A Special Screed: Colorado Planned Parenthood (The Latest US Terroist)

A Friend of the TPI, Brenda Kay Richards, and the Screed of the weekend. The following comments are from a Facebook page.  The initial set of verbiage was the original post, followed by a response to a person who responded and the last November 29th, post is a follow-up addition. (24 hours after the initial post).

It is both profoundly sickening and damn disgusting how the American media, Fox News and CNN in particular, are attempting to twist and distort Friday's tragic shooting in Colorado Springs as being about abortion and Planned Parenthood. Instead of having the guts and the consciousness to initiate a long overdue discussion about how yet another angry white male with a high powered weapon went on a rage filled killing spree, that took the lives of three individuals, including a police officer who was the father to two small children.

While the bellowing Carnival Barker aka Donald Trump and his fellow conservatives shamelessly and quite calculatingly whip-up xenophobic hysteria and hatred about Syrian refugees, Muslims and other minority groups to baying crowds of bigots and racists. No one is willing to admit that the single biggest threat to the safety, security and stability of our country are these irrationally angry, pissed off, irate white males hellbent on "taking their country back"!

The day that America cowardly and very cruelly turned a blind eye to the deaths of children killed in a school by some deranged young man, rushing to hide behind a widely misused and misinterpreted amendment in the US Constitution - that is the same exact day that our country lost its moral compass and its soul.

.........the media is bending over backwards to make this tragic shooting all about abortion. But the fact is, that in less than 30 days, Colorado Springs, a city with a population of less than 500,000 people has experienced two incidents of deadly gun violence involving some angry white male with a high powered weapon going on a shooting spree picking off people like an arcade game.

The issue of abortion and Planned Parenthood is secondary at best to the rapidly escalating and deliberately ignored problem of well-armed white males committing deadly rampages with guns.

The media has no problem whatsoever rushing to put on camera a group of "experts" to pontificate on ad nauseam about "black on black crime", but oddly and quite strangely this very same media goes mute silent when a white male guns down a bunch of innocent people.

No comments have been made about the murdering bastard being a thug or the product of a one-parent home. Oh no... We're already hearing that bullshitty excuse about "mental illness" in that time honored tradition of making the white suspect a figure of sympathy and perhaps compassion.

........ the Planned Parenthood office in Colorado Springs has long been a target of weekly protests by a group of Catholics and other anti-abortion foes. And it was interesting to note how remarkably quick the leader of the weekly protests was to get his behind in front of the local media, to express faux shock and hollow sympathy about the shooting and to swear that his group had nothing at all do with what took place.

The loud mouths and showmen who love to gin up the crowds and incite acts of violence rarely want to take credit for their actions when something does happen.unsure emoticon

These are the other two victims of that hateful, angry,(cracka-ass) bastard TERRORIST who went on the killing spree Friday in Colorado Springs.

In less than 30 days in a city with less than 500,000 people, there have been two shocking and heartbreaking incidents of gun violence by deranged individuals who were able to obtain high powered weapons and kill six innocent people who were some one's daughters, mothers, sisters, sons, husbands, brothers and friends.

And as expected the cowards in both parties who are bought and paid for whores of the NRA, are either mute silent or doing the political deflection dance by blaming President Obama, abortion, Planned Parenthood and even the victims themselves.

Americans stood by quietly when teenagers and children were gunned down in schools. We stood by quietly when people were gunned down in a movie cinema. Now it is rapidly approaching the point where we can't even open the front door of our homes without some legitimate fear of some irrational HOME-GROWN TERRORIST hellbent on "taking his country back" shooting us dead!

How many more of these deadly acts of mass gun violence have to happen in America before we collectively stand up and demand sensible, comprehensive gun control?

Will it take the loss of YOUR loved one before you find the courage to speak out loudly and persistently, or do we allow the fear mongering ass clowns and carnival barkers to continue to control the narrative and the media?

*And if you have any sort of a problem with my choice of words that I've used here - fuck you and kindly make good use of the UN-friend option. Trust me I won't miss you!*

Abortion Shooter And His Acts Receiving Mixed Comment From Conservatives (Or No Comment)

The following was posted during yesterday's nascent case of US terrorism.  As we watched the five-hour stand-off, many surely reflected not only on the tragedy of yet another example of American home-grown terrorism, we also thought of the ugly flak from millions who have succumbing to media paranoia about resettling 10,000 refugees from Syria.

GOP leaders:
Ben Carson "Rabid Dogs" regarding Syrian refugees.  He is as of today performing yet another phony act common to GOP presidential candidates via visiting a Syrian refugee camp.
Donald Trump stated he would actually send them back in addition to his iron-fist proclamation of no Syrian refugees.
Chris (Bridegate) Christie even stated he would block five-year-old kids from the prospect of a decent place to live. Link: Child sleeps in a wooded area; barefoot children sleep on the ground; family of barefoot children.
Ted Cruz commented as such last year: Fox News segment. A couple of weeks back Cruz adorned his Chameleon suit, went on camera (1, 2) and took legislative action
Jeb Bush and John Kasich were much more humane and civil about the prospect of resettling a minuscule number of Syrian refugees.
Marco Rubio? The candidate moves around issues, squirms day-to-day and changes his position so much we dare not post any comment he will have sipped water and changed his position three times before I finish this piece.
As the abduction oft eh Planned Parenthood Facility unfolded and it became obvious the killer was not a person of color, the Internet burst with conservative response to comments about US Terrorism. The following is one such example. It is important to note, the responses from this Right-wing troll were keyboarded without any references to race nor references to the Obama Administration.

First note the Facebook badge assumed by the cloaked troll.

Today in Islam

Facebook post One:
Today in Islam The fuhrer in the White House is waiting to see if the shooter is a Christian or Muslim before labeling it "terrorism" or "gun violence"
Obama, kapos, berni, eva hillary braun, and the National Socialists - NAZIFYING AmeriKa one atrocity at a time
Facebook post Two:
Today in Islam Interesting: There are scores of facilities at that mall and the "progressive" propaganda machines are all zoned in at Planned Eugenics. When it comes out the shooter is a muslim jihadist, wonder how the headlines will read: "gun violence?" "a misunderstanding of Sharia?" "Just random folk?" (victims have to be Jewish to use that) "The Toll of Climate Change?"
There are more, but for expedience let's leave the posts at this point. You should also be aware of a meme post from the troll's Facebook page.

Meme aside, we remind the comments above were keyboarded or cut and pasted in response to accurate comments about home-grown terrorism.

Another Facebook colleague posted what some will call a rant about the Planned Parenthood takeover and related murders. I consider the comments as point-on and an indictment of an American ideology movement which brandishes open bigotry and inhumane rhetoric (including 35 plus US Governors).

Right now, there's a white middle aged man shooting people at a Planned Parenthood in Colorado.
I promise you, he is not a liberal.
I guarantee that he is not a Muslim.
I'll bet money that he claims he was "saving babies from being sold in pieces."
I'll bet even more money that he loves JAYZUS!
I'll bet my last dollar that he hates Obama.
I'll bet my soul that he will not be called a terrorist.
I'll bet the souls of my children there will not be a national conversation about profiling, spying on, rounding up or even mildly inconveniencing right wing Christian extremists.
How can I be so utterly sure of these things? Because this is 'Murika, where domestic terrorism is openly encouraged by one of the two major political movements while the "liberal" media pretends there's no pattern to the violence.
The next few days will be a flurry of activity on the right to distance themselves from their direct responsibility. They'll call him mentally ill or autistic. They'll find a single time he posted something nice about a Democrat in a forest of pro-"life" and pro-gun insanity and demand all liberals apologize for the violence. They'll feign shock and surprise that such a thing could happen. Someone will find a way to blame Obama, probably for not defunding PP like Republicans wanted.
And we will still not call it terrorism. Terrorism is what "those" people do, not something good, JAYZUS-lovin' white 'Murikans do.
I feel safer every single day. Don't you?
The white male terrorist at Planned Parenthood has shot more people today than Syrian refugees have since 2001 — because that number is zero.Posted by Mike Victor on Friday, November 27, 2015

Suspected shooter at Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood taken into custody (Screenshot/CBS News)

Facts: The shooter is a white male, he is a terrorist (killing three including Christian church Deacon cop), and he abducted innocent people and led to sheltering of many people within blocks of the facility.

Right-wing Fox News goes full "circle the wagons" against the reality of a non-Muslim, non-person of color terrorist (act). Examples of such denial are ever-present despite reports of witness observing the killer enter the building with bundles which may have included IED (bombs).

GOP Presidential prospects go silent (with one exception). One can only guess they care nothing about the dead Americans, they may care more about offending potential GOP voters.
All three Democratic candidates have spoken out on the Planned Parenthood shooting. So far, only one Republican candidate has.

The following congressman is a consistent fact on CNN and Fox News waving the saber regarding potential US troops on the ground in the Middle-East. He also consistently preaches all things conservative with regard for the deeper impact of his rhetoric. Watch as he predicts the prospect of an apology from the Planned Parenthood Director, and he did so without any foresight the killer was actually targeting the facility. The Congressman is a true embodiment of conservative shallowness compounded by the need to offer rhetoric for votes.

Another observation. When the congressman asserted deep offense (from many people) about the Planned Parenthood videos, the CNN host didn't bother (to as a minimum) mention the tapes were heavily edited. Since Carly Fiorina mentioned the edited video at the second GOP debate, the mother of the stillborn child has spoken publicly about unauthorized use of the still-born baby issues. She was not an abortion recipient.
This congressman has blood on his hands.

While we have not received confirmation of Planned Parenthood as the target of the latest right-wing killer, Ezra Klein's Vox published a telling piece that for me leads to a heightened sense of anti-abortion suspicion.

Of Xenophpbia, Bigotry and GOP Politics (Via Its 2016 Front Runners)

Database em, ID em, and Badge em!

Let's take a quick look at American terrorists who have yet to be proven followers of the Muslim Faith. Most of the following images are linked to sources; not one source includes the word Islam nor Muslim.

Despite FBI reports of white supremacists and "home-grown terrorism" as the most serious threat to national security, we continue to find rampant paranoia, fear mongers, xenophobia, and over-the-top sheltering against an imaginary enemy. The 9/11 terror attacks and much more recent attacks in Paris France, Lebanon, and Mali, Africa speak to the danger of international terror. Terror worthy of scrutiny, appropriate counter-measures, and military readiness, but the attacks hardly serve as a corollary to recent comments from certain members of the current GOP heard of candidates for 2016 party nomination.

Ben Carson and Donald Trump have both spoken in a most heinous manner about Syrian refugees.  They have taken to microphones to deliver oratory that rivals that of Joseph Goebbels and almost reminds of the "cockroaches" label and refrain used by the Rwandan Tutsis to slaughter 800,000 Hutus.   Carson metaphorical reference to "rabid dogs, needs to further comment. We are committed to our position, Carson is insane and can no longer control what comes from his brain.  Trump's party leading acceptance of federal registers, immigration database, and ID'ing Syrian refugees is as despicable and "Un-American" as it comes.

How can any party/campaign leading candidate with the following of the GOP front-runner escape overwhelming criticism for such comments? He feigns innocence and victimized along with an aversion to intervening from the RNC and GOP party leaders. RNC Chair, Priebus seems to be sheltering in a dark concern hoping no one calls upon him for comment.
While Trump has gone on Fox News with innuendo of being entrapped, and "I did not say that a reporter asked..." MSNBC's Rachel Maddow has offered clear evidence of Trumps demagoguery.

TRMS Novembr 20,2015

We ran across a quick read an image on facebook that seems to embody the essence of Trump's comments.

TRUMP DEFINITELY SAID WE SHOULD HAVE A NATIONAL MUSLIM REGISTRY — Although he's trying to walk it back, there is no doubt in our minds that Donald Trump meant what he said. Mother Jones magazine confirms this as well in their lead story, "Yes, Donald Trump Agreed That We Should Have a National Registry of Muslims". Of course Trump forgets that he said it on video tape. A registry is just a precursor to internment camps like we set up for Japanese Americans during World War II. While we're sure Trump wasn't talking about the equivalent of Nazi concentration camps, once you get on bigotry's slippery slope of xenophobia, all bets are off. This is why we're calling Trump out on his Muslim Registry.

We often read about how we should avoid references to the Third Reich. it is virtually impossible to do so as we consider Tumps oratory, support from white supremacists groups and the actions of some supporters when faced with dissent. Over the past few years, we have grown to expect that ever-present high baby boomer chant of "USA, USA", USA" when dissent erupts at GOP events. It seems we are now expected to grow accustomed to what follows.

During an Alabama rally, Trump was interrupted by a protester. He was summarily surrounded, beaten and kicked to the ground. Recall during Trump's last Alabama rally someone in the audience yelled "White Power!"

On Trump's orders ("Get out of
here") supporters attack a black man

Shameful America Guided By US Conservatism

"Damaging"(minority support for the party)? Did someone say "Damaging".... Better referred to as extinguished minority support. Does the GOP think there is anything it can do to recoup now?

I read the set of statements earlier today after I read a headline about how Trump may become the target of uber GOP money backers and establishment GOP operatives. Apparently the oligarchs feel he is ruining the party's opportunity to win in 2016 via his over-the-top bigotry and racism.  The word "damaging" is well outside the box Trump has drawn for the party on the RightHe is garnering significant support from white supremacists and white nationalists, and tapping into that inner core of Amercian conservatism that contributes to GOP membership which is 92% white.

As we consider Syrian refugees and all of the nascent paranoia and flak from the Right (and, yes some from the Left), data again delineates reality.

As stated above reports are some in the GOP are working against Trump.
A team of establishment GOPers is launching a "guerrilla" campaign against Trump, who is damaging the party's ability to appeal to minority voters.
Seth Meyers handed it to the GOP field and laid a cutting line to Ted (immigrant father) Cruz.

CNN's challenge to the phoniest of the phony.

If you have a couple of minutes to devote to watching and listening to how a Muslim woman dealt with Chuck Todd's shill reporting (hosting). MSNBC should be ashamed of its airing of Todd on shows with a storied history such as Meet the Press. he is so obviously a far right news operative and has never shown an inclination to be a fair and balanced reporter. Watch.....especially towards the end of the 2:09-minute segment.

Todd's question was as ridiculous and ill-advised as GOP 2016 candidate's insistence on President Obama labeling heinous terrorism as the product of "radical Islam." Yet, not one GOP candidate (and frankly few Democrats) offer condemnation of homegrown white male terrorism.

From Chuck Todd's conservative messaging to a deeper illustration of an ideology running on dangerous.  Iowa Seve King offered his patented form of bigotry and racism and it mirrors that of party leader Donald Trump.

Rep. King in his splendid bigotry.

Did Jib Bush actually mention a "religious tests?"  One person simply does not agree.

Can anyone imagine life in the United Stats with a Republican in the White House, majority GOP members in both congressional houses, and an even more conservative SCOTUS? If you can reach that level of horror, imagine the outlawing of people who are not Christian, herding and incarceration  atheist and agnostics, and from there only Lucifer knows.

Fox News has done it again. Network managers and producers are so busy painting Vladimir Putin as a world's savior (white horse, no shirt and all), it's writers busily concocted a headline based on a Tweet.  Fox offer its readers and viewers the false report of a quote they attributed to Russia's Putin.  The quote didn't emanate from the Russian leader; it was straight out of the movies.

Let's start with a November 18, apology from a Twitter account.

You are curious about the quote, aren't you?  “To Forgive The Terrorists Is Up To God, But To Send Them To Him Is Up To Me,”  Did you nail the source of the quote?

Alas, the quote didn't even come from a white guy. It was written into the script of Man of Fire, starring Denzel Washington.  Oh, the sadness of it all.  Earlier in the week Fox News broadcast a segment with comments exhorting Obama to copy the comments of one of the show's leading actors. The show is fiction delivered via the mind a writer earning millions while consuming Lattes in the comfort of offices and multi-million dollars buildings.  It didn't end with Fox News. Even earlier in the week Joe Scarborough, MSNBC's Morning Joe Show also visited Homeland as a model for the nation's 44th President.

How deep will conservative America allow its media to take to the depths of fantasy and reality TV?

Will the action actually allow paranoia and media led fear to further drive us away from values that once propped up a (formerly) great nation? Not one of the killed of captured Paris terrorists were from Syria.

GOP Politics: Can It Get Any Worse?

The United States has a political party that is undergoing and promulgating the most heinous of social regression in US History.

Over the centuries, we have evolved away from our more shameful historic events and historic washy of life.  Native American genocide (via manifest destiny), Women's Suffrage, Anti-Union thuggery, Japanese internment (during WWII with no Germany ancestry internment), and Jim Crow (albeit it short lived), are classic examples of how we as a nation we overcame past horrors. You might have noticed I expressly avoided past treatment of Italian Immigrants, horrors perpetrated against Irish immigrants. Moreover, I am certain you noticed no mention of the forced immigration of Africans to facilitate early American capitalism and elitism.

All in the past; all with documented and existential evolution away from the sins of our social past.  Alas, we now regress.  we regress out of the shadows of GOP regression that commenced in the early 1970s via political expedience under the auspices of Richard Nixon. Social regression that was honed to a fine science under Ronald Reagan under the tutelage and ownership of Lee Atwater and a finely tuned version of Richard Nixon and Kevin Phillips "Southern Strategy."  No, my point isn't one that gyrates solely around race.  My point is a direct address of policy and ideology born of political expedience and turned into paradigm shaping fodder via Fox News.

In 2015, the two leaders of the herd of GOP candidates for the 2016 nomination have, over the past 24 hours, illustrated US social regression. Donald Trump and Ben Carson remind of why voting against the GOP in the coming elections could be tantamount to nations saving. If you are inclined to feel comfortable Trump and Carson will wane of the primary race, know the GOP has a few equally regressive candidates on their bench. Rubio, Cruz, Huckabee, and Paul are social misfits ready and willing to follow the footsteps of the party's leading demagogues.

Trump and Carson over the past 24 hours. As you pursue the following recall, the Paris terrorists were to the person citizens of Belgium and France.  Could we have a racial or ethnic components to what follows?

The Hill: Trump won't rule out database, special ID for Muslims in US

The Hill piece was developed from a Yahoo News interview. Excerpt
“We’re going to have to do thing that we never did before,” he said during a Yahoo interview.
“Some people are going to be upset about it, but I think that now everybody is feeling that security is going to rule,” Trump said.
“Certain things will be done that we never thought would happen in this country in terms of information and learning about the enemy,” he added. “We’re going to have to do things that were frankly unthinkable a year ago.”
Trump would not rule out warrantless searches in his plans for increased surveillance of the nation’s Muslims, Yahoo reported Thursday.
He also remained open toward registering U.S. Muslims in a database or giving them special identification identifying their faith, the news outlet added. (color added by The Pardu)

Ben Carson Compares Some Syrian Refugees To 'Mad Dogs' (VIDEO)

AP Photo / John Locher
Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson on Thursday compared the process of vetting Syrian refugees wishing to enter the U.S. to a parent protecting a child from a rabid dog.
"If there's a rabid dog running around in your neighborhood, you're probably not going to assume something good about that dog," Carson said during a press conference in Mobile, Ala. "And you're probably going to put your children out of the way. That doesn't mean that you hate all dogs."
He said it was simply "putting your intellect into motion" to call for a strengthened screening process to weed out potential terrorists before letting more refugees into the country.
"We have to have in place screening mechanisms that allow us to determine who the mad dogs are," Carson said. "Quite frankly, who are the people who want to come in and hurt us and destroy us."
Watch Carson's comments below:
Donald Trump and Ben Carson are setting a tone across conservative America that alone could fill a vault with evidence of dangerous social regression.
Before I move on with a salient point regarding GOP regression, I will once against ask, why no forced internment of white American homegrown terrorist who are becoming more overt with their acts of horror. I have yet to hear one single comment from the right about people such as those in the following video news segment.
