns: "Leadership", Zero Tolerance, YOU GOV, Fact Check,

Image result for poor leadership quotes

A pure leadership void.  Your GOP vote embodied in one meme.
Image may contain: one or more people and text

It is a pathetic reality with Trump and it has repeatedly happened since January 2017.

Zero Tolerance (POLITICO)

Various media are reporting Trump now regrets signing the Executive Order to address family separation. How erratic and impetuous? Such leadership kills organizations (and in our case a nation).

MSNBC recently ran a segment with three graphics from a CBS/You Gov survey. Our screenshots are posted below.

Do you see why Trump is expressing regret for signing the Executive Order?  Imagine the flak he is catching form his inner circle which may include some of his offspring and flak from many GOP Congressional who represent that people whose personal opinions is reflected in the YOU GOV survey.  Yes, Americans most ugly chapter in many decades is rooted and nourished in conservative America en mass. Fear of a browning nation, an aversion of all matters non-white, xenophobia and other socials ailments among conservatives is the problem.

Pew Research published a piece which indicates immigration to the US is on the decline as part of its Five Facts about illegal immigration.

How does Trump associate and from brief campaign manager feel about being confronted with tragic stores about family separation? His comment embodies the essence of Trumpism.

Another example of leadership.

Yesterday, we published this piece.  This morning Trump goes completely childish with one of his many morning tweets. I do not recall reading any articles or reports of Trump having visited the Red Hen restaurant. Did he dispatch an inspection crew to visit the establishment?

If all of that is true, why would Huckabee Sanders wish to eat at the Red Hen?  No, Trump used the tweet to feed his herds of sycophants. Any rational person should wonder if it is legal for elected officials to publicly criticize a business as such.

Image may contain: 1 person, textIf the answer to the previous question is "Yes", is it possible a president elected (only via the "Leadership", Zero Tolerance, YOU GOV,  Fact Check, and not duly elected via the people) is excluded from the law?

New York Magazine commented on Trump's attack on the tiny restaurant. NYMAG.

Of course, we have to visit with Trump's Impromptu presser of last week.  MSNBC's Katy Tur fact-checked 19 untruths (lies) from 45 (via The Raw Story).  The nation's 45th and the truth, or an inability to speak truthfully.

On another front..... Take a peep and listen to an example of out-of-the-closet: xenophobia (racism).

Ugly, eh?

Leadership? Well, it is a matter of perspective until the lack thereof fails the people and the nation.

As Trump World Turns: Roseanne Barr Joins Others In The Abyss

No, This Medication Does Not Cause Overt Racist Acts Image result for barr ambien It Is A Sleep Aid

Trump's world rarely turns without shadows of racism.
Let's refresh.

Roseanne Barr, documented racist and anti-Semite, worked a few weeks on ABC with a new and popular show. The show was bantered around by Donald Trump in self-serving efficacy and millions tuned-in for Trump supporting the weekly dose of bigotry. The show was in some quirky ways akin to All in The Family (Archie Bunker fame), with a twist and during a time when American bigotry and racism is on the rise. All supported by a president whose family (father) had roots in New York City Ku Klux Klan. If not an active member, Trump's father was most assuredly an active supporter. A dynamic which means Trump was raised in a household in which white supremacy was the norm and a desired way of life.

The nation should feel no surprise or contempt for Trump as he is without question shows inclinations which foster racism. Don Lemon really shouldn't have expected a statement from Trump. No, Trump would wait until after his Tennessee rally to publish a statement via his favorite media: Twitter.

At 2:45 AM two days ago Barr was awake and feeling her oats regarding American conservatism. Maybe she felt it was time to pepper her twitter following bigots (those who follow in support and those who worship celebrity)) with feed to satisfy their ravishing need to hate people of color.  She went beyond the standard offering by offering her followers a bit of a dessert: disparaging remarks towards the Islamic faith. Oh, the hordes would be happy and she may have felt hundreds of thousands of re-tweets. She went here.

Valerie Jarrett. The object of scorn for being born to Black and middle-Eastern parents.  Obama adviser and longtime friend.

The reason for Barr's attack on Jarrett is of no significance. The depth and scope of her racist tweet should be an item of scorn, an item of study and an item used for social interventions against Trumpism (racism, bigotry, intolerance et al).

Here is Trump belated response. Do you notice anything that surprises you?

Bob Iger of ABC called Valerie Jarrett to let her know that “ABC does not tolerate comments like those” made by Roseanne Barr. Gee, he never called President Donald J. Trump to apologize for the HORRIBLE statements made and said about me on ABC. Maybe I just didn’t get the call?
11:31 AM - May 30, 2018
And how did Trump equip his number one presstitute for the Daily Briefing? Notice the virtual reading of Trump's statement.

Is there any way to describe that portion of the briefing other than pathetic, self-centered and over-flowing with poor taste.  A black woman who formerly served a US President on a daily basis, was referred to as an Ape, and Trump can find no decency to criticize Barr?

ABC did the right thing. After watching over-the-top American racism for eight full years and watching as it is metastasizing in a much more overt manner during Trump's time on the US political stage, some US entities must stand tall.

Remember these?

I do not recall citizen Trump even once offer content for such exhibitions.

Barr?

She reappeared on Wednesday afternoon with yet another exhibition of "I am not a racist" from conservatives caught with racism covering them like white icing on an angel cake.

I'm not a racist, I never was & I never will be. One stupid joke in a lifetime of fighting 4 civil rights 4 all minorities, against networks, studios, at the expense of my nervous system/family/wealth will NEVER b taken from me.2:21 PM - May 30, 2018
Racist?   A word born of divisions in humankind enabled via differences in skin color, culture, and beliefs.

rac·ist
ˈrāsəst/

noun

1.

a person who shows or feels discrimination or prejudice against people of other races, or who believes that a particular race is superior to another.
"the comments have led to her being called a racist"
synonyms:racial bigot, racialist, xenophobe, chauvinistsupremacist More

adjective

1.

showing or feeling discrimination or prejudice against people of other races, or believing that a particular race is superior to another.
"we are investigating complaints about racist abuse at the club"

No matter the 'cut',  Barr served up a slab of racism befitting life in the US under Trump.

While the next question is rhetorical, it is worthy of a bit of thought:  Why not stand with one's racism instead of blurting out injections (to the world) without thought of repercussions or harm to the subjects of one's racist act?  If the answer to the question is obvious, so be it. But how about going where Barr went this morning.  Barr avoided the common conservative phraseology. "inarticulate." But, she dove deep into an abyss where many Trump celebrity supporters seem to live the domain of the incredibly ridiculous.
excerpt
She tweeted, "guys I did something unforgiveable so do not defend me. It was 2 in the morning and I was ambien tweeting -- it was memorial day too -- i went 2 far & do not want it defended -- it was egregious Indefensible. I made a mistake I wish I hadn't but...don't defend it please."
She cited Ambien again in a later tweet, saying, "Not giving excuses for what I did(tweeted) but I've done weird stuff while on ambien -- cracked eggs on the wall at 2am etc."
Oddly, she later deleted all of her references to the medication.
Ambien?

Of course, Barr deleted the tweet but think of the reaction of those who saw and read the tweet before it was deleted.  Imagine if the reader was an infrequent or frequent Ambien user? As non-Ambien users in the past 20 years, I do not recall one television commercial or radio ad with a two-minute side effects disclosures which included Ambien could induce over acts of racism in the no racist.

The manufacturer of the sleep aid responded in a most appropriate manner.
Sanofi, the maker of Ambien, responded with a statement full of shade: "While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication."
People of all races, religions and nationalities work at Sanofi every day to improve the lives of people around the world. While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication.

Trumps Presstitutes, Polls And Demagogues

Image may contain: 1 person
How many professional talking heads would allow this to become part of the camera archive? Stage presence and awareness helps with credibility.

Did Trump's White House Press Secretary actually appear on ABC news (this morning) and use Rassmussen daily polling as a tool to facilitate a comment about Trump's job approval. Moreover, she may have also used Rassmussens polling data for that ever-present conservative reach to compare against former President Obama' ratings during the same period.

The idiotic non-credible assertion comes near the 4:43-minute mark of the following video. It is important to keep in mind, Huckabee's number one viewer is Donald Trump himself. Every word she utters is either blessed by Trump or spoken to pleases the narcissistic president.

In 2016, Five-Thirty Eight ran an exhaustive list of national political polling and data based indications of the poll's political lean (red and blue bars to the far right of the poll table). 2016 Five Thirty-Eight Poll, here. Of course, Rassmussen was shown to be one of the most conservative-leaning polls.

Huckabee echoed early April comments from her boss.

Thank you to Rasmussen for the honest polling. Just hit 50%, which is higher than Cheatin’ Obama at the same time in his Administration. 6:08 AM - 3 Apr 2018
In early April Rassmussen did show Trump's approval rating at 50% and during the same period in 2010 Obama's rating via Rassmussen.was 46 percent. Fair as long as readers and listeners consider the real story of Rassmussen. The poling authority is a right-wing major leaning poll and it is reported Scott Rassmussen is a Trump supporter with a history of total contempt for then President Obama.

The Washington Post on April 3rd offered a good analysis of Trump's polling mantra with a few critical words regarding Rassmussen.

Now take a look at how Huckabee Sanders boss used her comments (probably inserted by Trump and his team) as a basis to feed daily Twitter fodder to his ravishing hordes of supporters

Just hit 50% in the Rasmussen Poll, much higher than President Obama at same point. With all of the phony stories and Fake News, it’s hard to believe! Thank you America, we are doing Great Things. 10:44 AM - Apr 15, 2018
All presidential and gubernatorial administrations employ layers upon layers of information purveyors. Political leaning Right and Left join in a form of Venn Diagram when their mission is promulgating information and disseminating "friendly or influencing" propaganda. The only difference in the messages is the ultimate impact of the message.

Follow the quotes below to see how messaging and communications has left a scar on the history of humankind.

"If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it, and you will even come to believe it yourself."
"There was no point in seeking to convert the intellectuals. For intellectuals would never be converted and would anyway always yield to the **er, and this will always be "the man in the street." Arguments must therefore be crude, clear and forcible, and appeal to emotions and instincts, not the intellect. Truth was unimportant and entirely subordinate to tactics and psychology."
"Propaganda works best when those who are being manipulated  are confident they are acting on their own free will."
"Propaganda must facilitate the displacement of aggression by specifying the targets for hatred."
"...the rank and file are usually much more primitive than we imagine. Propaganda must therefore always be essentially simple and repetitious."
"The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly - it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over."
"It is the absolute right of the State to supervise the formation of public opinion."
"We shall reach our goal, when we have the power to laugh as we destroy, as we smash, whatever was sacred to us as tradition, as education, and as human affection."
*All* quotes from Joseph Goebbels, Minister of Propaganda for Adolph Hitler
There isn't an administration in modern US history which needs and employs demagogue presstitutes compared to Trump's purveyors. From the former Press Secretary, Sean Spicer, through the current Huckabee Sanders and all employees of the White House Communications Office as well as a cadre of television and radio operatives, Trump's "presstitute "  payroll has to be over-the-top.

Presstitute (Dictionary dot com)
noun,
Slang: Disparaging.
1.a journalist or media source whose news coverage is considered to be inappropriately influenced by business interests, political motives, etc.
If you need another level of presstitute, how about one who formerly worked for Ted Cruz during the 2016 primary campaigns and who disparage Trump-like no other. Watch Kellyanne Conway in the following very brief Now and Then demagoguery.

After the Trump than and the Trump now oratory, watch As CNN's Chris Cuomo attempted to interview the former Ted Cruz talking head about matters related to Trump and Asst. DOJ Head Rosenstein.   The interview is a long view, but as I always state being an HIV (high Information voter) is work.

Presstitues...ugh!
