US Conservatism: The Ugly, The Shameful , And The Liar

We don't often write about matters of Trump's wife on this page. As Trump and his cabal and family bring their UK visit to a close, I have noticed the anticipated reveling about the "beauty and poise" of Trump's wife. While I won't speak of the long record of his wife's prior to their marriage. I will, however, use a Twitter post to remind of Melania Trump the Birther.
______________

Pier sMorgan questioned Trump about America's need for the AR-15 armed citizens.  Wouldnt you think Truno would have avoided the use of the word "entertainment?"

Talking Point Memo published 5 key moments from Trump's 30-minute interview. Linked.  Will the lies ever cease?  A rhetorical question.

Trump's comment about the  United Kingdom's as America's largest trading partner?

On April 27, 2019, The Washington Post updated its running Trump "lie count".
In 828 days, President
Trump has made 10,111
false or misleading claims
The Fact Checker’s ongoing database of the false or misleading claims made by President Trump since assuming office.

Of course, one and a half months past the end of April, we can only assume Trump's "lie count"will reach 11,000 by years end.

The need to further illustrate Trump's pathological state of lying probably isn't necessary,, yet it isn't often we can share report of his laying lies on foreign soil.  CNN's Don Lemon offered a 'facts first" with Trump as the central character.

Grannie brandished her gun

Let's skip down to the Great State of Mississippi.

Ruby Nell Howell was arrested Tuesday, the Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Office said.

It seems someone's grandmother has been arrested and charged with a gun-related misdemeanor.  Do you recognize her?  Do you from time to time catch national news?  Or do you live in Starkville Mississippi?

Hint.

Oh yes, black people and a granny with a gun.  Do you suspect the elderly white woman sought firearm protect because she was attacked and fear for her life?

If you answered "no" to any of the questions, here is the back story.  Linked via Longroom dot com.

The closet racist who didn't live in a closet

We intended to end this piece at this point. well, as is frequently the case with conservative America another racist has raised her head, acted on her racism and subsequently lost her job. The segment is a bit long due to CNN's frequently practice of offering a dialog between the network's host and o camera guests.

Apparently, the teacher has been employed by the school district since 1998. Often employees with long employment histories have work records which reflect on the character of the employee (good, bad or neutral). Georgia Clark has a history which indicates past negligence for her district managers. She is a clear racist and should have been relieved of working with children many years ago. Star-Telegram linked (short) video here. The Star-Telegram piece, here (must read).

If you visited the Star-Telegram piece you read through word after the word which thoroughly illustrated the typical US racist.  Typical, yes, but it isn't often we can witness and read about the level to which such people ooze around in the darkness of social media while satisfying an inner-core need for sycophancy.

If you didn't read the Star-Telegram piece, her is an excerpt of how Clark managed her social interactions with children.
Clark was suspended without pay and reassigned in 2013 after referring to students at Western Hills High School as “Little Mexico” and “white bread.”
During the 2013-14 school year, Clark worked at Western Hills High School as a reading teacher, but was recommended for termination by a review committee after she was accused of using racist language toward students. She was kept by the district after the United Educators Associationhelped her find a resolution with the district, the records state.
Eighteen student witnesses made statements in that case. A co-worker on campus also told the district Clark used racist language when referring to students. That internal review began Nov. 7, 2013, and closed on Jan. 3, 2014.
In November 2013, Clark was accused of calling a group of Hispanic students “Little Mexico.” She also reportedly called a Caucasian student “white bread,” and separated the class by race, according to the reports.
“The Mexicans on one side and the white and black people on another side,” one student told the district’s Office of Professional Standards in 2013. “She had told the Mexicans that (they’re) Mexico and that the white and blacks are America.”
What a shame, but a surprise? No!
