As Trump's World Turns: Trump And The Taliban Trump And Russia, Trump Poll Ratings

Meeting with the Taliban; Russian Spy; "I don't know,"

Does it ever end?

Taliban Where?

Let's start with Trump's apparent meeting with "terrorist" at Camp David.  Before you read further, I posit the Taliban enacted the bomb attack which killed an American soldier with full understanding Trump would cancel the meeting.  I do not believe the Taliban was interested in journeying to DC to meet with Trump.

It is important to note......

A dose of 'reality"...

Now watch the top State Department Chair stumble through a direct question of who thought meeting with the Taliban at Camp David was a good idea.

A dose of reality...,

Russian Spy?

Yesterday multiple media followed CNN reporting regarding the 2017 extraction of a highly placed Russian spy. The Kremlin official was reported to have given the US secret details and information for many years and was without question a major US INTEL asset. Some media are reporting the spy may never be adequately replaced.

Now, why would the US extract a Russian citizen from his perch in the Kremlin? In part, due to Donald Trump's inept handling of top-secret information.

The follow CNN segment is a bit long but relevant to yet another archive to US History with Donald Trump as a contributing factor.

If you prefer MSNBC reporting, during The 11th Hour opening segment Brian Williams moved to the extraction of the spy at the six-minute mark of the segment.  If you do not wish to hear and see a run-through of Trump's previous week of inept leadership skip to the 5:50-minute mark

When asked about the extraction while heading to his latest rally oozfest in North Carolina, Trump responded to questions about the extraction with his increasing use of: "I don't know."

About those Poll Numbers

All said, this morning we receive a reminder of how many across the nation feel about Trump as a leader of the nation.

Bob Bergdahl Reported To Be A Republican And Reports Of Tea Party Death Threats

Wouldn't you know it?

How often have we seen it?

It is almost like knowing the Godzilla Monster is out there and knowing it will never chase you down.

It is like Fox News enthroning Cliven Bundy until he let lose with his inner core of  ignorance and racism. (The Bundy analogy relates to Fox News magnetizing for Obama hatred. The comment does not relate to Bundy's racism; it relates to the Bergdahl family as victims.)

How much deductive reasoning was necessary to come to a fairly comfortable conclusion as follows: Bob Bergdahl is a Republican?

The Bergdahl family lives in Idaho and young Bergdahl was raised in the state.

Most "Red States"....

While we cannot posit all voting age Idahoans are conservative voters and probably registered Republican. We can be make the case based on knowledge of US politics and social idioms, conservative ideology and political affiliation may very well dominate.

Could the Bob Bergdahl beard exist as  the increasingly common exhibition of the Duck Dynasty reality show, in addition to only serve as his personal "yellow ribbon" regarding his son? Granted, he commenced his facial cover growth well before Duck Dynasty grabbed the psyche of millions across the nation. All said, the beard could denote an affinity for the same ideology exhibited via the "Bayou Bigots" the Duck Dynasty crew.

Conservative and Fox News attacks on his son and his family as surrogate victims for Obama Derangement Syndrome (ODS) shouldn't come as a surprise. Yes, the GOP and American conservatives metaphorically " eat their young."

If you think my metaphor is harsh, checkout a piece published this morning by Americans Against The Tea Party (AATP). The words "Tea Party" and "Taliban" in the same sentence and with the same net-net prospect of perpetrating 'death.' The horror!

Bob Bergdahl, Released POW’s Dad Is A–Republican (via Liberaland)
He’s being called a Muslim, a traitor and a Taliban sympathizer, and getting threats because of conservative anger about the deal made for the release of his son. As it turns out, Bob Bergdahl is a Republican. The Daily Beast reported: In June 2010…

The Daily GOP Ignominious: Fox News Sean Hannity and Liz Cheney "Poppycock."

On a day when news sources (herehereare reporting the death of the Number Two (2) Taliban leader in Pakistan, Fox News feeds misinformation and propaganda to its sycophant viewers.  We will post the latest barrage of  'pure poppycock" from Sean Hannity and Liz Cheney in a moment. Let's take a moment to address the Fox News claim.

Fox News Claim: "Hannity And Liz Cheney Agree: Obama Is Afraid To Go After Terrorists"

Evidence of the scope of the Fox News "poppycock."

Takiban Leader Wali-ur-Rehman (left), deputy head

of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and three associates droned. we must assure the three others slain via the drone attack we in some way Taliban also.

US drone strike kills Waliur Rehman, deputy head of Pakistani Taliban
Pakistan officials report that Wali-ur-Rehman (left), deputy head of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), is among at least four senior Taliban militants killed in a US drone strike. Photograph: Saood Rehman/EPA
"....analysts say Rehman has been in charge of much of its activities, particularly planning and ordering attacks. He was the alleged mastermind of the bombing of the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad in 2008 that killed more than 50 people. In 2009, Pakistan offered a bounty for anyone who captured him, dead or alive."
We published the following post in October 2011. We are certain the number of former Al Qaeda and Taliban increased in 2012. However, we did not track the deceased terrorist (enjoying their martyrdom) effectively enough report numbers and names.

The Progressive Influence: A Commander-in-Chief for Turbulent Times

While we addressed the following successful operation of "going after terrorist", it is important that we give top billing accordingly.

We realize some may feel, why even "chase the FoxPEN* dragon."  We chase the dragon because, believe it or not , there are people who actually absorbed misinformation and lies while watching Fox News and immediately run off to Left leaning web sites, progressive FaceBook pages and the domain of the elderly Aol and Yahoo message boards. Fortunately Twitter and Tumlr are simply way to 'out there" as to operational ease for the Fox News crowd.

Fox News Number one (1) propagandist, Sean Hannity, speaks with Liz Cheney about the asinine headline posted above.  Now, would someone tell us what beyond belief in the Tooth Fairy qualifies Liz Cheney to speak on any topic?

Fox News viewers simply have to see the "light of day" on this segment. Nonetheless, they accept the propaganda as  entertainment that feeds their hatred of Barack Obama and feeds their jingoist lust for gun fire and armed conflict.

Morning Java: The Newsroom - Tea Party is the American Taliban

Enjoy while the caffeine kicks-in!!!!!

A morning segment to go along with your Sumatra, Kenya AA, Tanzanian, Kona Coast, Jamaica Blue Mountain, Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, Costa Rican, Espresso, Indonesian Blend, Coffee Latte, Kauai Blend (often bitter), Colombian Red Lips, or your Folgers 100% Colombian.

We challenge the Newsroom!

The Progressive Influence in no way actually compares the Tea Party to the Taliban. We wish to differ on this one.

The Taliban are  existentially maniacal in their oppression and their methods of enforcing control over people.  The Tea Party.....uuuugh.  Well, I have just typed myself into a corner.

It is clear the Tea Party is not a murderous band or cult with intent to rule a nation. Well, now other than the literal use of the word "murderous", I have typed myself into another corner.

The Tea Party does not have roots in religious fervor.   Well, I have now typed myself into another corner.  The Tea Party certainly has fissures into religious dogma that appear as ever-present and growing in matters of State. The Tea Party infestation in the House certainly contributed to the "murderous" downgrade of the US Credit Rating.

Unlike the Taliban, the Tea Party does not work to spread its dogma......Well, I do not think I can finish that thought as I do not wish to paint myself into another corner.

In the long run the Tea Party differs from the Taliban....... Shucks, I am going to end this.  I ran out of corners.......

I think I will watch the six minute Newsroom clip again   Maybe, I can finish this screed after I view the clip again.

If I do not finish the screed,  I failed in finding opportunity to clearly distinguish between the Taliban and the Tea Party (except for literal killings of people who do not follow Taliban doctrine). Yes, But the Tea Party practices figurative killings (threats and actual enactment of work to unseat republicans who do not comply with its dogma).  Oh Man, I am just going to stop.

The Newsroom Wins.  I admit defeat!
