North Carolina GOP Delivers Typical Trumpism (The Lie as Modus Operandi)

Image result for how many trump lies

North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper (D)
By a 55-9 vote, North Carolina legislative Republicans apparently pulled what can be described as a Trumpian maneuver via lying to chamber Democrats about not taking a vote regarding overriding the Governor's recent veto.

A local North Carolina News channel offers a glimpse at how the party on the Right is conducting business.

The Washington Post August 12, 2019, linked. If the leader lives as such should we expect his party to live with more veracity?  Check out this set of data regarding Trump's lies; linked.

Should we expect any different from the GOP?

As Trump's World Turns: Charlottesville, Tucker Carlson, Trump In El Paso

Two years ago today, white supremacists perpetrated mayhem and murder in the streets of Charlottesville, Virginia.  Shortly thereafter Trump (when pressed) commented that the event and the day were shared by 'fine people on both sides".

Leadership?

True leadership. How does a true leader lead in times of horrific experienced for her/his constituents? The true leader shows empathy, sympathy and offers a personal touch; which could mean much to those who suffer.

Image may contain: 9 people, people smiling

The Buffoon, narcissistic camera hound and his wife show exactly the core of the current GOP and US conservative mindset. The baby's parents are dead Shot by a right-wing racist who seemed to clone Trump's "invasion" moniker for brown people who are seeking a better life in the United States.  The photo opportunity was yet another example of the existential reality of Trumpism.

If you have time and respect the sanctity and special elevation of the US Presidency, you have to sit through this MSNBC segment.  The manner of speech is as critical as a presidents judgment. We have almost three years of empirical evidence Trump has zero judgment.  Watch and listen as Chris Hayes shows us the full measure of Trump's inept mental processes (as exemplified via speech).
A visit over on Fox News finds another evening host who suddenly announced a "vacation."
Does Fox News management and Ruppert Murdoch so disrespect their viewers they practice disciplinary "vacation" closeting when a host shows the true core values of the organization? Is sending a host on an unplanned "vacation" a mere band-aid and hand-slap? would termination serve a better purpose? Alas, a question for credible media with viewers who might find utter racism and defense of racism a "deplorable act ".

Let's take another look (and listen).

"Deplorable?"

James Alex Fields, Jr August 12, 2017

And David Duke on August 12, 2017, put it into words.

If you are familiar with professional sports and television broadcast, you know the term "color commentator".  While the use of the term, regarding David Duke's validation and of Trump, also carries a nagging pun (hence "color"), I cannot find a better metaphorical analogy.

Why should we ask should Fox management even respond with an "Immediate vacation"?  We suspect to slow the trickle of advertisers, more so than an attack of consciousness.

On the anniversary day of Charlottesville, we find Fox News's Tucker Carlson on immediate vacation and we find an image of Trump and his wife with a baby with deceased via an American terrorist influenced by Trump's incessant oratory and hate speech.

As Trump's World Turns: The Ugliness Of Hate And The Pathetic State of Trump

Imagine That...

The Ugliness of Hate

The following Media Matters news segment appeared on CNN.

CNN"S ALISYN CAMEROTA conducted a rather long segment with a young white man who seems to have awakened to the ills of white supremacy as ti manifest in American. He spoke of being radicalized via YouTube; the res is as follows (including the brief segment excerpt).
ALISYN CAMEROTA (CO-HOST): How does a liberal young man become a follower of the "alt-right"? You're about a meet a man who says he was radicalized by "alt-right" figures via their persuasive YouTube videos. He believed their extremist conspiracies for years. But then he somehow deradicalized himself, and he's now working to help others get out. Joining us now is Caleb Cain. Caleb, thank you so much for being here to tell your personal story. I think it is so fascinating. So just to bring people up to speed, somewhere around, as I understand it, 2015, you were sort of at loose ends. You had dropped out of college, you were looking for direction. I think -- correct me if I'm wrong -- at the time you would describe yourself as liberal. And somehow online you found your way to these "alt-right" videos and websites. And then describe what happened.
CALEB CAIN: Yes, ....... (The video follows)

The Pathetic State of Trump

Time to move to our ever-present lying White House occupant. If you follow any current events you know the nation elected a pathological liar. Therefore, we expect daily lies for Trump and each of his inner cabal.  The extent of lying from the White House is so pervasive, GOP members of Congress and false Democrats who site in the US Congress are finding themselves revealing the level to which they will also lie to the American people. As we move through the 360-degree essential reality of Trump and his congressional stooges and staff, there is another critical group which wears the same label of shame. US conservatives who facilitate Trumpism via overt and obvious willingness to accept any and every lie as well as tacit conservatives who are willing to ignore historic poor leadership form the GOP and record lying form Trump and company.

The latest and most disturbing example of a Trump lie was offered to the world yesterday. While speaking about reports Kim Jong Un's brother was a CIA asset, Trump clear stated the prospect of such an operation would not be part of the manner in which he conducts business. Wouldn't you know, today he seeks to modify his comments with one of the zaniest yet validating statements he has uttered since taking office  His words clearly show he speaks with a brain which has a core in lying.

Watch and listen...

Did the headline in the Crooks & Liars piece read with the word "Bizarrely"?  Well, Trump topped that late yesterday.
Imagine that... literally inviting foreign involvement and meddling in US general elections.

After such a statement any rational person should question Trump's recent adjective-laden criticism of Joe Biden.  A US president stooped to calling a potential election opponent, "dumb", "less mental", "not so good looking", and in some cases "sleepy". If Trump's remarks to ABC's Stephanopoulos doesn't show his criticism of Bide as something of a mirror reflection of the nation's 45thh, this linked CNN segment with Rick Santorum may remind of you

Speaking of CNN, conjure up and consider thoughts of an international news (and entertainment) network which pays conservatives to come on air to defend the wild manifestations and insanity of Trump. It is the existential reality of my use the word "presstitute." Santorum is a classic presstitute.

And how did Trump's favorite news show handle his bumbling revelation?  Media Matters offers how Fox offers the ugly to its viewers.

Another example of the most non-presidential person to sit in the White House was recently published via Snopes. "...cleanest air in the world."

This is an update to a post from earlier today:  Herewith is yet another example of the intellect form the Oval Office. Yes, he typed "whales" Instead of "wales". There is something about it that leads me to the prospect it wasn't a typographical error. Crooks And Liars.

As Trumps World Turns: White Nationalism, Racism, Trumpism

As Facebook bans white supremacists posts... this one is your call.

Twenty-two seconds of pure malarkey. And Trump knows it.

On the day, Trump signed his nation emergency declaration he made this comment: “People hate the word ‘invasion,’ but that’s what it is ."

Just before the New Zealand shooting and killings, the shooter posted a comment to social media: "...to show the invaders that our lands will never be their lands.”

The terrorists also left a 74-page "(nut case rambling) manifesto.   The manifesto is laced with white supremacist ramblings ad mention of Trump.  To advance our point about white supremacy, the New Zealand terrorists also flashed an increasingly common white power signed while standing handcuffed for his first court appearance.

Related image  Image result for white supremacist flashes white power sign  Related image

Of course, we can find non-racist flashes of the hijacked "OK" signal, but Is there any doubt why the New Zealand racists flashed the sign?

On March 23, 2019, The Hill posted a piece regarding the increase in hate cities in cities where Trump held or holds rallies. Herewith is an excerpt from the piece.
United States counties where President Trump hosted a campaign rally in 2016 saw a 226 percent increase in reported hate crimes compared to similar counties that did not host one, an analysis released by The Washington Post has revealed.
The analysis, which was published on Friday, was conducted by Ayal Feinberg, a Ph.D. candidate in political science at the University of North Texas, and Regina Branton and Valerie Martinez-Ebers, two political science professors at the university.
They said their research sought to explain how some of Trump’s rhetoric "may encourage hate crimes."
OK, so we have Trump spewing hatred at rallies along with a hate crime rise in the host cities. What is the rational mind to think?

In 2018 the Southern Poverty Law Center Hate Crime Map 2018. The map is interactive and lends to viewing changes in hate crimes not only via years 2000 - 2018, it facilities viewing of how states are showing increased cases.

Your call.......

CNN's Cuomo Invites Kellyanne Conway To A Gish Gallop Debacle

 Gish Gallop
... is a technique, named after the creationist Duane Gish who employed it, whereby someone argues a cause by hurling as many different half-truths and no-truths into a very short space of time so that their opponent cannot hope to combat each point in real time.
________

Kellyanne Conway Gish Gallops Chris Cuomo
Last night CNN's Chris Cuomo solidified my belief many TV news production teams and on-air hosts are about ratings and little more. Cuomo has a tendency to seek and book conservative talking heads on his Prime Time show for his version of the CNN on-air guest combat model. The model has grown tiring and trite. Viewers know that the liberal guest will go Left; they also know the conservative guest will go Right. While biased I must state the conservative guest are more often than not GOP operatives who serve their wallets via lucrative CNN paychecks as well as Trump talking heads who serve their leader via spewing garbage.

What follows is a serious of video to make a case, Cuomo should avoid offering platforms for highly paid liars. That mission is well served by Fox News and Sinclair broadcasting along with many right-wing radio hosts.

First a piece of Cuomo with Conway. The interview ran for 39 minutes and at times was outright excruciating in its silliness. There were moments when the host succumbs to Conway's slick offensive assertions he actually defended himself as if trying to wave of the wind from his face while standing in a Cat 5 hurricane.
Huffington Post published a piece earlier today with Conway's husband, longtime Trump critic, seems to do what Cuomo should have done early in his 39-minute debacle.

And, Cuomo continued with the ridiculous.
After Cuomo allowed 39 minutes of a professional Gish Gallop employed by a person who lies form the moment he awakens until he lays down his iPhone in the wee hours, Don Lemon follow Cuomo's Prime Time with the most apropos question of 2018.  "Why?"

What follows is a prime example of TV journalism as it polices itself with necessary questioning of what might be a cheap ratings trick via Cuomo.  He obviously wants to have more conservative viewers during his time slot. But at what cost? Why offer a platform to a documented liar who works for a pathological liar whose shared mission is to pull the wool over the minds of certain segments of the population.

Watch as Lemon's disbelieving nonverbals regarding Cuomo's comments. The Prime Time host's remarks about playing the victim to show core values of Trumpism is pure malarkey. "......they attack me!" They attack everyone other than Trumps family and Cuomo offering himself up on a metaphoric guillotine is pure bunk and not healthyTV news.

Yes, Conway performed well for Trump while Cuomo ...well...

As Trump's World Turns: Media As Base Feed (VIDEO)

Earlier today MSNBC's Andrew Mitchell hosted a segment in which to guest and the host discussed Trump's comments to staff just before entering the room of the now famous press conference. He is reported to have commented: "this will be fun."
President Trump: "I think I am a great moral leader and I love our country."

Image may contain: one or more people
What follows is ugly and well outside the boundaries of acceptable behavior form an occupant of the Oval Office.

A planned attack on a CNN and NBC reporters.

From another angle, watch the Trump microphone henchwoman attempt to yank the mic for Jim Acosta.
Another look...

The White House used a version of the interaction from of all sources INFO Wars, to support their yanking the press pass firm Jim Acosta. This is the same White House which denied US media an opportunity to capture the Trump meeting with Russian officials and Russian media in which he gave them military secrets the US received from Israel.
And how is the White House dealing with the aftermath of their use of doctored video? Well, with a former Fox News Executive on staff and in charge of White House communications, does what follows.

INFO Wars !!!

Here is the INFO Wars guy Alex Jones, during a late October Ted Cruz rally. Jones entertained the cameras with a metaphorical representation of Cruz's opponent, Beto O'Rouke. Jones's metaphorical target: a pile of horse manure. Linked

Image result for joseph goebbels and the press

Trump also reminded the world of how he deals with issues in which he consistently places himself and his administration. From CNN and the media to call on a black reporter who he may have suspected would ask about his recent claim of "a nationalist." Trump knows full-well about assertions of white nationalism from his claim.
From deflective charges of racism to clear racist thoughts accompanied by presidential dialogue. A Japanese reporter received a full blast of GP racism.
While this piece was developed yesterday and went unpublished, know that Trump opened his day with yet another example of word and temperament towards reporters of color via the use of the word "dumb or "stupid": linked

Media earlier today captured this as Trump offered up his daily dose of racism for his base.

CNN's Abby Phillip asked Trump a question and this ensued.

Granted Trump did say the question was "stupid." But do not fail to underestimate the power of such words with Trump supporters. In many cases people who seek to have their beliefs reinforced via their leader.

Is it actually possible Trump believes the black women reports are of less intelligence than he and his family? Or, and probably more to the point, is Trump practicing overt racism which feeds his base. I offer the latter based on my belief Trump is an over the top racist.

He couldn't assume the reporter is less intelligent based on her academic background. She attended Harvard University and finished with a Journalism Degree.

All said I am certain you know of Trumps former attorney's comments about Trump's use of the word "stupid" with regard to African-Americans.

CNBC

Michael Cohen: Trump said 'black people are too stupid to vote for me'

If one didn't know better, one could assume trump has total disdain for non-supporter and properly inquisitive or investigative media.

One final perspective. CNN's Brooke Baldwin speaks out against Trump's obvious disdain for black women reporters.

Witches And Hexes Via Trumpism

Related imageIf the phantom guy who comments about my writing more and less relying on video to carry my message wants to comment on this pro-Trump activist, feel free to do so and I will publish the comment.

There is about enough need to comment on the comments from Amy Kremer as there was a need to challenge Trump's proclamation against Obama's birth, Trump Tower secret taping via Obama, and even less need when one considers Mexico paying for the wall. What we have here is entertainment for Trump supporters via wallowing in WWE like rhetoric. Actually, the fill-in host Ali Velshi should have in some way commented about the insanity of such statements on international TV. If hosts allow such spreading of Chicken-Little like insanity it lowers the credibility of the network and the host.

Image may contain: 1 person, text

Mediaite and the video clip.
The essence of trumpism: "...witches and hexes."

Actually, we shouldn't have experienced any surprise with that which emanates from Kremer's mouth. YouTube is full of video segments of her zany punditry on behalf of all things Trump (and US conservatism). How about a sample? What follows is one three minute example. Linked, here.

Trumpism: 911 Clowning, GDP Lies And A Visit With Fox News

Would a man elected as the US President who manages himself like a WWE entertainer surprise you with the following image and comments regarding the US GDP?

As Trump arrived to take part in 9/11 commemoration events this morning.

Presidential? Where is the side of the brain which would control and restrict a normal mind for such behavior and exercises of clownism.

From his WWE march off the tarmac to his utter lie about US GDP and the US economy.

Need to say more?

The post was actually finished and ready for the Submit button, but a day passed and social media has a video of Tucker Carlson, Fox News Trump facilitator, tussling with Michael Avenatti of the Donald Trump sex worker matter. The video is a bit long but it shows how a non-Trump supporter simply must deal with a Trump presstitute like Carlson. Watch Carlson squirm like a purse snatcher hauled before a detective in a police station.
