Keystone XL And A Senate Energy Bill Killed By The GOP

Senate Republicans (select Democrats) kill an energy bill passed expeditiously through the US House. THE TEA PARTY LADEN US HOUSE PASSED THE BILL!  It is important to know the GOP attempted to attach approval of the Keystone Pipeline to the bill.

If you are not aware of the nuances of the Keystone Pipeline, you are relegating yourself to the world of the LIV: the Low Information Voter.

I will spare the wealth of information previously posted on the site.  Instead, I offer a couple of cogent and very relevant MSNBC segments. It is important to say the Keystone Pipeline is a tool to transport oil derivatives to international markets. Is not a project that will assist in energy independence for the United states. The US has moved to one of the world's most prolific developers of oil derivatives and with the horrific advent of Hydraulic FRACKING, is a world leader in energy development.

Moreover, the Keystone XL Pipeline has a long-term jobs impact that the level of 35 jobs!

One last point.  The Koch Brothers one significant land holdings in Alberta Canada. The land is each with oil deviates that will transport via the Keystone XL Pipeline. The following Washington Post headlines tells the story on GOP drive to build the XL Pipeline:

"The biggest foreign lease holder in Canada’s oil sands isn’t Exxon Mobil or Chevron. It’s the Koch brothers."
If you have any degree of deductive reasoning, you are well equipped to follow the logic.  If the Koch's own 1/1 million acres in tar sand laden Alberta Canada and the Kochs are staunch Libertarian conservatives (with $80 billion collectively), is it a leap to recognize the potential for anyone (politician or greedy pundit) willing and able to assist in development of the pipeline?

Why give the Kochs and Canada opportunity to make more billions, while you and me take the risks? Remember, BP has declared no more money to revitalize the Gulf of Mexico and that is within five years of killing an eco-system.
