RNC Chair Talking Head Blues

Image result for RNC CHAIRFormer FBI director Jim Comey is about to publish a book about his demise  (or experience) under the persecution of Donald Trump. While the book is due to hit the Internet and bookshelves this coming Tuesday, copies have been given to media. Apparently, the Trump Administration also has a copy or copies because the spin machine and the counter the book talking points are flying like Trump's combover while boarding Air Force One.

If you missed a recent CNN interview of the current RNC Chairperson you missed a class talking head fumble. She commented about the phoniness of Comey's book despite not having read even a passage from the book. classic talking memo promulgation. (video below)

The Daily GOP Ignominious: GOP 2016: Debate Fade, Trump Racism and Bigotry, Ann Coulter's Utter Disgust

We will start with piece with a couple of short visits on matters emanating from the recent GOP Debate. Bernie Sanders responded to question about his perception of parts of the debate  and we visit with debate stage lies about the Iran Nuclear Deal.

"It was and is all about Obama!"

The Evolving Uncloaking of the Underbelly of Racism and Bigotry that affixes with Trump

Do you recall after the resounding congressional defeats of the 2012 mid-term elections RNC Chair, Reince Priebus, proclaiming a need to perform an autopsy of what went wrong? The autopsy (more aptly referred to as a lobotomy, since an autopsy denotes after death medical examiner procedures) was completed in 2013 with much fanfare from the RNC chair. ABC News reported in march 2013 as follows: (Highlights via The Pardu)

The report, called the "Growth and Opportunity Project," lays out an extensive plan the RNC believes will lead the party to victory with an extensive outreach to women, African-American, Asian, Hispanic and gay voters. Among the plans: hiring paid outreach staffers across the country in a $10 million push that begins right away; backing "comprehensive immigration reform"; abbreviating the presidential primary process with fewer debates, specifically saying the party would like at least half the 20 there were during the 2012 cycle; and moving the convention to June or July, as well as improving the data and digital effort.
Priebus noted that the party's policies are fundamentally sound but require a softer tone and broader outreach, include a stronger push for African-American, Latino, Asian, women and gay voters.
"To be clear, our principles our sound, our principles are not old rusty thoughts in some book," Priebus said, but the "report notes the way we communicate our principles isn't resonating widely enough."
Priebus added: "I think our policies are sound, but I think in many ways the way we communicate can be a real problem."
The report also specifically states that there needs to be more inclusion. "We need to campaign among Hispanic, black, Asian, and gay Americans and demonstrate we care about them, too. We must recruit more candidates who come from minority communities. But it is not just tone that counts. Policy always matters."

In just a little of two years post the Growth and Opportunity Project the GOP and conservative American have flushed Priebus naivety and false promise down the proverbial drain.  In Mid-June now front running candidate for the GOP 2016 nomination went here (The epitome of the time warn GOP southern strategy):  Trump went full racist.

From his June staking of his turf on behalf of the GOP in August we find this (eight seconds): Dallas rally with "White Power."

As David Duke has indicate support for Trump, we now move to this shameful act at Trumps afternoon rally. It should be noted Trump exemplified the level of class, I personal expect from a  GOP candidate and that level is nil.

Trump Townhall seething with conspiracy nuts, racists and Trump agrees with each vile remark.

Take a minute sixteen seconds and listen to complete and total validation of the GOP as the party of American racism and bigotry.

The RNC Chair Is The GOP Personified

Reince Priebus, RNC Chair, is ignominious in his message, his talking-points, his sad attempts to share reference examples, and generally out of his element when not on Fox News.

http://video.msnbc.msn.com/.....

Actually, once Priebus steps outside the realm of his paradigm(ed) party and outside the purview of people who are socially inclined to accept his rhetoric, he is effectively lost.

We will end this piece out of respect for a Sunday Morning and to avoid too early traipsing in disparaging remarks. Priebus certainly lends himself to a complete lexicon of disparaging remarks. Let's save them for another time.

Reince Priebus: The Perfect Functionary and Political Tightroper

Reince Priebus
Reinhold Reince Priebus is the Chairman of the Republican National Committee. Wikipedia

Priebus, Heilmann, Ford join Mika on the Morning Joe.

If you want to see the perfect example of a sniveling functionary and RNC operative, meet the current RNC Chair.

Would you like to see an underlying reason Preibus comes across as obtuse and only 'half-alive'.  He has marching orders and probably he has the most precarious position in US politics.
Here are his marching orders.
Dear Speaker Boehner and Leader Cantor:
For the first time, the activities of the Obama administration are receiving a sustained public vetting.  Americans’ outrage over Benghazi is amplified by the Internal Revenue Service’s intimidation of conservative grassroots organizations and a cascade of negative headlines.  There is the real sense the Obama administration has been less than forthright with the American people, the press and lawmakers.
Recent events have rightly focused the nation’s attention squarely on the actions of the Obama administration. It is incumbent upon the House of Representatives to conduct oversight hearings on those actions, but it would be imprudent to do anything that shifts the focus from the Obama administration to the ideological differences within the House Republican Conference.
To that end, we urge you to avoid bringing any legislation to the House Floor that could expose or highlight major schisms within the conference. Legislation such as the Internet sales tax or the FARRM Act which contains nearly $800 billion in food stamp spending, would give the press a reason to shift their attention away from the failures of the Obama administration to write another “circular firing squad” article.
Make no mistake, principled conservatives will still oppose bad policy if it comes to the floor.  Rather than scheduling such legislation for consideration, we urge you to keep the attention focused squarely on the Obama administration. As the public’s trust in their government continues to erode, it is incumbent upon those of us who support a smaller, less intrusive government to lead.
Sincerely,
Michael A. Needham Chief Executive Officer Heritage Action for America

If you feel the addresses on the letter is the extent to which the ultra conservative Heritage foundation spreads its orders, you are naive.

The Daily GOP Ignominious: Reince Priebus (VIDEO)

Reince Priebus is the perfect 'front man' for the Republican National Committee.   Preibus has the personality of a reptile, and he can match Mitt Romney on every turn when it comes to lying.

As you watch the CNN video below, notice Preibus spends moments snipping and snapping at the host instead of directly answering questions. He throws sarcasm around like some use humor.  Conservatives in our nation love the 'throw the first punch' demeanor of their heroes and representatives.   The behavior is very much child-like and indicative of hiding and agenda.

Soledad O'Brien posed a question that took an inordinate amount of time to get an answer  In fact, the host never received an answer.  Watch at the end of the interview "Uh Huh Sure".  when have you been around mature adults (Other than reality show entertainers who use that vernacular what is the point?  Does he think his child-like protestations will lead to O'Brien to run-off and dig up and opportunity to challenge the Obama campaign.

Why is it too much to hold and expectation of professionalism, maturity and honesty from the GOP?

The New GOP Talking Point: "Stole" (Medicare)

Is the word "stole" another strategy from the GOP bag of political tricks?   The following is  a 20 second video of the current RNC Chair. And, you and I thought Michael Steele was beyond ridiculous and over-the-top. An example of Steel and over-the-top... Do you remember Steel sitting on an MSNBC News show with Pat Buchanan to his right?  Steele  spoke of a ridiculous and factual incorrect false characterization that just abbot induced sickness sickness in Buchanan.  The then RNC Chair stated to the show host that the wearing of harts "caps" was done  one way in his part of the country but in the North East the "hat" was worn backwards.  Michael Steele is at least 60 years of age; surely he has grown past wearing a baseball cap backwards. I considered the specific MSNBC segment the interchange "GOP out-of-touch" and Micheal Steele buffoonery.

Steele failed as RNC Chair based on the false strategy associated with his election to the position: work towards the black vote and offset the impact of the black president.   The Party nominated Sarah Palin to capture disgruntled Hillary Clinton supporters and the party elected Steele for very obvious reason. Despite his mistaken impression of his selection (tee-toddle to  African-American voters) and associated buffoonery, in addition to his marked accommodating leaders, his mission was not accomplished.  Of course, his mission was doomed from the start, as the GOP will never appeal to Americans on a basis of diversity. The very thought of a GOP appealing to ethnically diverse voters is an oxymoron. Steele was also an administrative failure, but he was not a hardcore GOP operative replete with all symptoms of what I call, "GOPISM Circa 2000 and Beyond".

Steele was not a gutter dwelling, sniveling talking-points machine.  If you will take a moment to view the quick video, you will see the  archetypal "GOPISM Circa 2000 and Beyond" RNC Chair.  Reince Preibus is referring to Medicare, as he spews venom. The venom is easily disputed, thus ultimately ineffective in delivering a death blow to his intended victim. The GOP does not seem to understand that there is life well beyond their base. Some are actually getting current event updates and news from media other than Fox News, and the increasingly strongly leaning Right, CNN.
