"He Doesn't Love You; He Doesn't Love America", Rudy Giuliani

Rudy Giuliani's he doesn't love you; he doesn't love America continues to resonate.

Politico reported

“I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America,” Giuliani said during the event in Manhattan. “He doesn’t love you. And he doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country.”

Speaking to the New York Times, Giuliani said his remarks weren't racist because the president had been raised by his white mother, pictured above

Limbaugh: Giuliani Said What I've Been Saying For Years -- "Obama Does Not Like This Country"Rush: "I'm The Guy Who's Been Saying For Six Plus Years Now ... Obama Does Not Like This Country"
Two minutes from the GOP ideology leader, and one who Giuliani has now unabashedly associated. And, Rush Limbaugh claims the increasingly zany former New York Mayor, like a spider grappling prey caught in his racist net.

"He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country.”

The Daily Kos's Paleo offers background for the  meme posted above.

Rudy Giuliani knows a lot about love.
Ask Regina Peruggi, the second cousin he grew up with and married, who was "offended" when Rudy later engineered an annulment from the priest who was his best man on the grounds, strangely enough, that she was his cousin. Or ask Donna Hanover, the mother of his two children, who found out he wanted a separation when he left Gracie Mansion one morning and announced it at a televised press conference.
Rudy may have forgotten the half-dozen deferments he won ducking the Vietnam War, even getting the federal judge he was clerking for to write a letter creating a special exemption for him. And remember Bernie Kerik? He's the Giulaini police commissioner, business partner and sidekick whose nomination as homeland security secretary narrowly preceded indictments. He then did his national service in prison.
. . . .
Giuliani went so far as to rebuke the President for not being "brought up the way you were and the way I was brought up through love of this country," a bow no doubt to the parenting prowess of Harold Giuliani, who did time in Sing Sing for holding up a Harlem milkman and was the bat-wielding enforcer for the loan-sharking operation run out of a Brooklyn bar owned by Rudy's uncle.
Though Rudy cited Harold throughout his public life as his model (without revealing any of his history), he and five Rudy uncles found ways to avoid service in World War II. Harold, whose robbery conviction was in the name of an alias, made sure the draft board knew he was a felon. On the other hand, Obama's grandfather and uncle served. His uncle helped liberate Buchenwald . . . .
After working our way past the absurdity of Giuliani's classless drivel regarding President Obama's upbringing, we turn to subsequent fodder for a Giuliani psychological evaluation. In response to accurate accusations of racism as a foundation for his remarks, the inimitable candidate for a psychic evaluation dug a bit deeper. He uttered remarks grounded in racism and remarks ridiculous as as those spoken by a person suffering from severe psychosis.

Giuliani in an interview with the New York Times, went completely zany with comments he could not have developed with the assistance of a mentally competent adviser. His remarks about Obama's white mother and white "upbringing" just about rivals ;any racist remarks from the likes of David Duke or Pat Buchanan.

......speaking to the New York Times, Giuliani stood by his remarks and claimed he was attacking the president's socialist principals.

'Some people thought it was racist -- I thought that was a joke, since he was brought up by a white mother, a white grandfather, went to white schools, and most of this he learned from white people,' Giuliani said.

'This isn’t racism. This is socialism or possibly anti-colonialism.'
Life of the mixed racist human being qualifies the child and his siblings a life without the prospect of suffering the social deficiencies of a racist? Only a true bigot or racist could conjure-up such thoughts. The statement was so wrought with an absence of logic additional comment is unnecessary.

Did you also notice Giuliani's reference to anti-colonialism (eg. Pat Buchanan and Mike Huckabee)

Buchanan's "A lesson in tyranny too soon forgotten", Patrick Buchanan, Chicago Tribune, August 25, 1977 (Section 3 page 3). Buchanan wrote with reference to Adolf Hitler.

Excerpt
The vision lacking in the statesmen of '37 appears lacking as well in the men of '77. Communists, pro-Communists, Western-haters appeal to Western commitments to anti-colonialism, nonintervention, majority rule, and strategic parity. But these arguments are the indentured servants of a global enterprise, which has as its objective the collapse of the West. Unlike Churchill, we cannot see the linkage between Southeast Asia and Panama, between Angola and Taiwan, between South Korea and South Africa.
What is the far-right affinity for centuries old colonialism? Do they not realize that humankind today stills suffers from the vestiges of oppression endemic to European colonialism? Is the phraseology code for whites who react with knee-jerk hatred at the very accusation of our president as an anti-colonialist? Are the words a form of laxative that induces a form of white nationalist diarrhea? Why do we never hear or read non-whites speak of an affinity for colonialism?  (The Washington Post published an interesting piece regarding Giuliani's use of anti-colonialism. The Post writer also failed to pinpoint the zany former mayor's use of the phrase.)

Giuliani's remarks have thrown yet another dark shadow across the the GOP's 2016 playing field. We have yet another noted party celebrity showing the extent to which racism and racially sprinkled code permeates all things GOP.

How about a responses to Giuliani's remarks from two GOP presidential hopefuls: Rand Paul and Scott Walker?

Scott "Moving Target non-committal" Walker

Rand "The Chameleon Misinformation" Paul

It should be noted Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal joined Giuliani's illogical racism. Marco Rubio took the safer high road with "Of course, the president loves America." I find it intriguing both Chris Christie and Jeb Bush have steered clear of Giuliani's "mess."

The remarks were so egregious the White House responded. And, the words were sharp and to the point.

Liberals Unite: The Crumbling Limbaugh

post re-posted here via Creative Commons License and our commitment to fighting the horror of Rush Limbaugh and Right-wing media

Rush Limbaugh Is In Ruins – Bad News Coming From Everywhere – Even The Right

rush-limbaugh-hed-2012
It’s been a tough time for talk show host, Rush Limbaugh, these days  - and a very rewarding time for the millions of Americans who have protested his extreme hate speech for decades. Newer activist groups like BoycottRush, FlushRush, and StopRush, and hundreds of thousands of American consumers, began a massive national boycott movement, two years ago, that is exposing Limbaugh and crushing his career. Here are four new recent developments:

1. Politico published an article revealing that Tea Party organizations (some created by the Koch brothers) have contributed millions to Rush Limbaugh. What does this mean? For Rush it means they helped sustain him while thousands of sponsors pulled their ads. It means this may lead to an investigation to see if the funding was done legally. According to the FCC, if you receive money from an organization that pays you to promote their propaganda, without telling your audience, it may be considered ‘payola’  - and it may be illegal.

“The Heritage Foundation at the end of January ended its five-year sponsorship of El Rushbo’s show, for which it had paid more than $2 million in some years and more than $9.5 million overall. In 2012, FreedomWorks paid at least $1.4 million to make him an endorser, though it’s not clear that the sponsorship is ongoing.”

2. Forbes Senior Political Contributor and regular on Forbes On Fox, Rick Ungar, believes Rush Limbaugh has become a joke. He also shows, via FrontPageMag.com data, that Limbaugh has outlived his audience. Ungar, also known as Forbes ‘token lefty’ implies Rush is now in the, toss out the old – bring in the new, demographic category. The median age of his dwindling audience (as well as the aforementioned sponsor boycott) no longer appeal to advertisers.
Rick Ungar:
“At long last, it appears that Rush Limbaugh has run out of steam. I have to acknowledge that I have sensed Rush getting by on fumes for some time now (yes, I tune into his show from time to time to enjoy his broadcasting skills if not his message). However, it was only recently that the world of Limbaugh crossed that thin red line from partially serious to total self-parody and audience deception—a line crossed from which there is often no return.”
“Network television doesn’t just fail to count older viewers; it tries to drive them away. A show with an older viewership is dead air. Advertisers have been pushed by ad agencies into an obsession with associating their product with a youthful brand. The demo rating, 18-49, is the only rating that matters. Viewers younger than that can still pay off. Just ask the CW. Older viewers however are unwanted.”
3. Speaking of advertisers, Rush Limbaugh can’t seem to hold on to them, without doling out heavy discounts and/or free ad space. After his notorious on-air verbal attack of then unknown, Sandra Fluke, the national protests was set into motion. Hardworking FlushRush volunteers now monitor The Rush Limbaugh Show nationwide. They document the sponsor ads they hear on his show, into the StopRush Database, along with contact and ad details. The sponsor data is then posted back into the FlushRush private Facebook group, and onto the BoycottRush Facebook page for public use. There have been hundreds of articles written about Rush Limbaugh and the boycotts against him, that have appeared in at least a dozen political online news groups, including Liberals Unite and Daily Kos, and have been viewed by millions. The result? Limbaugh and the radio stations that carry him have lost millions in ad revenue. Very few took the Limbaugh boycott seriously two years ago. It reminds me of the Gandhi quote:
Mahatma Gandhi:
“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”
4. And lastly; Ed Shultz interviewed Holland Cooke this week. Cooke believes Limbaugh’s business is over, for good, due to the various organized boycotts mentioned above. Each does their own part. The protests have been supported by many big and small Liberal organizations, websites, Facebook pages/groups, and Twitter.

Holland Cooke: (via Daily Kos)

“Hundreds of blue-chip national advertisers basically have not only wandered away from Rush Limbaugh and some of the other righties, they’ve abandoned the format entirely. They are afraid to be heard on a news talk station because this man’s use of his free speech triggered the opposing viewpoint exercising THEIR right to free speech. The boycotters are speaking and using the marketplace to say, ‘ENOUGH!’
Here is an audio clip of the Ed Shultz/Holland Cooke interview:

So now, we’re not only hearing from consumers, we are hearing from industry experts on the left and right, many of whom know the business better than anyone and would not risk their reputations on merely gossip. Yes, yes, the public has had enough.  Limbaugh’s self-proclaimed ‘Dittohead’ fans have demanded that Rush’s right to free speech, also gives him the right to spew misogyny, homophobia, bigotry, and racism on public radio. He’s been getting away with it for over 25 years. After the Sandra Fluke attack, the general public soon realized that neither his radio affiliates, nor the FCC, planned to do anything about his hate speech, so American consumers decided to use their own version of free speech via petitions, boycotts, and their consumer dollars, to bring Limbaugh down by way of his sponsors. It’s reported 3,100 companies have pulled their ads from Limbaugh, and the protestors and boycotters have never been closer to pulling Limbaugh off the air. When he has moved on, this country will be all the better, and the public will prove once again, it can be done. We can eliminate hate speech from the media, if takes one host at a time.

You see, you can toss  Americans some Limbaugh, Fox News, Bush/Cheney, Koch brothers, even some Supreme Court corruption, but when push comes to shove, Americans will stand up, show up, take charge, and demand a return to democracy and common decency. Salute to all the many boycotters and volunteers.

The Daily GOP Ignominious: Eric Bohlert , Media Matters, Demolishes Dinesh D'Souza

Dinesh D'Souza, admitted felon, melts under the sharp mental acuity of Eric Boehlert. After MSNBC's The Ed Show host fill-in Professor Michael Eric Dyson engages D'Souza and after a few minutes of D'Souza's inane drivel, Dyson's guests take-down the Obama hating and liberal combatant GOP operative.

I personal cannot imagine living a life that involves the perception of D'Souza as a credible pundit and operative.

http://mediamatters.org/video/2014/07/10/......

D'Souza' book  also includes references to slavery that conservatives continue to banter as good for black people who are descendants of slaves. D'Souza's works are nothing more than conservative drivel and exhibitions to entertain the regressive mindsets endemic in American conservatism. Media Matters Alexandrea Boghun published a piece earlier in the week that includes five media personalities who found D'Souza's agitprop  has merit.

Media Matters on D'Souza's book
D'Souza's Book Claims African Americans Are Better Off Thanks To Slavery
D'Souza: Black People "Better Off As A Consequence" Of Slavery. In his book America: Imagine a World Without Her, D'Souza discussed the subject of reparations and argued that descendants of slaves are actually "better off as a consequence" of slavery (emphasis added):
Does America owe blacks now living reparations on account of slavery? No more than it owes reparations to the descendants of whites who died in the Civil War. I don't mean this in the callous way of suggesting that what's done is done. Rather, I mean that there is an enormous debt owed to the Northern men who died in the Civil War. But those heroes are dead, and their descendants are scattered. What is owed is more than money can pay; we discharge our debt by honoring and remembering. Similarly there is a debt owed to slaves whose labor was wrongly taken from them. That debt too is best discharged through memory, because the slaves are dead and their descendants - this will be a hard pill for progressives to swallow -- are better off as a consequence of their ancestors being hauled from Africa to America. [America: Imagine a World Without Her, 6/2/14, accessed via Kindle]

The five media personalities include four employed by Fox News. One of the four. Megyn Kelly, went on record last December proclaiming Santa as "white" as was Jesus. The last name on the Media Matters list says it all. Rush Limbaugh suggest viewing the film.

If you did not follow the link above, the five media conservative who would have you spend money on D'Souza's exhibitions.

ABC's Martha Raddatz: "Everybody Should Go See It."
Fox's Megyn Kelly: "This Is A Fascinating Film."
Fox's Andrea Tantaros: "Kids Should Watch This So They're Armed With The Facts."
Sean Hannity: America Will Be A "Big Hit".

GOP Ideology Leaders Jumps Don Lemon, CNN. "Sleeping With Men."

Huffington Post
Limbaugh entertains his listeners without respect for any US racial, sexual or physically challenged demographic. The only demographic insulted from Limbaugh heinous ignorance is the white male conservative. Since, Limbaugh's psyche twists towards bigotry and racism, he cannot actually blanket criticism white men.  He has not 'bigot hook' until the person opens up with progressive comment.

The EIB network GOP ideology leader has lashed out at Don Lemon, CNN host, for criticizing Limbaugh comment about Donald Sterling as victim of a set-up for not giving enough to support Obama.

Huffington Post

Mother Jones
Excerpts
"Report: Clippers Owner Caught In Racist Rant Is A Democratic Donor" — Fox Nation.
"NBA Sterling is a Democrat..." — Matt Drudge.
"Race Hate Spewing Clippers Owner Is Democratic Donor" — the Daily Caller.
"Media Ignoring Dem Donations of LA Clippers' Owner, Allegedly Caught on Tape in Race-Based Rant" — NewsBusters.
"LA Clippers Owner Donald Sterling is a Racist Democrat" — the Tea Party News Network.
Mother Jones writers,   and , got it right.
On Sunday, Michael Hiltzik, a Los Angeles Times columnist, tweeted that local voter records show Sterling to be a registered Republican "since 1998." We followed up on that, and a search of the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder's website for Sterling's name, date of birth, and address confirmed that he's registered as a Republican:
Donald Sterling Republican Registration from LA County

Two points.

It will serve no purpose to opine farther. You know what Limbaugh is about and who he speaks for and represents. Those people are not going to read the TPI. If they read at all, they will click-on to sites listed in the Mother Jones piece, or even more zany conservative sites.

Limbaugh listener ratings and Fox News's viewer ratings compared to other cable networks, speaks volumes. The ratings data show the level to which the US Populace has devolved into a gullible and hateful demographic that provides a solid base for Right-wing propaganda and sets a path for GOP economic policy that solely benefits the nation's Top 20 percent.

Limbaugh's comments about "sleeping with men," we should stand as moniker for conservative America along with frequent racial attacks and the even more frequent "fema-nazi" phrase.

Limbaugh Jumps To Accuse, Swipes At Obama, But Without Facts (Again)

A national political and social truism runs a course each day. For three hours five days a week, Rush Limbaugh sits in front of his "slave" (dedicated non-moving) microphone and spews the most insane demagoguery since Glenn Beck moved back to the radio from his green board on Fox News.

Limbaugh, as a far-right propagandist has his loyal listeners and no matter his orator, they buy it. They buy it, they love it and they return for more...each and every day. It doesn't matter Limbaugh rarely if ever includes any facts with his clown show, they buy every word. When he spews overt racist comments, they buy it. When he criticizes women who stand tall for their rights and fairness he labels them "fema-nazis;" They buy it and they love it.  When he pokes fun at people who have debilitating physical challenges; they buy it and love it and eat it up. They buy it all no matter the topic and no matter the level of disgust.

After the revelations of LA Clippers owners racist tirade with his concubine lover, Limbaugh without regard for facts and probably reacting to many conservative web pages reporting Donald Sterling as Democrat contributor. Yes, and a Sterling apparently from time to time contributes money in the realm of aid to his community. so be it, but.......

The Raw Story

Rush Limbaugh: Donald Sterling smeared as racist for not giving Obama ‘enough money’ (via Raw Story )
Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh on Monday suggested that Democrats had exposed NBA basketball team owner Don Sterling as a racist because he had not given President Barack Obama “enough money.” The gossip website TMZ on Saturday posted audio…

The Daily GOP Ignominious: Those Are Projection Numbers! "Man that is dense as fruitcake."

The following exchange occurred between me and this African American Conservative Stanley (last name omitted by The Pardu to avoid over exposure) on my friend Madge D. Owens Wall in regards to the following chart. Seriously, you can't make this stuff up!
Stanley XXXX- Man your "facts" even have problems. You show a chart of projections, not actual numbers. Man that is dense as fruitcake.
Eric Smith- So these numbers are "projections", huh Stanley? You are saying that these numbers are projected to occur in the future (that's what a projection is Stanley) even though these men were presidents in the past and you accuse me of being dense? Damn! ROFFLMAO!!!!!!!!

__________________________________________________________________

The Pardu

Do you see the problem with shallowness? What we have here is a person so immersed in conservative ideology and so consume with differentiating himself from others who see through GOP B/S, he makes a super stupid flub. Of course, we have to consider that person was moving fast and paid little attention to that to which he commented.  OK, if it makes you feel better for me to go there I will do so, but I will do so only with you agreement of considering the following.

Why not accept my premise that these people live in a shallow world where deep thinking and information supported knowledge simply does not exist.  They thrive off the quick hit, surface half-assimilation of information often handed to them by "playbook"/"lockstep" marching orders from GOP operatives.

Even if the person (Stanley above) only had a second of two to assimilate the images above, he surely should have recognized the faces of past US presidents!  If Stanley was over consumed with Obama Derangement, he should have noticed the object of his scorn (President Obama) was not depicted.

Now, what you have here is typical GOP ignominious. These people are the very reason Fox News has such high viewership and Rush Limbaugh continues to fulfill the performance requirements of his multi-million dollar contract. The person is the epitome of why we have media now speaking about the GOP taking over the US Senate.  They are people who allow others to fill their brains with mantra, B/S and propaganda.  And, then they traipse to the voting booths and vote for people like McCain/Palin or Romney/Ryan. Or, and much more obviously they troll around social media seeking opportunity to throw "poop" on all things Obama.

Limbaugh Drags America And His Sponsors Through the Pigpen of GOP Politics

During the 2014 State of the Union Address, a poignant and respectful moment of love for country, honor of a wounded and recuperating hero, and reverence where reverence was deserved from President Obama and the nation.......

.......was turned into this by an ideology leader of the GOP.

Rush Limbaugh: Obama Invited Army Ranger Cory Remsburg To Smear George Bush

Read more linked in title above

We have to ask. "How can Americans tolerate utter disrespect and daily disgust from Limbaugh?"

Is there a family out there who has lost a son or daughter, father or mother, aunt or uncle, in an American war find any level of interest in the GOP's Ideology leader?

Wasn't it horrible enough that an audience of conservatives booed a gay Army Officer inside Iraq in the run-up to the 2012 general elections?

Limbaugh is a drug addict (supposedly in rehab which last for life), highly compensated and respected by millions on the Right.  Why is it necessary to drag Sgt. Remsburg through the pigpen of GOP politics for sake of a "audience punch-line hit?" Moreover, how about using George W. Bush of all people to cap-off the punchline and a war hero as the setup object?

People who are addicted to Limbaugh and those who share his views of life and our society are one item. How about advertisers who continue to fund his guttural and shameful rhetoric?

Rush Limbaugh Replaced By ‘Hot’ Country – The GOP Says ‘Ouch’

More Major Sponsors Sail From Limbaugh's Sinking Ship

You know how you sometimes get an unexpected gift a week or so after Christmas? Here you go. Rush Limbaugh is being booted off yet another radio station. It’s a grand ole victory for the ever-growing BoycottRush/StopRush/FlushRush brigade. Oh heck, it’s a good thing for the whole country. Some folks on the right just don’t know it yet.

On December 26, 2013, Rush Limbaugh was put out to pasture by WPHR-FM, a Florida radio station serving the Vero Beach/Fort Pierce market. Seems the station tried on conservative talk radio for two and a half years; apparently it was not a good fit.

So they asked the people, the people spoke, and guess what – unlike the failing Clear Channel this station listened :

Welcome to the Treasure Coast’s brand new HOT COUNTRY station, 94.7 Hot Country!

We’ve been conducting surveys and music tests gathering information on your likes and dislikes regarding country music along the Treasure Coast.
The response was overwhelming and we learned a lot. Here’s what you told us:
You wanted less talk and more country music in the morning.
And it gets better. Not only is Rush Limbaugh getting dumped – he’s taking Hannity, Beck, Lewis, and Levin with him on this one. Happy New Year!
Timeline: The Grand Ole Party to The Grand Ole Opry:
On April 25, 2011, the station switched from Hot Adult Contemporary to conservative-based talk programming. Programming is primarily from the standard Clear Channel slate, including a simulcast of WJNO’s morning show, The Glenn Beck Program, The Rush Limbaugh Show, The Sean Hannity Show, The Mark Levin Show, The Jason Lewis Show, and Coast to Coast AM. WPHR uses the “Rush Radio” brand.

On December 26, 2013 WPHR changed their format to country, branded as “Hot Country 94.7″, under new owners R&S Radio.
Thank you to RS Radio, and all the relentless protesting, petitioning, and boycotting public who are fed up with hate media and continue to make a difference. To join in the cause:

Thank you, Richard Myers. Rest In Peace. We Will Finish This.
