Trump's Economy?

Image may contain: 1 person, text

All that Steve Schmidt stated or states hit the nail squarely in the center. We have witnessed three very notable and historic GOPers leave the party (albeit it temporary) with the ascension of Trump to party leaders. The GOP is Trump's party and serves as a facilitating platform for Trump's obvious desire to be king.

Would it surprise you to know there is a Tea Party movement to move additional states to the point of falling-in in support of a US Constitutional Convention? If you have grown to recognize the anti-US Government core of the Tea Party, it shouldn't surprise you that with a retention both House of Congress this fall there could be a movement to fast-track a convention.  All things considered, would it surprise you if one significant conservative deliverable form such a convention would be to remove the current term-limits on serving in the White House?

Seem far-fetched?

For anyone who finds the prospect far-fetched, I posit there are enough supporters across the US to offer those who love and support Trump an opportunity to serve in a way no other president has served. How does such a path become cleared and paved? Answer: Trump carnival barking lying and competent propaganda outlets akin to what follows.

Image may contain: text

The US has many citizens which I call LIVS (Low Information Voters). People who vote on a whim and people who vote based on information from sources which deal in "alternative facts" (as per Kelly Anne Conway).

The people pictured above aren't people who have any interest in facts.

While Trump offers daily opportunity to run accuracy analysis via fact-checking organizations, today's fact-check comes from PBS via the Associated Press. The article is narrowly focused on Trumps lies regarding the US economy.

PBS recently joined virtually all credible media in offering a fact check of Trump's claims regarding the US economy and Jobs. The PBS article is based on an Associated Press Fact-check. Linked here.

A few images which point to the real fix for the US economy and the reality of Trump's lies.  I do agree

If the "Y" Axis and the "X" Axis of the chart don't work for discerning the essence of the chart, here's another version.

While it should be necessary, I find it important to remind readers what provided the stimulus for the current economy. Did I use the word "Stimulus?" Stimulus as in the The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, nicknamed the Recovery Act and commonly referred to as the "Stimulus."

The following are old charts, but each shows the impetus for the US recovery while making a point which I will state after the charts.

Trump should be asking for celebration that he, to date, has not reversed the gains from a Post-Bush Obama economic team.  The public should remind Trump and his team, economic ups and downs take time; accepting not crashing the Obama economy is nothing more than Trumpism propaganda.

One last item.

As Trump's World Turns: Conservative Support, Love Of Russia And Closing In On Butina

Image result for trump russia
On the nonverbal weakness

The common thread among what follows is a sad and unsurprising reality. The GOP and millions in the nation have actually moved their existential affiliation quality of life (associations) to the backyard and potential dog chain of Putin and his Kleptocrat state: Russia.

Here is one example of the extent to which American's conservatives have aligned with a historic and ongoing enemy of the states. Putin and his enemy state are not friends of the US. Take a look at the horror of a mind laden with Republicanism and oozing with a love of Putin
.

Image may contain: 1 person, smiling, outdoor and text
If you feel the image above is a one-off happenstance, think again. I suspect there are millions more in conservative America who display a US Flag while harboring sweet drippy thoughts of Putin and his world.

The Facebook Page Lab Pro Lib posted a graphic from Axios's Lazaro Gamio compiled a recent Survey Monkey poll of slightly over 2000respondents.

Axios
SurveyMonkey online poll conducted July 16-17, 2018 among a total sample of 2,100 adults living in the United States. Margin of error of ±3 percentage points; Poll methodology.

The US can repel any invading force or nation when the prospect of invasion is military action. But, when one-third of the nation (considering the 2016 vote spit) is offering itself up as a fertile filled for the nation killing authoritarianism of the likes of Putin, even the US has a shaky third leg.

The third leg of 63 million Americans came in third in the numbers which mattered in the 2016 General Elections.  Putin's fertile field.  Also notice the number which sits atop the count: the uncommitted, non-interested, non-voting, and foolishly gullible who may have fallen for Russian operatives. Operatives working in Russian Internet rooms ad Russians which are in the US as unequivocally as was clearly shown via the seven-year run of the FX TV series, The Americans.

If we combine thought of the images which we used to start his piece and the reality of the unfolding story of Russian operative Butina, the reality is dire and the danger to the nation is real. Following conservatives and their political party will prove a challenging going forward.

Now, let's take a look at an unfolding picture of a nation which millions in the nation find palatable. Our look at that nation is only possible via the gullible minds, sexual proclivities, and the reality of an American gun culture.

Before we embark on another detailed and relevant segment from the Rachel Maddow Show, we will remind what flows has the GOP and America conservatives at its targeted subjects.

TRMS

The Maddow segment was, as expected, detailed and informative. If you did not view the MSNBC segment or prefer the visuals of an infographic on the matter, what follows may better suit your information absorption. The Infographic includes names delineated int he Maddow segment.

Talking Points Memo

The common thread, guns, the GOP, conservatives, and Russians.

We also offer a quick look at another aspect of probable Russian influence on GOP politics and decisions from the current US President.

At the 5:07-minute mark of the following video Steve Schmidt, former GOP strategist and campaign adviser to John McCain's 2008 campaign, spoke on a Hardball panel about the danger inherent in Trump's love of Putin.  Schmidt speaks for a little over a minute and a half.

We most definitely have a problem in American conservatism.

Trump Gazette: Trade, Presidential Standing, Lunatics, GOP Strategist Quits

The Gazette: Reading For High Information Voters Only

Former Republican strategist Steve Schmidt has stated publicly he has left the GOP and will vote for the party which fosters a more humane philosophy and practice (paraphrased, an actual quote will follow below).

I am not surprised with Schmidt's disdain and now forsaking his former party as the party no longer resembles what we older Americans once viewed in opposition, but with respect for conservative principles (other than lies about FISCAL CONSERVATISM). The party has never been the party of fiscal conservatism and certainly should not use that moniker outside of its gullible and dedicated base any longer.

While a simple Google search will yield a plethora of articles and images which delineate or depict the fallacy of GOP Fiscal Conservatism, I am going to post a quick glance chart (and link) regarding the false moniker. The chart is an excerpt from a reader's comment related to the article linked below.

Is fiscal conservatism dying in the USA?

More Debt on top of Debt...

Before we move on it should be noted Obama's spending in his first two years relate directly to efforts to dig the nation out of the nation killing Bush Great Recession.

A President who really did not divorce himself from his money-making machinery.. despite clear lies he would do just that. The following video exhibition is over four minutes in duration, but for the High information Voter (HIV), the length of the video is mere food for understanding the true Trump.  If you are LIV (Low Information Voter) You may want to skip the video.

Doesn't the nation really deserve better? The GOP and American conservatives have once again failed the nation at the voting booth and this time placed us all on the precipice of sure doom if Trump is allowed to remain in the White House.

Trade Policy Via Trump and his Economic Team

As we approached the 2016 campaign, I watched and listened to a couple of so-called; economic experts who would become the core of Trump's economic policy.

The most visible of the team.....

Wikipedia indicates Navarro never met with Trump during the 2016 Campaign.  Stephen Moore is a well known conservative economic mouth-piece and has suffered at least one major credibility blemish...

WIKI excerpt
In the 1970s, Navarro served as a policy analyst for the Urban Services Group, the Massachusetts Energy Office, and the United States Department of Energy.[11]
In 2012, Navarro directed and produced a poorly received[12] documentary film based on his book, Death by China.[13] The film was released under the same title and narrated by Martin Sheen.

Navarro's policy prescriptions include that "U.S. should be tough on trade, crack down on intellectual property theft, tax Chinese exports, combat Chinese mercantilism, [and] bring jobs home."[14]

WIKI excerpt
In the 2014 Kansas City Star opinion piece "What's the matter with Paul Krugman? Moore responded to Krugman's opinion piece "Charlatans, Cranks and Kansas."[14][15] Moore claimed that job creation had been superior in low-taxation states during the five years ending June 2009 following the recession. After substantial factual errors were uncovered in Moore's opinion piece, the Kansas City Star indicated that it would no longer print Moore's work without "thorough factchecking." [16][17][18]
As we watch the past few months of Trump's Trade decisions and subsequent reactions from key economic partners, something in Trump's economic White House is headed in the wrong direction.

Business Insider recently published a piece related to Trump's Trade policy and fears of a possible recession.

Did you think for one second we would leave the Trump's Trade (FUBAR) policy to one-piece from Business Insider. Here are a few linked pieces regarding retaliatory tariffs from Canada and China.

Texas steel pipe manufacturer becomes casualty of Trump's trade war

China is slamming the US with $34 billion in tariffs — here are the states that will be hurt the most

Canada hits $13 billion of US goods with new tariffs

Ultimately you know who will suffer most from Trump's economic decisions. You and I will pay much higher prices and Americans will lose jobs. It doesn't take a Harvard educated economist to understand how this will turn out.

Pardons as a Matter of his power

As part of Trump's king-like use of the pardoning powers of the US President, he pardoned known racist, conservative propaganda guru, and convicted felon Denish D'Souza. It isn't necessary to rehash the social terrorism of Desouza, but it is important to show the full scope of his inner core beliefs.
The Newsweek article about D'Souza social terrorism is a must (quick) read: linked.

When [pardoning power is used as a pathway strategy for exercising the power in the future, the nation experiences the pardoning of a literal conservative deplorable like D'Souza. It is clear, Trump planes to pardon certain of his cabal should the legal system narrow=in and focus of certain individuals.

As Trump World Turns: "Civility"

Civility?

The Zara jacket is an attire item from a company with a history of shady market development and product development.  Fortune ran this piece three days ago. It should be noted the retailer also has other attire items which are free of the snarky message Trump's wife chose to very visibly flourish.

The Trump's are marketing and messaging fiends. Wearing the message jacket indicated a motive. Of course, we cannot guess the motive, but we can suggest the jacket was most inappropriate when associated with the trip to the most attractive and humane of child jails in Texas.

As issues of civility flourish post the comments of Congresswoman Maxine Waters....and not before.  Another Trump messaging opportunity emerged via Huckabee Sanders being asked to leave a restaurant.

Of course, Trump joined the fray with what his supporters will find a "civil; Tweet.

CNBC
"The Red Hen Restaurant should focus more on cleaning its filthy canopies, doors and windows (badly needs a paint job) rather than refusing to serve a fine person like Sarah Huckabee Sanders," Trump tweeted on Monday. "I always had a rule, if a restaurant is dirty on the outside, it is dirty on the inside!"
It seems Trump either sent someone to check out the restaurant after the Sanders; eviction or he (I suspect) viewed the images of the restaurant and developed a set of personal observation he could share with his sycophant supporters and the nations' gullible.

A tidbit from the CNBC linked article (above).
In February, the Virginia Department of Health found no violations at the property. Inspectors gave the restaurant, which claims to be Lexington's first farm-to-table eatery, its highest possible rating.
I digress while moving from issues of civility to Trump's lack of veracity. Civility for Trump and conservatism seems to exist as a form of the one-way mirror (Police Station like).

Do you recall 2016?

More regarding Steve Schmidt.

Frankly, it is refreshing to know a few Republicans view the nation's 45th President for a rational perspective. The few who speak out certainly do not offset recent reports of 90% support for all things Trump from the nation's conservatives.

Fox News Demagogue Suffers Advertiser Abandonment (Video)

Fox News Demagogue Fails To Consider The Power of Young activist and corporate responsibility

Image result for laura ingraham show advertisers

David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it. (Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA...totally predictable given acceptance rates.) https://t.co/wflA4hWHXY— Laura Ingraham (@IngrahamAngle) March 28, 2018
You know David Hogg as a leader in the flourishing #Our Lives Matter movement. Is it possible to possess a rational mind and fail to recognize the downside and gutter cesspool acts of attacking a 17-year-old who dares speak out against the guns Americans gun culture?

How did the 17-year-old activist respond?  He responded as a person with social media wherewithal, rational thought processes and the activist he responded with a huge weapon. A weapon which carried a stinging lesson for consumer products companies which advertise on Fox News.  His Twitter response.

After Hogg took to his Twitter account with an exhortation to flood Ingraham's advertisers with concerns about their support for the Fox News demagogue, show advertisers quickly responded. Yesterday afternoon four advertisers dropped the show; as of this morning, eight advertisers have withdrawn ads from the demagogue's show.

Ingraham's apology (CNBC)

Of course, Americans who are of rational mind know Laura Ingraham is a far-right demagogue who can find no wrong in anything Trump, nor any wrong in anything anti-NRA or anything pro-gun restrictions.  Those same Republicans know more about Ingraham. She now has a show on FOXPEN (Fox Propaganda and Entertainment Network) as well as a radio show.  If you are aware of the daily propaganda mission of Trump's most admired TV network you know she is now on Fox solely due to the firing of the network's former flagship demagogue, Bill O'Reilly.

Ingraham fills O'Reilly ratings laden Fox broadcasts slot like an expensive leather glove. She feeds Right-wing viewer propaganda sponges comparable to O'Reilly with a slightly less inclination for on-air racism.  While she is less inclined towards weekly forays into feeding the bigoted minds of Fox News viewers, she never misses a beat when she finds an opportunity. How better to tickling her Twitter audience while offering favored remarks to the NRA than to attack one of the now very visible Parkland Shooting survivors?

Cable news has covered Ingraham's grotesque tweet, but as is generally the case MSNBC exceeds other networks in exposing the Fox News underbelly.  I don't believe there is an on-camera response to Ingraham which surpasses the scope and depth of comments from Republican Steve Schmidt (MSNBC contributor).

"Another example of an adult acting terribly". MSNBC contributor Steve Schmidt (Republican..Correction: rational Republican)

Of the 13 advertisers posted in Hoog's Twitter post, nine have to return corporate decency via dropping Ingraham. O'Reilly was fired from Fox News due to an avalanche of fleeing advertisers. Wonder how long FOXPEN with value Ingraham's entertainment potential as the day progresses?

Let's end with a segment from The Last Word (it includes additional comments about Ingraham's advertisers) along with a quick segment regarding #OurLives Matter as we move towards the November mid-term elections. Steve Kornacki and potential election impact (poll data).

The Daily GOP Ignominious: Trump Receives What Seems Ordered Praise

Image result for Pence sucks up to trump

Watch and listen after Trump has Ben ( I lost my mind ) Carson deliver a brief open session pray.  Mike Pence has handed to floor to offer effusive and unrelenting praise (suckling) upon Donald Trump.  The minute is actually shameful and very much child-like.  Imagine a full grown man offering a thank you to Trump at least 12 times in the course of a two-minute suckling session.

Also notice how Trump received his (helping of) praise; Arms folded and as smug as any imagined videos of Nero, Adolf Hitler or for that matter, Saddam Hussein.  As you watch the brief video, think of how you can find any rational thought associated with believing this was yet another "please the base" praise session.

For the non-believers excuse the opening prayer.

The following Twitter comment is about as germane as they come Yes, Pence showed extreme lackeyism which seemed ordered by Trump.

Steve Schmidt from GOP strategist and campaign official for John McCain's failed run for the White House in 2008, simply nailed it.

The appalling sycophancy led by the Vice President at yesterday’s cabinet meeting is an affront to our Democratic norms. The President should not be venerated by his cabinet the way a pack of miscreant cronies would bow and scrape to an autocrat leading a banana republic.
