President Obama Moves Into 2016 (Video)

As I watched the GOP debate circus replete with enough President Obama hatred to run through the end of the I could not help, but reflect on a nation mired a Bush aftermath circa January 2009.  Since I assume you are aware of the economic condition of the nation and the cesspool of war prisoner tortures across the globe, the need to rehash such is not necessary.  Reflection is in order and it comes in various ways.

While recently tooling around Facebook, The following less than one-minute video piece caught my attention while inducing yet another Obama epiphany.  Click the link, here.

Again there is no need to rehash seven years of Obama accomplishments.  However, I have linked (here) a list of accomplishments from the PCTC Blog. Milt Shook, PCTC, offers a long list and an exhaustive record of taking the US above water from a veritable Bush drowning.  We  offer a much more concise list of accomplishments from 2015 alone.

Summary:
President Obama's top 10 things that happened in 2015 that should make every American optimistic about 2016.
In this week's address, the President celebrated the end of the year tradition of list-making with a year-in-review list of his own. The President offered his roundup of the top 10 things that happened in 2015, all of which should make us optimistic about the prospects for 2016. This past year has been one where we’ve seen unprecedented progress in areas ranging from the Iran deal to marriage equality to concluding a historic trade agreement.

The year 2015 brought economic growth, with our unemployment rate dropping to five percent; the normalization of our relations with Cuba and a newly opened U.S. Embassy in Havana; and a historic agreement in Paris to take real action on climate change. The President acknowledged the significant progress of the past year, and looked forward to 2016 and all we have yet to accomplish.

Obama: What Has He Done For The Nation? Lies Vs.Accomplishmentas

The following charts show the Right is lying about Obama's spending, deficit and jobs.

Political Wrinkles Dot Com

Chart 1: Obama's spending doesn't even come close to Bush 43.

Chart 2: Obama actually reduced the deficit more than Bush.

Chart 3: Obama created more jobs than Bush.

The facts don't lie. Read'em and weep, right wing liars!

"What has Obama done for us?"

A question that will not rest despite formidable data of an administration second to none in US History (for the standpoint of programs and legislation for the good of people).

I generally referthose folks to this link. For point of progress and perspective, I refer them to the another link,  that is over 9 months older.

If they visit the links and if they read any of the president's accomplishments, I often hear little else. Well, I hear nothing from the "mantra deliverers" until their next dose from Fox News.

After their visit to Fox News, a good place to send them is here.  You will notice the site has language they may feel comfortable in reading and speaking as they view the interactive information.

Barack H. Obama: 44th President & Commander-In-Chief, 212 Accomplishments (PCTC Blog)

Last year posted with permission a post from the PCTC Blog, The following is a link to the latest update. We have posted the blog here. We highly encourage all due credit go to the developer of the PCTC Blog for the enormous amount of work involved in updating this archive.  We have little doubt the archive will become a major historic piece as President Obama moves out of the Oval Office and into US History, (Please Cut The Crap).

Let's counter all of the media "whoa is us" talk about the Obama Administration.  I heard Michael Steele, former RNC Chair, today speak about how President Obama 'blew" the gun control (Senate vote) issue. Steele went on to say that Obama does not use the bully pulpit.

"Does not use the bully pulpit!"  Since before Obama took office the GOP has plotted against him, and the nation, at every turn and on each occasion. Prior to the Steele comment, the following video segment ensued. The extracted segment places all negative remarks about our president in perspective.
