As Trump's World Turns: Conservative Support, Love Of Russia And Closing In On Butina

Image result for trump russia
On the nonverbal weakness

The common thread among what follows is a sad and unsurprising reality. The GOP and millions in the nation have actually moved their existential affiliation quality of life (associations) to the backyard and potential dog chain of Putin and his Kleptocrat state: Russia.

Here is one example of the extent to which American's conservatives have aligned with a historic and ongoing enemy of the states. Putin and his enemy state are not friends of the US. Take a look at the horror of a mind laden with Republicanism and oozing with a love of Putin
.

Image may contain: 1 person, smiling, outdoor and text
If you feel the image above is a one-off happenstance, think again. I suspect there are millions more in conservative America who display a US Flag while harboring sweet drippy thoughts of Putin and his world.

The Facebook Page Lab Pro Lib posted a graphic from Axios's Lazaro Gamio compiled a recent Survey Monkey poll of slightly over 2000respondents.

Axios
SurveyMonkey online poll conducted July 16-17, 2018 among a total sample of 2,100 adults living in the United States. Margin of error of ±3 percentage points; Poll methodology.

The US can repel any invading force or nation when the prospect of invasion is military action. But, when one-third of the nation (considering the 2016 vote spit) is offering itself up as a fertile filled for the nation killing authoritarianism of the likes of Putin, even the US has a shaky third leg.

The third leg of 63 million Americans came in third in the numbers which mattered in the 2016 General Elections.  Putin's fertile field.  Also notice the number which sits atop the count: the uncommitted, non-interested, non-voting, and foolishly gullible who may have fallen for Russian operatives. Operatives working in Russian Internet rooms ad Russians which are in the US as unequivocally as was clearly shown via the seven-year run of the FX TV series, The Americans.

If we combine thought of the images which we used to start his piece and the reality of the unfolding story of Russian operative Butina, the reality is dire and the danger to the nation is real. Following conservatives and their political party will prove a challenging going forward.

Now, let's take a look at an unfolding picture of a nation which millions in the nation find palatable. Our look at that nation is only possible via the gullible minds, sexual proclivities, and the reality of an American gun culture.

Before we embark on another detailed and relevant segment from the Rachel Maddow Show, we will remind what flows has the GOP and America conservatives at its targeted subjects.

The Maddow segment was, as expected, detailed and informative. If you did not view the MSNBC segment or prefer the visuals of an infographic on the matter, what follows may better suit your information absorption. The Infographic includes names delineated int he Maddow segment.

The common thread, guns, the GOP, conservatives, and Russians.

We also offer a quick look at another aspect of probable Russian influence on GOP politics and decisions from the current US President.

At the 5:07-minute mark of the following video Steve Schmidt, former GOP strategist and campaign adviser to John McCain's 2008 campaign, spoke on a Hardball panel about the danger inherent in Trump's love of Putin.  Schmidt speaks for a little over a minute and a half.

The Daily GOP Ignominious: America Attacked By Russian Hackers; Many Conservatives Unconcerned

As we become more informed about the CIA report of Prussian hacking the DNC and politicking Democrats on behalf of Donald Trump (and you Trump supporters), let history archive clear warnings from Trump's 2016 electoral opponent. The following video segments are taken from two of the three presidential debates. It seems Clinton knew her stuff and offered rational arguments about what is amounting to a form of international espionage/treason from a political party.  Let's face the reality Trump's camp knew of Putin's feeds to Julian Assange (WIKI) and it is becoming increasingly apparent so did FBI Director Comey.

https://youtu.be/R2YzxpwoybY

From Debate #3

Fair warning unheeded; the Media didn't care, the public didn't listen and the espionage not only continued, it worked.
_______________________________________________________

How is it possible unprecedented cooperation between a national economic and military adversary could become mainstream politics?

Prior to the debates Trump openly encouraged Putin to hack his political opponent.

Correction, Trump actually encouraged Putin to attack the United States, the American people (those who remain sane and rational) and the free world. He further boldly stated the US media would welcome the hacking. The CIA assessment of Russian hacking the 2016 election as straight forward as its mission on international INTEL and counter-INTEL. While a number of sources are published regarding the CIA assessment, we find this New York Times piece particularly noteworthy. It should be noted the piece also includes verbiage related to Russian hacking of the RNC (also)...but notice no Wiki release of hacked info from republican servers and email.

What price American sovereignty conservative America?  A White House take on Trump's international cyber army (from Russia).

American conservatives have since the election of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States has nurtured an affinity for Vladimir Putin comparable to its historic affinity for those some Americans refer to as Founding Fathers.  Yet even the most skeptical among liberals and progressives failed to realize the level to which America would turn its discerning minds to the "off' position when it came to the Right "taking our country back." MSNBC's The Rachel Maddow Blog (via Steve Benen) has published an intriguing and enlightening review of one year of Putin/Trump, their paths, and adjoining points.  And, you may be one of the millions who cast that Trump vote. Moreover, you may be one of the thousands who feel Putin helped you win a US election. What you are about to read should you click the link, shouldn't be viewed by anyone under age 18, who may still have faith in the US political system. or who's parents may be raising the as conservatives. TRMS Blog, linked.

The Benen piece was a mere prelude to a report from the Maddow show (last night), from Newsweek's Kurt Eichenwald. As you view the rather long segment, a question should arise: "What in the American psyche has contributed to so many who have wantonly turned the nation over to a money-grabbing potential fascist?

From Trump advise Manafort through the stories of hacking to the Eisenwald piece, the US finally held the election from hell. And, guess who we elected?

Rick Snyder Poisons Michigan's Seventh-largest City: Your GOP

History repeats with Michigan voters failing to understand: " Forgetting one's past leads to reliving the past."

A cost saving measures to draw residential water from the Flint River instead of the more costly water systems from Lake Heron, has reminded communities of GOP governance.

The majority of Americans who follow the news or current events know that Detroit, Michigan fell into a state of bankruptcy. While tragic enough, the failed economic state led to health risks that were prologue to a much deep health catastrophe as Michigan's Republican governor followed 'spending cuts' practices endemic to all thing GOP.'

In 2014, Michigan's Governor, Rick Snyder, appointed an unelected "emergency" manager to work towards bringing Detroit back to solvency, or to at least (hopefully) provide a level of governing stability during times of economic disaster.  Water and the supply of water in metro areas around the state have been integral to fail GOP leadership; at the peril of residence who had (or have) no power beyond an ability to turn-on and turn-off faucets.

ECO-WATCH published a piece this week which lays GOP governance open to scrutiny. and, you thought the GOP only "leads from the gutter" At the federal level!

ECO-WATCH'S CNN Excerpt (Linked as "Flint")

What is Legionnaires' disease? 01:03
Flint, an economically depressed city of about 100,000 people, started getting its water from the Flint River about two years. It previously bought Lake Huron water through the city of Detroit. The state government made that change to cut costs.

Soon after the switch, the water started to look, smell and taste funny. People complained.

It was discovered the water had high levels of iron, from the Flint River, and contained lead from hange to cut costs.

What You Need to Know About the Flint Water Crisis

A series of public decisions, driven by misguided management practices and ideological principles that backfired, converged during the past 20 months to poison the city’s drinking water and cause one of the most severe public health threats in the U.S. The extent of the risk to Flint’s residents is not clear.

Flint’s crisis is the third time during the administration of Republican Gov. Rick Snyder that decisions about water supply and water quality at the most senior levels of state government have put state residents in harm’s way. In 2014, again as a result of the governor’s decision to appoint an emergency manager in Detroit, drinking water services were cut off for thousands of city residents said to be in arrears on their water bills. But water services for many of the city’s largest commercial water consumers, which owed the city water department millions of dollars in unpaid charges, were not halted.

The Snyder administration, according to business owners and residents in northern Michigan, has been slow to respond to the threat of a major Great Lakes oil spill from two 63-year-old pipelines that transport 540,000 barrels of oil a day across the Straits of Mackinac at the top of Lake Michigan. An environmental law group in Traverse City, For the Love of Water, has argued that other existing onshore pipelines are available to transport oil to Great Lakes refineries and that Gov. Snyder has the legal authority to shut down Line 5 and prevent what the group called an “imminent risk.”

Read more at ECO-WATCH

A key consideration: the poisoning of Flint is the reality of voter apathy and voter inclinations to forget, GOP politics is overwhelmingly that of constituent groups not of the middle class and lower income strata. The basic GOP political paradigm is governance for the nation's Top 20%, with consequential tax cuts, budget cuts, and cut costs even in the reality of loss or damaged lives.  While the Michigan Governor was not in office as Detroit economically collapsed, his Republican inclination to enact inhumane budget-cuts has lead to catastrophe for Michigan's seventh-largest city.

Let there be no mistake the poisoning of Flint is a gubernatorial indictment of Rick Snyder and GOP political policy and practice.  In December 2015, The Rachel Maddow Show ran a segment that should be viewed by anyone who feels there are responsibility for the poisoning beyond the elected GOP governor.  The segment is a bit long, but I remind of a critical credo: Information is not a 40 character-sound bite process; it takes time and contemplation. Republicans thrive of Americans who do not enact that process, and who simply walk away from soundbite rhetoric inseminated with GOP propaganda developed to enact votes.

Flint toxic water tragedy points directly to Michigan Gov. Snyder

Rachel Maddow reports on the poisoning of Flint, Michigan residents when their water supply was switched, and shows explicitly how responsibility for the tragedy falls to Governor Rick Snyder and his radical, anti-democratic policies.
Synder's Poisoning of Flint

The recent GOP Debate included politicians, an entertainer, and a virtual nut case former doctor who if elected would make Snyder's deadly cost-cutting measures seem pale in relation to their potential for nation killing.

When Media Decides Debate Participation The Nation Suffers

As I perused MSNBC last evening (between commercial breaks from Monday Night football), I ran across a segment on the Rachel Maddow show that demands attention.  The segment is a bit long, to be frank, but relevant in a climate where we are finding media's guidance of the political process.

If you recall (without find details) The RNC leadership has previously admitted they sat a rule for media coverage of a primary debate after months of claiming hand-off the process for months.

As we moved through the past three weeks published reports of Rand Paul falling below the threshold for the debate main stage was all the news.  Within the past 36 hours, CNN came forth with news that Paul made the threshold without explanation of what took place literally overnight.

Rachel Maddow's production team didn't miss the sudden *re-administration*of fluid rules.

Take a few minutes and watch CNN and the RNC at work. Also, notice towards the end of the Paul segment, another intriguing tidbit regarding the sale of Nevada's most read newspaper (for $140 million).

The Daily GOP Ignominious: Trump "No Muslims To Enter The US"

Your GOP!

Tonight's Rachel Maddow Show included two segments that any rational American should view, listen to contemplate. Maddow refers to the number one Amercian demagogue (who happens to claim the GOP) as Mr. Trump.  Her guest in the second segment also refers to Trump as "Mr. Trump."  I await that day when media ceases to provide reverence for a person who is as dangerous to the United States as Adolf Hitler was for the world in the mid-1930s through his suicide in 1945.  The parallels are overwhelming to the point of viewing history with the prospect of reliving it.

Media deifies and people pay attention.  I have yet to hear any media refer to Jeb Bush as "Mr. Bush".  How about Mrs. Clinton or Mr. Sanders?   Celebrity and acquired wealth shouldn't as a matter fo practice lead to auto-respect when the person via his acts incessantly lowers himself to the level of a bigot (to put it mildly).

While almost all GOP Primary candidates have joined in the anti-Islam mania growing int he Right, Trump has evolved from a bigoted birther to a seething white nationalist.  It should be noted white nationalism is one step away from national killing racism.  "Isms" come in bundles, Trump offers bundled bigotry for all.

I digress.

Let's check-in on Mediaite's piece on the Maddow segment followed by the MSNBC segment with Richard Engel.

Mediaite
maddow
Donald Trump‘s proposal to ban all foreign Muslims from entering the U.S. is so outlandish and so insane, Rachel Maddow is now seriously wondering if Trump is deliberately trying to kill his own campaign.

Maddow seriously threw out the theory tonight that Trump is so “spooked” by his own success, he is saying ever-more-provocative things to “blow up his presidential campaign.”

“Is he trying,” she asked, “to get himself effectively kicked out of the Republican party so there’s no longer a threat he might actually get nominated as that party’s nominee for president or, God forbid, that he might win the office?”

Does Trump want out of the GOP?

But not only is this a potential black mark on the GOP and Trump himself, Maddow found it more than a little troubling how Trump’s “radical to the point of obscenity” proposal might impact the country as a whole.

Watch above, via MSNBC.

Let's finish the Maddow segment with an MSNBC international journalist (Investigator) who has, in my opinion, complete credibility: Richard Engel.

Oh, Father Of Modern American Conservatism, "What Have We Done? We Have A Problem!"

Rachel Maddow recently broadcast a piece regarding the ongoing fight between Donald Trump and Fox News. A fight that is the tip of the iceberg of that in our society born of conservative politics, conservative media and star worshiping sycophants who will stand in line for hours for a peep at a reality show entertainer. Maddow's production team uses a fabled Godzilla to illustrate the relationship between the nation's GOP news outlet and the ego-manical Trump.  We very much prefer analogy to the also fabled Frankenstein Monster as we feel it better represents the embodiment of the GOP's creation. It should be noted, Maddow late in the segment used our long stated and preferred analogy.

MSNBC Via Media Matters
The Rachel Maddow Show explains why Fox has no one to blame but themselves for Trump: "They created this thing—which they are now fighting."Posted by Media Matters for America on Wednesday, August 26, 2015
And, the fight reignites with Trump sitting at a personal computing device and tweeting like a fiendish teenager. When a candidate for the US Presidency stoops a level of indecency via use of the word "bimbo: on social media the GOP has to know their monster is devouring any chance of winning in 2016; he is in effect killing his creator

As is always the case with monsters and the environment in which they exists, they attract the more unsavory among us.

Trump's clear message of white nationalism and anti-(illegal) immigrant rhetoric is resonating among the nation's racists (white nationalist if you prefer). The  media re-cycling of Pat Buchanan is clear evidence of why someone at Trump's oozfest last week yelled "White Power." Buchanan on Meet the Press in late July. Did the noted racist almost say "Russia?"

If Trump's and Buchanan's "red herring" white nationalism isn't proof positive of a GOP that has metastasized into an American social cancer, have a visit with more celebrated racist.

The Daily GOP Ignominious: Sarah Palin Quips And Shows Her Intellect (AGAIN)

If you follow US politics, you know the GOP and RNC sponsor two annual events focused on titillating the more zany and hardcore across their party: The CPAC Event and the Values Voter summit.

We generally avoid the two events like the plague. Here is the perfect example of why.....

http://www.c-span.org/video/?c4509849/run-rush-run
So much for CPAC, let's skip a few years ahead to another conservative idol. An idol with the intellect of a turtle and a communication style that is only open for exposure a few seconds. Sarah Palin and a typical Palin swipe at President Obama. You might have noticed Palin spends much time and energy speaking about race. She skirts (pun not intended) into the issue just enough to tip her hand as a closet bigot who sends veiled and subliminal messages to her ravishing throngs of "tin hats." It is also important to occasionally remind the GOP is a party that sports 92% white members. If you know and understand data, you should know the percent represents a desired state and social reality. I offer an additional analogy for the stumbling half-governor of Alaska. Have you ever criticize a person during an Internet argument for a their keyboarding a typo?  We all have. Now, have you ever committed a typo in the very sentence aimed to deflate the battling opponent. How did you fell?  Pretty small, eh.

Palin's efforts to interject race to the predominate and receptive crowd was marred by a revelation unbecoming one who aspired to serve in the White House.

But, Palin and race is not the impetus for this screed. It seems Plain has topped her "Paul Revere warning the British" with a complete and unfathomable misplacement of the White House.

Values Voter summit

More ABC news videos | Latest world news

I will admit I am a news and current events geek. I also learned many years ago how to prepare for a speech with requisite research and prepare for the speech via talking it out loud or via a select speech reviewer. Obviously, Palin hasn't learned to augment her education deficiencies with assistance for others. And, in her case others who are far more worldly and learned.

Palin will say she misspoke. Well, she clear read her comments and with very amateurish extended pause to facilitate reading her script. It appeared someone wrote out 1400 Pennsylvania avenue. Of course, Palin didn't write the wrong address. It was her speech writer; of course.

As I viewed the Rachel Maddow Show tonight, I notice she and her producer devoted one minute to the Palin exhibition.  it is worth the minute, give it a run.

While Republican practice utter contempt for President Obama's use of the teleprompter,  Palin should avoid writing out a speech with associated delivery via long absorption of  speech lines via the podium. If the speech had been placed on proper speech deliver tools, we might have missed a reminder of Palin's intellect and delver of entertainment over substance. Someone with an iota of intellect would have caught the mistake.

Operation American Spring: DUD! People Just Do Not Like Sedition

As we report on the newly formed and developing Operation American Spring (OSA) movement, our intent is not to ridicule. We are Americans and we can do what we wish as long as it doesn't endanger others and is within the confines of the law. Our time spent on OSA, is equal to the effort expended on the 2009 Tea Party, so we are not beating-up on what has started as an oasis.

Deep scrutiny of OAS should become a law enforcement operational mission.  No matter the icing, open sedition against the US government should be considered without regard for constitutional rights. Our government is up for grabs every four years with opportunity to affect changer in the US House every two years. People who espouse revolt against a duly elected government are dangerous people. They are not so dangerous in relation to their collective ideology. They are dangerous regarding the potential actions of even one movement zealot or sycophant. Such movements provide fertile growth potential for people who strive for and spending lavishly to move towards oligarchy.

As I viewed the following march related items, I notice not one person of color among the protesters. If I am correct we didn't see any people of color in the 2009 birth of the Tea Party.

April 9th 2014, the birth of a movement.  Do you recall the 2009 Tea party Movement; the Koch brother brainchild born out of the election of Barack H, Obama as the 44th President of the United States of America.

The Kochs and their highly compensated operatives developed a movement that literally "shellacked' the Democrats in 2010. A shellacking that handed the GOP an opportunity that will shape the nation for many years. In fact, the Tea Party House of Oz may retain a solid hold on the House of Representatives until 2021. After the next US Census and a Democratic win in the House, DEM party leaders may have opportunity to re-district representative districts currently proliferating for the GOP like a front yard full of Dandelions in early May.

The Tea Party has fizzled as a viable social movement. Yet, angry white Americans, older angry white Americans, Fox News hosts and Koch operatives delivered a US Congress that the nation this and not much more.

Congressional Job Approval: Recent Trend

In essence, millions followed the Kochs down a path to a lowered national credit rating, deep and severe cuts in public sector employment, partisan politics unparalleled in US History, denied payments to the unemployed, and deep cuts in food programs that also benefit the elderly and low ranking military families.

The Tea Party fizzled. Far-right malcontent with the loss of the 2008 election has metastasized post-2012 to full-blown sedition. Circa 2012 and forward we have witnessed a major cable network with at least one host who espouses open sedition against the US government. A host who literally rallied behind tax evading/racist Cliven Bundy until Bundy revealed his inner core.   We find weekly exhibition of overt racism, often aimed directly to our president.  And we are seeing new anti-government efforts to stoke anti-US fervor, Fervor that as of this April saw the birth of a seditious movement that should draw attention from the same authorities that so effectively infiltrated Occupy Wall Street.

Operation American Spring (OAS) is upon us.  A quick peep at  OAS will clearly show the extent to which its organizers espouses sedition.
The goal, according to retired Col Harry Riley, is the removal of President Obama, Vice President Biden, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio and California Democrat Nancy Pelosi, the House Minority Leader.
.

If you want to see the extent to which Riley and his backers envision their movement to "Take My Country Back," you may want to check the OAS website. Linked

Maddow And Research Team Exposes The Framework Of Possible Christe Corruption

The following Raw Story post from the Rachel Maddow Show of last night is a reminder of reporting we once viewed from 60 Minutes, Nightline and similar investigatory news shows. Those days are as long gone as cathode ray televisions sets or 8-track players. Bachmann's Legislative Incompetence, Master Story Teller And Drain On GOP Veracity.

politifact.com
Despite the well developed and produce statement from Michelle Bachmann related to her decision not to run for a 5th Term in the US Congress, we are reminded of the scope and depths of her penchant for lying.  As we moved through the 2011/2012 General Election campaigns, we realized that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan's first thoughts and responses to elections issue was to tell a lie.  Their penchant for lying manifest in many instances. The most notable of which was Paul Ryan's "bull-rush" (unscheduled, unannounced visit) of a soup pantry with cameras and family in tow.  Ryan's "bull-rush" was bad enough, but when compounded with their using clean posts and pans as a prop, the true level of their mores` and ethics were revealed.  Our second and third most notable instances of a serious lack of personal integrity and respect for others was Romney's tan-face at the Univision Event and his stumble over his ethics with the Chrysler/Jeep Plant closure lie.

Politifact recently published information supportive of their position that the GOP exercise far more falsehoods than their counterparts in the Democratic Party.

"PolitiFact Rates Higher Percentage Of Republican Claims As False, Study Finds"
We offer yet another piece that shows Bachmann as the "Queen of Pants on Fire."
The Progressive Influence: Politician Veracity: "Pants on Fire."

Well, are you surprised? If you are surprised your time spent on the International Space Station was far too long and obviously without news coverage beyond, Breitbart.com, Fox News and The Daily Caller.

If PolitiFact runs another review of political party veracity across the political spectrum in two yeas, the GOP may pull-up from the gutter.  Their Number Three (#3) "naysayer and chicken little false hood spewer" has announced she will not seek a 5th Term in the US Congress.

As you review the abbreviated segment from last evenings Rachel Maddow show, think about the real prospect the absence of Mitt Romney and the absence of Michelle Bachmann could increase the potential for veracity in the GOP.

Rachel Maddow in classic form!

If you are like me and like a nice spread of icing over your cake, Jason Linkins, Huff Post published a piece about Bachmann's legislative incompetence. And, the icing really does close it all out very well.
Michele Bachmann's Complete Legislative History (source: www.govtrack.us)

Other than that, sure, Jake Sherman and John Bresnahan are essentially correct when they say that Bachmann "has never had a bill or resolution she’s sponsored signed into law" and "never wielded a committee gavel, either at the full or subcommittee level" and that her "amendments and bills have rarely been considered by any committee, even with the House under GOP control."

But, you know, details. There's still a chance between now and the time she leaves office on Jan. 3, 2015, Bachmann might sponsor something that becomes law. Isn't there? You never know what could happen! Minnesota is 155 years old now, for instance.
THINGS ATTEMPTED BY MICHELE BACHMANNTHINGS ACCOMPLISHED BY MICHELE BACHMANN

It is intriguing and disappointing to think that Bachmann could go down in US History for the reasons delineated above.
