The Daily GOP Ignominious: Trumpism (Taco Salad, Rick Perry, Refusal To Denounce)

The level and scope of Trump unfavorable are astounding  The rational person has to ask, "how can so many Americans fall for the child-like demeanor and rhetoric of Donald Trump?"  The answer to the question lies in Trump's celebrity, oratory (albeit ridiculous and often shameful), and opportunity. Let's take a quick look and read about political opportunity from one very disingenuous Republican.

Paul Ryan, Speaker of the House, stated he is not yet ready to endorse Trump.  No worries, Ryan will follow lock-step along with others in his party, but for now, let's consider Ryan.

He obviously has gotten the Memo from the RNC regarding referring to the GOP as the party of Lincoln.  Really?

Watch what you can of the following interview. After you can watch no more consider visiting the link that follows the video.

Rest assured Ryan will cuddle under to Trump immediately after the meeting schedule with the RNC Chair on Thursday of this week.

Trump refuses to denounce his neo-nazi followers and supporters. It is important to recognize Wolf Blitzer is Jewish.  Trump doesn't even have the inner core to even slightly modify his paradigm during an international interview.  He clearly is counting on the white male vote to take him to the White House.

If you need more validation of Trumps appeal to white supremacists, white nationalists, and simple-minded racists, try Pat Buchanan on for size.

Pat Buchanan joins David Duke in supporting Trump while continuing to work towards whitewashing America.

Some do not fall far from the tree.

Happy ! The best taco bowls are made in Trump Tower Grill. I love Hispanics!

Trump's special form of bigotry and racism regarding an American dish as a tool to offer carnival barker messages to Latinos was both revealing and horrific. If you want to see and hear worse, watch as the RNC Chair, Reince Priebus, avoids criticizing his racist nascent party leader.

Politico’s Mike Allen asked Priebus about Trump'sexhibition. Believe it or not, Priebus started his remarks with an: "uh."
“Uh, he’s trying,” Priebus says to audience laughter. “Honestly, he’s trying and I’ll tell you what, and I honestly think he understands that building and unifying and growing the party is the only way we’re gonna win.”
"He's trying."  "Trying!"
Priebus's remarks provide validation of Trump's over the top flawed social views ad elitism?
Trump and Priebus and their part in this latest example of true racism are only surpassed by the reality Trumps tea allowed him to develop such an exhibition. It would be interesting to know who in Trump's corral actually came up with the idea? After that, it would be even more interesting to know Trump's top advisors didn't reject the exhibition. The answer is obvious, elitism and bigotry are rampant in all things Trump.

Fox News's Hannity endorse Trump and jumps Ryan for not doing same. If you know of another news network with hosts who openly endorse political candidates, please consider leaving us a note. We boxed you in a bit and that was unfair. We mentioned news networks; Fox News is not a news network, therefore, we have to take Hannity in the context of "the show."

The TPI Morning Gazette: Trump, Carson, Jobs, Fox News, Sarah Palin, Pay Inequality

Non-Progressive News...

Bill O'Reilly's Fox News' enforcer Jesse Watters, goes off the rail in support of Donald Trump's feel good talk about building a wall across the US Southern Border. We will avoid addressing issues regarding determination of who are candidates for masses relocation to southern of the border.

Yet another day rolls through a 24 hour cycle with a Ben Carson revelation (or reminder). Carson's work to appeal to the GOP'S 92% white members and right leaning Independents is stupefying and at times denotes a person of unsound mind.  Does carson need a neurosurgeon?

Rick Perry joined CNN this week for another of his patented nonsensical ramblings. Not only did Perry speak disparagingly about the US economy. An economy that is most assuredly improving from the Bush Great Recession. Of more significance, Perry responded to a question about pay inequality with a response that is so easily refuted, one has to wonder about his mental acuity and the professional acuity of his handlers.

It is OK to discriminate if you are a person who subscribes to GOP/RNC policy.
Yesterday we published a TPI Gazette with no mention of the ever-angst filled and 'perpetual attack mode" Donald Trump. Or, "Mr. Trump as some many in US media refer to the from birth millionaire. We find it amazing that the same media hosts who frequently refer to Trum as "Mr.Trump: will int eh very next sentence refer to Jeb Bush as "Bush" or Jeb Bush. Are we so consumed with reality show entertainers and wealth worship we cannot practice consistent ways to addressing all GOP candidates. You certainly know you will never hear, "Mrs. Clinton" or Mr. Sanders."

Can you imagine any world leaders who is chopping at the bits to interact with Trump?

When we read comment regarding conservative disillusionment with Pope Francis, we have little problems seeing through the false world of US conservatism.  The Right seems to hate the first Catholic Pope to publicly speak out about the rights of the less privileged, the poor and people who differ regarding race, sex and sexual orientation, and the Earth's climate.

What comes next is disgusting, but not surprising as we consider the current state of US conservatism and conservative politics. We will not make additional comment.

TPI Morning Gazette Palin, O'Reilly, TRUMP, Planned Parenthood. Hillary Clinton, Perry

Non-Progressive News...

Rick Perry really is not ready for prime-time. Why should the question as posed by conservative host Mark Halperin pose a problem? Is there so little cognitive acumen in Perry, he cannot think beyond notes?

Oop, Rick Perry

Let's start this edition with the pride of the GOP and Fox's number one bloviator. He recognize this interview has symbiotic benefit to both conservatives, but we questions the idiocy of anyone who would sit through such a farce without complete rejection of Palin's drivel. She cannot even answer a question without rolling through extemporaneous non-sense and incoherent drivel.

Didn't we read that Fox terminated their contract with the cognitive deficient former half-term governor of Alaska.

While African-American women "CHOOSE" to abort at a higher ratio than whites and Hispanics (and other minorities), question about Palin's oral diarrhea should ensue regarding white women who choose to abort.

Of course, Planned Parenthood doesn't perform the vast majority of abortions. We provided the meme based on Palin's cognitive flatulence. She has grabbed the highly edited conservative operative PPH videos, developed a personal marketing strategy and unleashed her oratory. The data below "gives rise" to questions about why Palin chose the "minority" community. As indicated below, whites also seek abortion among the three percent of abortion services from Planed Parenthood.
Characteristics of Women Having Abortions
via Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (last updated November 2014)
Over half (58%) of all women having abortions are in their 20’s.
More than 7 in 10 U.S. women obtaining an abortion report a religious affiliation.
37% are Protestant

28% are Catholic

7% are other religions
37% of women having abortions are white, 36% are black, 20% are Hispanic, and 7% other races.
Black non-Hispanic women have the highest abortion ratio. Black women’s abortion ratio has reached 459 abortions per 1,000 live births, while non-Hispanic white women’s abortion ratio is 132 abortions per 1,000 live births.
According to the Guttmacher Institute, “Women who obtain abortions are predominantly poor or low-income, in their 20s and unmarried; black women and Hispanic women continue to be disproportionately represented among abortion patients.”
Reasons For Abortion
98% Personal Choice (unwanted or inconvenient) (Red)
1.7% Life/Health of Mother or Child (Blue)
.3% Rape/Incest (White)
It should be noted the Right also has issues with contraception (thus forcing some unfit potential parents to have children). Abstinence didn't work for the Reagans, it surely will not work now. The Right is anti-health care for the needy and that care includes care to women who in most cases are younger and unmarried.

Planned Parenthood as strategy is ill advised and dangerous to the great society.

It would be helpful if a Fox News show host would remind Palin that Planned Parenthood is a 503c organization and profiteering will not past regulatory scrutiny. Alas, I suspect Fox News managers and producers will not allow such questions as it would tarnish their clear propaganda support against Planned Parenthood.

President Trump Would 'Love' To Include Sarah Palin In His Cabinet

If Donald Trump wins the 2016 presidential election, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) may again grace the national political stage.
During a Monday interview on radio show "The Palin Update," Trump said he was open to including Palin as a member of his cabinet if elected president.

When he joined the show on Monday, Trump called Palin "tough and smart," prompting the show host, Kevin Scholla, to ask the presidential candidate whether he would consider asking Palin for advice or including her in his administration.

"I’d love that," Trump responded, according to audio highlighted by Right Wing Watch. "Because she really is somebody who knows what’s happening and she’s a special person, she’s really a special person, and I think people know that."

The Daily GOP Ignominious: Rick Perry And The Obama Economy.....Jobs Anyone?

The only GOP (declared) candidate for the party's nomination who has mentioned the US economy over the past six years was the sweaty and ill advised Rick "Oooops" Perry. Undeclared candidates such as Jeb "His Own Man" Bush, Bobby (Lost In Space) Jindal, and Chris (Running from the law) Perry have forayed into other perceived areas of Obama weakness, but even they have avoided any mention of the US economy. Moreover , Fox News strategically avoids mention of the US economy.

Now, why would Rick Perry;s team go there and do so the day before the May Jobs Report was released? We wonder if Perry is getting his news from The Drudge Report and Tucker Carlson's The Daily Currant.

Fox News should also notice GOP Elected official and the RNC are avoiding this data as if it was an equal rights Amendment or a tax hike.

The US Employment Participation Rate still languishes at a much lower than acceptable rate.

The following is a nice piece of work via friend of the TPI Rob McDonald. The graphic directly address those who are naive or gullible enough to turn the US economy en masse over to the GOP.

The Daily GOP Ignominious: Rick Perry's Attacks Social Security

"OOOPS", The US Constitution and Social Security?
Take a few minutes to view the Thom Hartmann take on Rick Perry's demagoguery regarding social security.

While Perry will not come close to the GOP Nomination, someone on Fox News should ask him how he came even discuss social security in the context of a charter that was promulgated when nation had a population of less than 3 million. (and that includes a count of slaves).

It is so obvious the GOP constituency base does not include future recipients of Social Security.  Does anyone in the GOP think strategically.

Rick Perry Mentioned The Obama Economy. Really?

During Rick Perry's poorly planned announcement of intent to run for the GOP 2016 presidential nomination, he made the statement captur in the CNN embed below. The accompanying video doesn't related to the statement, but at the 55 second mark of the video Rick Perry is exposed for what he is, an empty suit . His choice prop former Navy Seal robotic props on either side of his platform position, could be as telling as the now famous 2012 Perry debate "Oops." Perry is under indictment in his home state, and despite the fact he will never serve a moment in the Texas prison system, he is a scarred candidate. In fact, a historic scared candidate. I don't believe there is another candidate for the US Presidency who was under active indictment while running for his party's nomination.

Perry's political woes aside, he has again proved he is lacking political acuity in his choice of speech writers and campaign managers. His announcement was on a first Thursday of the month.  About the same time each month the current administration is within hours of releasing the previous month's jobs report and unemployment figures. Even with the down month of April the jobs report has consistently come-in in the positive and over 100,000 per month. Additionally, the unemployment rate has dropped ever so slightly each month with very infrequent ticks up based on Americans re-entering the job market.

Why the concern with the jobs report and unemployment? Read the statement below. Job creation and unemployment are monthly indicators of the US economy that join other indicators for a comprehensive snapshot.  Why would Perry's team send hi to a micro[one the day before the May Jobs Report release with dire tin foil hat 'fear' mongering about the Obama economy? I report "the day before the May Jobs Report."

"We've been through a great depression..we will make it through the Obama years" -Rick Perry:

Some media are repeating job creation at 280,000 vs the 262,000 depicted below.

Granted, candidate Perry is vying for the GOP nomination. His potential voter constituency inherently only relate to information and circumstances as far back as six months, but the red chart indicators, sheds a revealing light on Perry's ".....made it through the Obama years."

"We've been through a great depression..we will make it through the Obama years"

Alas, maybe Perry was speaking to a group of Americans who sit at lofty income levels from 300 to 400 times the level at which they pay employees: the American CEO. Notice the red indicator above.

I posit the CEO is never gong to show a Green indicator as it is outside the psyche of people who earn at levels comparable to "high end" professional athletes and rock stars.

Of course, we shouldn't underestimate Perry's team may get their current event news from the same social media sites as did Mitt Romney's crew from 2012. If that's the case Perry may be inundated with false information for The Drudge Report comparable to Mitt Romney's Ohio Chrysler Plant closing fiasco of 2012. In any case Perry should consider forgoing references to the US economy; the greater population may not share his contempt.

If you want a complete picture of the Obama economic record and GOP support for improving the US economy, a quick meme offers all you need.

Two final pieces of information that refute show the futility of Perry;s step into the US economy under Obama.

The Washington Post address job creation in a recent post.

Perry is going to be fun to watch and he will lower the aggregate quality of the possible 20 candidates for the GOP nomination.
