CNN.... BE AWARE OF RAND PAUL LIES!

Rand Paul told New Hampshire audience the following: ..."fight for your right to be left alone." Wonder if he feels the same about Cliven Bundy's refusal to pay land taxes and his defiant stand against efforts to collect said taxes?

GOP Problem alert!

As CNN's Dana Bash interviews GOP presidential aspirant, Rand Paul, a response to a question about gay marriage drew a conspicuously troublesome response. Paul used that favored GOP word: "states."

States Rights is mere code for government differentiation the leads to discrimination. Recall the "States" during the Civil Rights Era of the 60s. Imagine states with legislatures ruled by Koch Brothers dark money with politicians subservient to the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).

"Well, no, the states will end up making the decisions on these things," Paul replied. "I think there's a religious connotation to this. I also believe people ought to be treated fairly under the law. I see why if the marriage contract conveys certain things, that if you want to marry another woman, you can do that and have a contract. But the thing is that the religious connotation of marriage that has been going on for thousands of years, I still want to preserve that."

Paul has gone on record in the past with his views that private business owners should not be forced to serve or provide accommodation to all who wish to patron the establishment.

GOP Problem alert!

If the US (and voters) allows states to call the shots on fair and balanced life in the nation, our quality of life will deteriorate like a fizzled-out Alka Seltzer (Tm). We are seeing state legislatures reversing voters election preferences regarding LGBT Rights. We are seeing cases in a couple of states where legislators are forbid from using the words "Climate change." How about the reality of GOP governed states that are refusing life sustaining medical care via the ACA based in pure political obstruction?

Paul's continued affinity for states rights and the ironclad GOP lock-step commitment to state's rights spells doom for a comprehensive fair, balanced and equal nation under the law.

GOP Social Tree: Pence Reaches Back To The Dark Ages, GOP Regressivism, And The INDY Mayor Distances

Embedded image permalink
Contrast is contrast, if you live on the left of the chart you are a social dinosaur.
The meme above should also include clearly compassion regarding sexual orientation!

I signed SEA 101 today to ensure religious liberty is fully protected under IN law

Indiana Governor Pence claims his Religious Freedom Bill is not anti-gay. Republicans really have not learned the power of visuals, research and archived data via technology.
The next branch of our tree probably explains the Twitter post just below. Pence, completely fall apart on ABC's Sunday news show. He refused to answer direct question that were easily answerable via a "Yes" or a "No."

ABCs Stephanopoulos Grills Gov Mike Pence On

Canceling scheduled appearances?  Wow, how one's actions influences one's future actions.
Soooo, Pence says the Indiana RFRA is no different than religious freedom laws in other states.  Well, typical of Pence, he lies.
Extreme bigot Pence says he is stunned by the number of people with gay friends! Really, I will wager Pence has a gay friend or two who are not open about their sexuality.
You know what is going to take place this weekend, don't you?  Hint: It is a major sporting event.  Hint Two: College basketball season is coming to a crescendo end.  Hint Three (for the real non sports minds): "FINAL FOUR."   Do you know the location of the Final Four?  The event will take place in Indiana's major metropolitan center: Indianapolis.  Final Four in Indianapolis means mega revenue for the city.  OOPS it is clear the Governor and his legislative cronies are not concerned about he state as the administrative hub for the NCAA Basketball Tournament and the obviously care even less about Indianapolis hosting the event.

The risk of Major revenue losses due to GOP Bigotry is unacceptable to one noted Indiana elected official. In the wake of Pence's signature bigotry against the LGBT community, the mayor of Indianapolis has declared his city's abhorrence to the law. Correction...I keyboarded the word "wake" above to denote the backwash that has Pence struggling to keep his head above water. I should have used the word "tsunami"; it better describes the responses to Pence's homophobia. The mayor speaks...linked here:

"Indianapolis will not be defined by this. Indianapolis welcomes everybody" ... just in time for the Final Four.

The following article and embedded links include information and comment about a recent study about the past practice of forced sterilization of human beings.  Recent reports about sterilization happen to be in the State of North Carolina. My intent is in no way to point a disparaging finger at the state as it is not a living breathing thinking entity; people perpetrated the practice.  Additionally, there were 29 other states which practiced the same horrible medical procedure.  I also have a few friends and relatives in live in the State of North Carolina and I certainly have no desire for either of those people to feel 'put-upon' by this screed.
