Sunday Morning With Trump Talking Heads Earning Money Via Alternative Facts

Image result for kellyanne conway

Early today CNN's Jake Tapper sat with Trump staffer Kelly Anne Conway for what amounted to a lengthy alternate facts segment. During the segment, Conway apparently stated or implied trump wasn't one who lies. We will join that segment in a but. First, let's remind ourselves (as if we really need to remind ourselves) of Trump's utter lack of veracity, honesty, and credibility.

The day after Donald Trump's inauguration as the 45th President of the United States, he commenced his propaganda and self-defense campaign via dispatching his (then) Press Secretary to declare his inauguration audience was the largest ever.

Spicer was clearly reading text handed to him via the White House Staff ad seemed to have a touch of Trump hyperbole laced throughout the pressers' sentences.  The Tampa Bay Times Fact-checker, Politifact rated the statements "Pants on Fire", while photographs offered an irrefutable counter to Trump's crowd size lie.
Pants on Fire!
Spicer"That was the largest audience to witness an inauguration, period."
— Sean Spicer on Saturday, January 21st, 2017 in a press conference

Anyone who has access to a television and international news knows Donald Trump has a mental pathology which leads to lying at a record level. Trump staffers who agree to television interviews to counter the reality of Trump as a pathological liar, simply have no regard for their own credibility. They work for money and they work for the now Vs. the future.  There is little to no future in being archived in US History as a presstitute for a president who lies at an unequaled level.

National press and media have documented the stupefying level of Trump's lack of veracity.  One very revealing graphic related to Trump's lying was published in The New York Times.

Image result for New York Times trump lies vs obama lies graphic
Since we have referenced a few sources which you might consider liberal (or progressive if the word liberal doesn't become you), it is worthwhile to also show how one Fox News host views Trump's administration with full acceptance of his lies are part of the problem.  And, yes America we do have a problem.

Neil Cavuto

Now let's move to the Jake Tapper interview (short version and the full interview, if you wish)
The full interview

No matter the words Conway uses to deflect away from Trump's lying, rational Americans and people across the globe can see the truth for themselves.  While we wouldn't expect Conway nor Huckabee Sanders to declare Oh yes he lies, we once held a sense of decency and respect for the majority of US presidents. Certainly, each former president was busted for lying at various degrees. Bush (DUBYA) most definitely took the nation to the precipice of an abyss of national death, Trump in 16 months has set the nation on a path of no return.

Trump Economic Czar Admits a Budget Lie And Confronted About GDP 3% Growth

If you were told a person lied 85% of the time, would you believe anything out of the person says? Do you think the person would hire people who weren't masters at lying with the straight face of a cobra just before the killing strike?  No, Donald J. Trump would not more hire a person to know as the embodiment of a truth teller than you would hire a pathological liar? You now better and Trump knows best for that which is his world.

The likes of Kellyanne "alternative facts" Conway: (first two minutes)
Imagine going down in US History as a "presstitute" who contributed a lexicon item to historical archives. Alternate facts.

If you visited the Wiki link you know of the other Trump presstitute, San Spicer, who has the unenviable job of five days per week White House Press Corp briefings. He occupies the ultimate liar's platform, and he performs his job very poorly.

Rational Americans and rational viewers worldwide know the role of Conway and Spicer: The Liars Bureau.  That group of people who perform on-call lying to facilitate the Trump agenda (inclusive of lying to cover Trump's lies and keystone fumbling).

How about Trump's economic team hires?" The reality is Trump hired equally competent liars to staff a cabinet which will impact the nation for decades to come. Read and watch as Trump's Budget Director is forced to admit an outright lie amongst the less easily discernible lies in the Trump/Ryan Trumponomics budget (AKA wealthy Americans tax cut).

Apparently, the Trumponomics budget has a $2 trillion lie (intentional misrepresentation) inserted for a reason only a Trump hire could attempt to rationalize.

NBC News

Excerpt
White House budget director Mick Mulvaney didn't deny the math, saying it was done "on purpose," during a press briefing Tuesday.
"I'm aware of the criticisms and would simply come back and say there's other places where we were probably overly conservative in our accounting," he said. "We stand by the numbers."

Mulvaney on Trump's Budget Plan: It is a 'Taxpayer First Budget'

On another front, the lying Mulvaney ran up against South Carolina's fiscal conservative Mark Sanford and was summarily labeled the bearer of a "lie" regarding potential 3% GDP as a benefit of Trumponomics.

Management Acumen: Trump Is Management Acumen Deficient

Stephen R. Covey
“Start with the end in mind. ”
― Stephen R. CoveyThe 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

Marcus Buckingham
“In the minds of great managers, consistent poor performance is not primarily a matter of weakness, stupidity, disobedience, or disrespect. It is a matter of miscasting.”
― Marcus Buckingham

________________________________

The quote from the noted speaker on management provides discernible verbiage to support Donald Trump is no manager. If you can twist your brain to accept Trump s a manager Vs. a Tweeter freak, then I will assert he is the weakest of managers.

That said, let move into Trump and Trumpism.

The Guardian
"Beyond the scandalous behavior of Puzde and Flynn, there’s the simple fact that Trump’s picks to fill top slots in his administration seem to have little or no relevant experience for the titles he expects them to fill. That’s bad management, pure and simple."
 Background on Flynn and Puzder
Michael Flynn, whose resignation as national security adviser so early in a presidential tenure was unprecedented. With just 24 days in office, Flynn is the shortest-serving national security adviser in history, the average tenure being 2.6 years.

.....it was reaffirmed two days later, when Andrew Puzder, his pick to lead the department of labor, was forced to withdraw, making him only the 12th cabinet nominee ever to do so.
We shouldn't forget Paul Manafort and Monica Crowley...

Since, we have not reportable cases of major flubs from the likes of Rick Perry, Ben Carson we will reserve comment there. We will, however, not hesitate to identify Reince Priebus and Stave Bannon as complete administration wrecks. We also remind Trump placed Bannon on the National Security Council (along with Russia's Mike Flynn).

It serves no rational purpose to comment on Trump's Wall street appointees, but we reserve the right to go there with the first opportunity. That opportunity will arrive.

We offer the most glaring example of Trump's total ineptness in selecting and hiring competent staff: We offer Sean Spicer, Press Secretary.

Rachel Maddow on the bumbling and misplaced Spicer.

We will not pile on.

Trump And His White House Team; Absent Honesty

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump
Big announcement by Ford today. Major investment to be made in three Michigan plants. Car companies coming back to U.S. JOBS! JOBS! JOBS!
6:36 AM - 28 Mar 2017

As is frequently the case with Trump and his cabal of information purveyors, he rides a tide of reality via affixing a lie. The jobs coming to the Michigan Ford plants have been in the works since 2015. According to the company CEO, Joe Hinrichs, there is something wrong with the Trup claim.

“These Michigan Assembly Plant and Romeo Engine plant announcements are consistent with what we agreed to and talked about with the UAW in 2015 negotiations,” said Hinrichs.

Reuters offers a detailed review and report on Ford's Jobs news.

You know by now that Donald Trump is a liar to the level of "bigly." It should also not take a leap of your imagination to know, pathological liar surround themselves with people of the same ilk. Actually, the habitual liar is known to practice the art of lying from morning till night 365 days a year; it is what they are and they can not avoid lying. Another dynamic of the deep liar is his/her need for facilitators.

Trump's family knows he is a habitual liar. Moreover, anyone who works for Trump also know of his psychological deficiency. There is another set of people who will also become immersed in issues related to trump's lies: International leaders, adversaries and commerce professionals other nations. It is a serious matter and with each passing day we are seeing and experiencing the backwash from Trump's lies; some of which are at the level of an ocean tsunami. While, other lies lay at the level of silly and ridiculous.

As I watched last night's Rachel Maddow show, a couple of segments stood out as classic TRMS (research and broadcast delivery), Maddow's "A" Block story was, as is always the case, lengthy, but critical in delivering perspective of our lying White House denizens.

Trump Care?

We are not going to succumb to what seems a Trump and Priebus dirty trick via following the MSNBC Trump's taxes (2005) subterfuge.  Yes, we firmly subscribe to the school of thought which believes Trump himself mailed the innocuous document to deflect from today's news.

As we await the congressional hearings involving FBI Director (and Trump su[orter) Comey, let;s visit with TrumpCare.

Gallup offers a readout of how a survey group responded to Trump's involvement in Paul Ryan's TrumpCare.

Gallup (details via this link)

While not a large sampling, a sampling nonetheless.

The Gallup chart seems to reflect issues related to Trump Care from another perspective check out this CBP chart.

We will end with a quick segment regarding Trump's Press Secretary. Imagine serving as a Press Secretary for a person who lies far more than he speaks truthfully.
We will revisit this issue later in the day.

Trump, Spicer, And The Shame Of It All

Are the kiddies asleep yet?

WARNING: May include humor, some slight satire, and a sprinkling of truth - proceed with caution:

LIVE from the Situation Room at the Mar-a-Lago resort, it's time once again for Sean "Oops, I Did It Again" Spicer's "Alternative News Re-Whine," where we ignore the real news and just focus on the snowflake so-fake news.

Top headline this week is the Orange Maestro's address to Congress, where the Orange One mused how great and terrific he was, how sad his enemies were, and the Republicans in Congress nodded their heads in loving approval, blowing kisses and letting their arms float up in a openhanded salute.

In other, not so important news, there was another terrorist attack, following up attacks in Bowling Green, Atlanta, and Sweden. This, according to Baghdad Sean occurred at La La Land, where the Hollywood elites allowed a Muslim to reportedly kidnap a hostage named "Oscar."

According to Spice Boy, the "snowflakes" in Hollywood were so busy picking on the Great, the Holy One, the Orange Master of the Universe that they screwed up big time.

The President of the United States, Steve "Dark Lord" Bannon, continued to have no comment on the news, saying instead he was too busy pulling strings. Plus, it was not night time yet, and he is "allergic" to daylight.

The Other One in the White House, whose words and eloquent tweets have inspired a nation, has stated, however, that "it was so bad, so sad, the Hollywood terrorists led by mastermind Meryl Streep, who is just so overrated, are just sooo inept, they just can't do anything right, and their ratings were so low. I mean, I got higher ratings on my wonderful show, "The Apprentice."

"Sphincter" Spicer revealed that there was no truth in the rumor that an unidentified Russian agent was seen backstage handing out red Valentine's day cards to Pricewaterhousecoopers accountants, thanking them for their wonderful work tabulating electoral votes during the recent election.

When asked his opinion of the implication that Russia may have been involved in this terrorist attack, Vladimir (Ras)Putin responded by saying, "Nonsense, nyet, that is complete nonsense. I was not at the Oscars talking to accountants and saying what a beautiful woman that Emma Stone is, you should tweet a picture of hers - I was not even there, I was in the Balkans riding barechested on my faithful horse, Donny. I like Warren Beatty, he did movie called "Reds," I would never hurt him, maybe Steve Harvey, but I would never interfere with American affairs. It is totally Bolshevik to even imply that. I am disgusted. You Americans just enjoy leaking false information, you even come to my country leaking. I have video. And, when you give me back Exxon oil? My good friend, Tillerson, says I get back my Exxon oil soon, yes?"

At that time, Clown Crier Spicer interrupted (Ras)Putin to say there was no news in Russia, they were just testing some missiles and subs near the East Coast, nothing to be afraid of, unlike all the terrorist attacks being launched by those mean liberals, fake media and courts, immigrant mothers, Muslim actors, the FBI (this time, they were good last time), and Hollywood elites.

"We need to focus on real news," added the Orange Highness, snort. The liberals are so mean, so so mean. It's just sad. I think Obama is behind all of this. There are also rumors that Republicans have been reported missing, not to imply that there is any dasterdly deed behind all of this, I mean, I didn't say it, but others are talking. There are milk cartons with pictures of missing Republican lawmakers. And, even my faithful Eva Braun, er, I mean, Kellyanne Conway has been missing ever since she was seen tweeting among a group of black people." Snort.

Bubblegum Spicer confirmed that Propaganda Minister Conway has been missing, last seen on a White House sofa, but there is no truth to the rumor that she was accidently deported hawking Ivanka scarves.

Spice Boy also added that there was also no truth to the rumor that Edukation Secretary Betsy DeVos had been homeschooling the Pricewaterhousecooper accountants in "mastamastic, er, I mean, arizmectic, sigh, I mean math."

The Orange Mastedon then continued with his rant, "Fake news, all fake news! These liberals are just so mean, all they do is whine. Sad. My administration and I will never whine and cry about what people say about me. I mean, I tweet every night reminding my supporters that. And, they love me. I had the biggest inauguration ever! I have friends on Facebook who tell me that they comment on their friends' pages that they are sick and tired of liberals moaning and whining ..."

When a reporter from the Washington Post interrupted and stated, "Your supporters say they do not moan and whine on their own pages because they spend so much time moaning and whining on the pages of friends they don't agree with . . ."

The Master Debater countered, "FAKE NEWS! FAKENEWS! Ban him! Deport him! Not true. So sad. Always picking on me, poor, poor me. I just love people, and all I get is this, people trying to obstruct everything I'm trying to do to make this country grate. I would never do that to anyone."

Mar-a-Lago Door Bouncer Mitch "Tooter Turtle" McConnell agreed, saying, "It . . . is wrong . . . to obstruct . . . a President . . . from doing . . . his job . . . I have . . . . no respect . . . for anyone . . . who would . . . do . . . that."

With that, Spicer Tickler said that time was up for this edition of the "White House Re-Whine" and that he just had one more update, that the the Swedish IKEA agents are still piecing together the massacre in Sweden and that the obviously Muslim terrorist group, known only as ABBAs, is still at large. The White House will continue to block, ban, and deport un-Americans everywhere.

Frederick Douglass still had no comment.

The Daily GOP ignominious:Town Halls, Coal Miners, Trump Dissonance , And The Coloring Book

Town Hall anyone? according to Trump's number one White House presstitute, what we are seeing are not real (not reality). Basically, Spicer hit the Press Room stage with what Trump's Number two presstitute calls alternative facts."

ABC Breaking News | Latest News Videos

It is called malcontent. I actually believe many of the people in these meetings are suffering from chronic cognitive dissonance or voter remorse (if you prefer). Before our Twitter video journey, PBS published a piece about attendance at the Town Halls.

From open town hall rebellion to a constituency Trump used to sway the hearts of many on the Right; the less informed who actually believe the coal industry has a real future.  If we accept their desperation in voting for Trump, why can't they accept their role in the GOP's fight to repeal the very healthcare laws they have used to sustain life.
Couldn't these people see Trump as a GOP Trojan Horse?
If you feel their are GOP mavericks about who will eventually save you (and us) from Trump, think again.

Trump Uses Our Tax Dollars To Lobby Against Nordstroms

Image result for trump targets nordstroms

We are at mid-week and the Trump machine is working diligently to fire-up his daughter's shoe line sales.  The issue must be one of the more pressing issues across the globe: a Trump losing money

Huffington Post and multiple other media are reporting on how the 45th President of the United States spent part of his morning.

@Nordstrom
My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @NordstromShe is a great person -- always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!
9:51 AM - 8 Feb 2017
President Donald Trump launched a social media attack from the White House Wednesday against Nordstrom, after the retail chain decided this month not to carry his daughter Ivanka Trump’s fashion line
“My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @Nordstrom,” Trump complained on Twitter Wednesday morning. “She is a great person — always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!” (Read more linked above "HUFFPO")
Let's consider a couple of points. First, Trump would certainly "fire" any employee, business unit or corporate division which failed to meet financial goals. "You're Fired!" Next, is there actually a case to be made related to Nordstrom's financial fiduciary responsibilities to its shareholders' (owners).

While I don't have access to Nordstrom's market and consumer data, I think it safe to assume the retailers' market niche is highly populated with upwardly mobile millennials on the high-end of the middle-income strata. Nordstrom's customer base may significantly differ from the customer base of Macy's, Sak's Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Lord and Taylor's, even Dillards.
An Ivanka Trump-branded blouse is seen for sale at off-price retailer Winners in Toronto last week.
New York Daily News Reports Canadian retailer "Winners" price drop.
Take a look at a chart from a Fortune Magazine piece.

First a quick digression. Why would potential consumers drop-off in purchasing Ivanka's retail lines? nORDSTROMSIs it possible rational non-conservative women who are less likely to be supporters take exception to Trump's over-the-top lack of regard for women? The question is rhetorical.

Let's take a look at how that previously mentioned group of survey respondents responded to questions about ;her clothing line.

Image result for Ivanka shoe sales reveue
Fortune published an additional piece this afternoon which includes a list of retailers who have dropped his daughter;s brand (lines).  As I read the piece, I couldn't help but wonder why Trump is targeting Nordstrom's. Hell, Neiman also dropped Ivanka's lines!

While we have no solid reason for his daughter's failing brand, we have to accept consumers have choices. Choices which include how and where we spend our (unlike the Trumps) hard earned money. If any reason women refrain from spending their money on a brand with the Trump
name (Ivanka) highly affixed, how should a retailer respond? The retailer has a responsibility to leverage its shelf space and properly manage its inventory. Where does that leave us with Trump's business of the day activity?

It leaves us with .......

Your weekly dose of "alternative facts." How about the White House version of Nordstroms drops Ivanka's shoe line because "they don't like Trump?"
Would you believe this guy is paid for this stuff? Now, what happens when Nordstroms opens up a batch of whoop-ass based on data related to the retailer's decision to drop the line? (See example above). Moreover, the reason for the lack of sales may have been influenced by Trump's affect and aura, but we can rest assured Nordstroms, based their decision on data, not politics or social regression from the GOP. Forethought is a powerful trait; the Neo-GOP party leader is making a huge mistake.

Nordstrom's responded to a twitter user as follows.

Image result for Ivanka shoe sales revenue

The perfect corporate response. If people aren't buying Ivanka? "You're Fired!"

Now, about that president who spends White House time vilifying a retailer.
