Trump Lied To Get On The Forbes 400 List

35 plus years ago but an indication of character

Since the nation doesn't seem to care much about Trump's pathological lying, we shouldn't be surprised the extent to which he has lead a life very much like the information via the links and graphics below.

Posted in a TPI post earlier the week

(If you do not wish to read via the links, certainly take a close look at the Tampa Bay Times, Politifact, link).

The New York Times (June 2017)

Opinion | President Trump's Lies, the Definitive List - The New York ...

The Tampa Bay Times (Politifact)

The Washington Post

As of yesterday or this morning, a former Forbes reporter is telling a story (with video) about how Trump adorned his telephone alter-ego to misrepresent his wealth to gain mention and entry into the Forbes 400 Wealthiest List.

While Trump's rationalizers and CNN contributors (Trump backers) are speaking about not believing the tape reported in the following segment, give it a good listen. It is also critical to know Trump has actually bragged about adopting alter-ego personalities: A, B, C

Since we now live in an age when an expectation of decency and honesty are not traits necessary to sit in the Oval Office, the question has to be addressed: "When will enough about Trump's lies be enough."

For rational Americans who are not part of the 80% of Republicans who support Trump, the answer is fleeting and becoming something of a non-fulling reality. For those who support Trump, it is amazing the level and scope of lies you will ignore as Trump takes the nation to the depths of a bottomless swamp.

Trump Talking Head Insults Humankind: "Trump is Not A Liar"

Image may contain: 1 person, text

Trump and his inner core mind-shapers sent a "presstitute" to the White House presser conference late week with a message: Trump is not a liar. Well, Tel me I am handsome; I will get a momentary shot of dopamine. Tell me I am wealthy; My first thought would be "I wish" while knowing you are misinformed or lying to me. Tell me Donald Trump is "not a liar" you have gone overboard with an attempt to mind shape or feed fodder to sycophant supporters while the world knows differently. Every utterance from Trump's mouth should first be considered a lie long ith the prospect 15% of the words may have a degree of truth.

A number of social media sources have posted articles or comment about Trump's lying. Buzzfeed's version is linked, here. Politifact's Trump file includes a graphic which shows Trump lies (In some form) far more than he speaks the truth: here. Interesting and informative Politico piece regarding Trumps lying.

While this piece came to be base don the Meme atop the piece, I can not help but end with a couple of snippets from Trump's Rose Garden comments of yesterday. He still hasn't learned he can not go on camera and lie about his just completed meeting with international leaders.

Donald Trump is woefully ill-prepared for the office of the US Presidency.

I really have to add this 52-second snippet from this morning's AM Joy Show on MSNBC.

TRUMP Credo: "If you tell the lie enough, it becomes truth?" Fact Checker Dot Org

Donald Trump it seems will spend the next four years traveling around the country delivering rally speeches.  His current mission is to feed his ego while whipping white people into celebrity worshipping frenzies via weekly appearances. As is the case with any rally, speech, comment, and oratory are necessary. Before we move into one of Trump's latest insults to the black community and his disregard for decency among his supporters let's remind of a key point from Politifact.

While the African-American vote was down from 2012 with Trump securing more votes than Romney (et. al. less than 14% in each election), Trump can not accurately depict the black vote as not showing up. Of course, he can claim the flawed statistic (lie) with his white supporters (and the very visible black guy and two women in the video), but the reality is, Trump continues his lie campaign. "If you tell the lie enough, it becomes truth?"

How about this one:

Trump has stated on multiple occasions within the past two weeks, that his supporters should be happy about the "good thing" associated with his false claim of "African-Americans stayed home."

Here is his latest (as promised above). Note the African-America guy (and ladies neatly placed behind Trump). The guy is over exuberant about Trump's vote comments, yet even he ceased his Trump "woodie" as Trump stated the black vote "staying home" was a good thing.

Trump's remarks.

Chicago Tribune

Thursday's rally in Hershey, Pennsylvania, found the president-elect calling for the mostly white crowd to cheer for African-Americans who were "smart" to heed his message and therefore "didn't come out to vote" for his Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton.
"That was the big thing, so thank you to the African-American community," Trump said.
Trump repeatedly campaigned there, drawing some of the largest and loudest crowds of the campaign. He won the state by less than 1 percentage point, giving him a vital 20 electoral college votes.
