The Daily Banter And Fox News' Pirro Rant (VIDEO)

I deliver news for Fox News!
I do not watch Fox News. As a craven news geek, I have no problems avoiding the network as it is in no way a news network. Since you already know my thoughts about the network as the television propaganda department for the GOP, there is no need to rehash that. The manner in which Fox News feeds its dedicated viewers is noteworthy.

People who spend time receiving messages from Fox News are not expending those viewing hours for information. They sit and absorb "paradigm feed" like being "slopped' by a hog farmer to her/his hog pens. And, Fox News delivers.

How many times have you run across a Fox News video segment and noticed each segment has a few things in common? My reference is to host on camera demeanor, not the Fox News Anti-Obama message; a message focused 24/7 on Obama Derangement Syndrome (ODS).

First, the raised eye-brows and glaring eyes while delivering the core message. As if the host is saying, "Here it comes folks, now open wide while I feed you another spoon of slop."

Next, the raised voiceThe message has to be yelled into the brains of Fox News viewers as the message must permeate "tin foil" hats. Yelling also placates the psyches of those who tune-in for fresh "red meat." Network producers and writers are fully aware of the power of viewer high-fives in living rooms across the nation. Have you ever viewed a dull sporting event? Did you see any high fives?

The message has to also reach the Fox News audience with commensurate vocabulary. When delivering the message to Fox News viewers, Fox writers avoid use of multi-syllable words. If a script could be enhanced with a word beyond the level of eight-grade education, the Fox writers avoid such words.

Another delivery technique....delivery of messages to the invisible subject who's picture is affixed to the Fox set camera; as if the subject is watching the show.

Finally, the finger pointing (O'Reilly central). Let's face it, if you want to be successful over on Fox, you must emulate host with the major audience numbers. How else to feed the sycophants?

Fox and other noted wide mouth finger pointers.

Common DemeanorConsistent Message

Since O'Reilly's antics are well known, and Alex Jones falling for Piers Morgan's baiting received word-wide attention, and Jennifer Stefano's Jerry Springer Show like "go-off on MSNBC is also well document, let's move to a former TV personality turned Fox News entertainer.

The following deck and excerpt from The Daily Banter is a must read about a recent broadcast with host Jeanine Pirro. In case time doesn't permit, I have inserted a YouTube video from the piece along with a an item from Bob Cesca's list of Pirro’s ridiculousness. Cesca also addressed new mantra from certain right-wing demagogues. Dick Cheney and Liz Cheney recently mentioned a 60% increase in terrorist attacks.
(Jeanine) Pirro’s five-minute tirade had everything: finger-wagging, fear-mongering, misinformation, wild conspiracy theories, the phrase “cut and run” and, naturally, ball-shaming. It’s a cocktail of Obama Derangement Syndrome delivered with laser-like precision directly into the outrage cortexes of typical Fox News viewers, likely inducing octogenarian white-guy erections with tensile strengths not experienced since Don Ameche, Wilford Brimley and Hume Cronyn splashed around in that magical pool in Cocoon.
4) As if Obama was watching her ridiculous show. Next, Pirro shifted into addressing the president directly.
“Now, Mr. President, you may see yourself as a war hero. The truth? There has been a 60 percent increase in radical Islamist terrorism since you’ve been in office.”
It’s unclear which study she was talking about, but the only report we could find that involves a 60 percent increase in terrorist attacks had to do with North Africa, and the increase wasn’t overall for the years 2009-2014, it was from 2013 when there was a 60 percent increase over 2012. If we look at the overall post-9/11 trend for that region, the biggest increase took place between 2001 and 2009 under a different president. Furthermore, other than in 2013, terrorist attacks declined in North Africa from 2009 to 2012. This can’t really be attributed to Obama, but if we’re talking about blaming Obama for the spike in 2013, then he deserves credit for the decline as well, right?
north_africa_attacks
There’s another study by RAND which was recently cited by the always trustworthy Dick Cheney which showed a 60 percent increase in terrorists groups — not terrorism. The study also indicated that this increase was due to weakened governments in the nations where the terrorist groups are forming.

Effective delivery ODS to Fox viewers is easily accomplished. When viewers tune-in to Fox with an anti-Obama paradigm that verges on seething, proper deliver requires nothing more than a mix of the non- verbals as posted above, outright, lies, fodder from The Drudge Report, and creative writers. Fox host are seasoned and highly compensated personalities who should be required to secure licensing from the same licensing authority as the WWE: The Screen Actors Guild.

Bob Bergdahl Reported To Be A Republican And Reports Of Tea Party Death Threats

Wouldn't you know it?

How often have we seen it?

It is almost like knowing the Godzilla Monster is out there and knowing it will never chase you down.

It is like Fox News enthroning Cliven Bundy until he let lose with his inner core of  ignorance and racism. (The Bundy analogy relates to Fox News magnetizing for Obama hatred. The comment does not relate to Bundy's racism; it relates to the Bergdahl family as victims.)

How much deductive reasoning was necessary to come to a fairly comfortable conclusion as follows: Bob Bergdahl is a Republican?

The Bergdahl family lives in Idaho and young Bergdahl was raised in the state.

Most "Red States"....

While we cannot posit all voting age Idahoans are conservative voters and probably registered Republican. We can be make the case based on knowledge of US politics and social idioms, conservative ideology and political affiliation may very well dominate.

Could the Bob Bergdahl beard exist as  the increasingly common exhibition of the Duck Dynasty reality show, in addition to only serve as his personal "yellow ribbon" regarding his son? Granted, he commenced his facial cover growth well before Duck Dynasty grabbed the psyche of millions across the nation. All said, the beard could denote an affinity for the same ideology exhibited via the "Bayou Bigots" the Duck Dynasty crew.

Conservative and Fox News attacks on his son and his family as surrogate victims for Obama Derangement Syndrome (ODS) shouldn't come as a surprise. Yes, the GOP and American conservatives metaphorically " eat their young."

If you think my metaphor is harsh, checkout a piece published this morning by Americans Against The Tea Party (AATP). The words "Tea Party" and "Taliban" in the same sentence and with the same net-net prospect of perpetrating 'death.' The horror!

He’s being called a Muslim, a traitor and a Taliban sympathizer, and getting threats because of conservative anger about the deal made for the release of his son. As it turns out, Bob Bergdahl is a Republican. The Daily Beast reported: In June 2010…

Megyn Kelly Follows James O'Keefe To The Wood Shed!

You and me are aware of the Fox News mission: Provide media support for GOP obstruction against the administration, nurture and facilitate an undercurrent of white privilege and provide fodder for Obama Derangement Syndrome (ODS).

Fox News evening show host are the kings and queens of right-wing propaganda and social divisiveness. They actually rival Rush Limbaugh as GOP ideology leaders. Bill O'Reilly, Megyn Kelly and the recently re-time slotted Sean Hannity ideology leaders never miss an opportunity.

Let's focus for a few minutes on a Fox News host who is rapidly developing into a propagandist of the highest order. Megyn Kelly will say anything, pass-on any lie, and feed viewers who long for validation of white privilege almost equal to O'Reilly. I have posted a recent segment from "The Kelly File," but first let's revisit Kelly's credibility and service to Fox News and its viewers.

O'Reilly guides the accommodating Kelly through a disgusting depiction of pepper-sprayed protesters. Kelly actually commented "pepper-spray is basically a food product."

http://mediamatters.org/video/2011/11/21/foxs-megyn-kelly-......

Kelly on December 12, 2013, sat with a panel of white guest and took Fox News racism and white privilege to a level comparable to a filthy street gutter: "white Santa, white Jesus."

http://www.slate.com/blogs/browbeat/2013/12/12/santa_claus_white_....

After taking the next business day off and after spanning a weekend, Fox New managers, producers and writers sent Kelly back before the camera with as the most asinine response to flake associated with "white Santa." The first and most ridiculous is Kelly feigning "kids" among her viewers. The show runs at 10:00PM Eastern Time; it is also probably not preferred viewing for kids who cherish the thoughts of Santa Claus.

Kelly and Fox News staff attempted to lay their "red meat" to the "white Santa" viewers via claiming "lighted heartedness." Yet, the ultimate of insult to anyone who is not a Fox New sycophant, was Kelly's brazen declaration of "the powerful Fox News!"

The Kelly response was in many ways more vile than her racist proclamation just before Christmas Day 2013. "The powerful Fox News!" Joseph Goebbels Ministry of Communication was also "all powerful." We considered reprehensible Kelly and Fox News management's decision to avoid the frequently used Sean Hannity's apology for using false information.

Alas cloning Hannity's all too frequent 'fess-ups' would have left Fox News bare to its writhing viewers. And, that of course, would have been unacceptable. "kids watching a news show at 10:00PM, false humor and "all powerful" proclamation much better fit the business model of the propagandists.

Fox News never ceases with its exhibition of pure ineptitude and failure to vet stories. One would think before airing video from one James O'Keefe, Fox would ask a few more questions. Of course, I supposition Fox News cares about veracity and credibility before its support role to the GOP and conservative America.

" O'Keefe and the "Welfare Pimp" crew
Scantily clad Giles admitted lies, here.
O'Keefe and crew (mug shots) after caught attempting to plant a "bug in Mary Landrieu's (D) LA.  Office

Both Giles and O'Keefe later admitted to lying, false representation of his "pimp and hooker" routine and in 2013 settled with a victim of their ruse. The victim was fired from his job with ACORN. While O'Keefe past escapades are secondary to to what's to come below, we offer a contrast from Fox News and O'Keefe: Rachel Maddow revealing O'Keefe never appeared as a pimp with hooker in tow.

Last week Megyn Kelly excitedly fed her viewers pure red meat bundled in yet another James O'Keefe operation.  I have a hard time not believing Fox News doesn't pay O'Keefe for his surreptitious escapades.

Now for the real story from a potential victim of the prank call. A story from an intellectual and evidence of Fox News as a cesspool of false information and propaganda.

Maddow, Hayes, Kornacki and O'Donnell Perform Stellar Investigation And Analysis

Anyone who reads here probably is aware of "Bridgegate" and MSNBC's delivery of stellar news, investigation and deep analysis on Chris Christe's "Bridgegate" scandal. Yes, the matter is a scandal and it is proving to be more and more a major scandal as the days past. We should also fairly state a fact regarding the coverage. MSNBC coverage while stellar is probably influenced by Christe's past behavior and a "proud tough guy/bully" and, frankly, his leading the pack as a GOP candidate for the 2016 GOP presidential ticket. Nonetheless, MSNBC did not order the GWB lane closure and MSNBC has not immersed in a post closing (and front page coverage) Cover-up.

Mediate reporting on last weeks News show ratings reveals million across the nation are interested in "Bridgegate" and what is turning into validation of a classic cover-up.

The ratings are indications of viewer preference for news shows during a narrowly defined period, shows and show host, but it takes exercise of mental process to see Christe's troubles are the guiding light to those ratings. Ultimately, news stories and the quality of coverage also matters.  Viewer ratings indicate to us, people are not buying Christe's discombobulated defense of what seems to be a crumbling cover-up.

MSNBC coverage last night was without equivocation stellar and revealing.  If you saw the segments, there is not need for a repeat run.  Unless, you find the story as intriguing a cover-up as anything cover-up perpetrated by Richard Nixon or Ronald Reagan. We at the TPI find the following broadcast evidence of what we once expected and received from investigatory new sources like 60 Minutes (Prior to the hire of David Rhodes of Fox News), The broadcast stories also remind of investigation and analysis as thorough as the work of Woodward and Bernstein during the Nixon Watergate Scandal.

The segments are a bit long, but you know our credo on the length of MSNBC broadcast segments. High-information people find time to soak-up information that differentiates from the LIVs (Low-information voters/people) who watch other cable networks that focus on Obama Derangement Syndrome (ODS).

Lawrence O'Donnell conducted a spirited and seeming 'dead-on" segment related to Christe's (Now" Claim he will cooperate with authorities in "Bridgegate" Investigations.

As indicated by O'Donnell and his panel guest, we feel Chrsite remains surrounded by people who have a vested interest in putting "Bridegate" deep into the rear-view mirror.

We also wonder which of the insiders will seek the protection of "The Fifth Amendment" to avoid possible convictions of felonies, jail-time or career damaging resumes.

New York Times Benghazi Report and Conservative Chagrin!

Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi!  Almost reads like that always just under the surface conservative chant, "USA, USA, USA."

When embassies are attacked, the responsibility is shared and not the fault of only one or two people. The real tragedy after getting past hostage taking and death is the horror of political operatives and right-wing media in turning such attacks into political mantra.

Adam Serwer, Mother Jones, published a piece about attacks on US embassies and consulates on October 2nd, 2012. If you recall just before the 2012 General Election and one month before Serwer's piece, the US consulate in Libya was attacked by armed attackers.

The nation was beset with congressional committee hearings that, in many cases, provided opportunity for the GOP to slam the Obama Administration and offered opportunity to strategically take shots at a future presidential candidate: Hillary Clinton.

The attacks on Clinton as, then Secretary of State during the Benghazi crisis, were unyielding and frankly, way over-the-top.  If you watched any news over the past couple of years you have seen the following outburst of frustration from Clinton. We at the TPI did not find the outburst indicative of a seasoned professional and politician, but that is a matter for another time. Nonetheless, here it is...

The ultimate of self-aggrandizing and political phoniness:

Rand Paul
http://youtu.be/6fG6XNIwBaY

"....If I were president....."

As the GOP rambled along with a self-anointed political "gotcha", professional journalist like Serwer went about the business of accurate portrayal of US Embassy tragedies since 1970. The following excepts from the Serwer piece places embassy, consulate and foreign service tragedies in perspective.

"High-profile targets like ambassadors have always been in danger because they're the symbol of the United States," Chamberlin says. "What you don't want to represent is that you distrust the people, that you don't want to engage with the people, that you hate being there. It's an important part of your mission and get out and mix with the population." Moreover, under the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations it is actually the host country that is responsible for the security of diplomatic facilities, not the Marines. The primary responsibility of the Marine Corps' Embassy Security Group states that its "primary mission" is "to prevent the compromise of classified material vital to the national security of the United States," while their "secondary mission" is to "provide protection for US citizens and US government property" during "exigent circumstances." Their first responsibility is to guard secrets, not diplomats.

Serwer also published a graph with graphic illustration of the many attacks on US foreign service professionals. Unfortunately the graph excludes Benghazi, but the illustration is in pure numbers and Bengali would simply add a bar for 2012.

Of course, Fox News and every GOP pundit who could still breathe leveraged Benghazi as comparable to a  "Rebel Yell" (pun unintended).

The 60 Minutes segment was such well crafted fakery, Fox News "Benghazi'd" throughout the following three weeks. When Fox reaches for Obama Derangement Syndrome (ODS) from a network Fox Normally refers to as "mainstream  media", you must know Fox producers felt they had a "goody." A real goody treat for their seething and blood thirsty Obama haters!

Within a couple of years, the ever-opportunistic CBS (via the once credible 60 Minutes) broadcast a historic and shameful example of television journalism that rivaled frequent broadcast propaganda from Fox News. It should be noted in 2011 CBS executive management hired David Rhodes, a former Fox News executive, to head the CBS news division.

We need not explore that reality farther as it implications are clear and probably manifest in the 60 Minutes segment

By chance do you recall Fox reports as the 60 Minutes fiasco went south (excuse the pun)?

Years later a definitive Benghazi report has been released by the New York Times (NYT) revealed Benghazi was not perpetrated by groups the US would classically consider Al Qaeda.

Can you imagine what the NYT report does to a staple in the GOP political "playbook?" If you can imagine the impact on the GOP, take another foray into your gray matter for impact on Fox News!

If you need the visuals, here are.

Bill  O'Reilly
http://bcove.me/m9emh037

You didn't have to delve too deep in your gray matter for the visuals, did you?

Let's close with  a much more cerebral segment related to the NYT report. The piece is admittedly biased, but undeniable in placing Benghazi in true perspective.
