Post Las Vegas Shooting And (Leaked) GOP Talking Points Insult

Mass Gun Killings; GOP Insanity

Whatever your thoughts on gun control do not mention gun safety or gun control to conservative media or conservative politicians within weeks after a US mass shooting. If you should choose to ignore my advice, consider yourself fair game regarding idiotic, insensitive and inhumane responses.  You might get a more rational response from the root of all conservative gun control aversion (and chagrin): The National Rifle Association (NRA).

In May 2013, Mother Jones published a detailed piece about NRA "dark money" and congressional recipients. The list of recipients is populated with congressional representatives from both parties, but rest assured the GOP is over-represented and some GOP US Senators have been recipients of close to one million dollars (blood money) over the past 17 years. Mother Jones linked.

“I think people are going to have to take steps in their own lives to take precautions,” he continued, “to protect themselves. And in situations like that, you know, try to stay safe. As somebody said — get small.”
"Get small?" Does Thune's response seem to foster any level of concern for human beings and fellow Americans? If are able to discern any level of humane concern from his remarks, please stop reading at this point and click off this web page. Your time will be better spent on other endeavors.

Erik Erickson joined the "zoo crew" at Fox & Friends and spewed utter garbage fodder for show viewers. The conservative operative and talking head offered comments about Democrats "rigging" mass shooting numbers. Crooks & Liars, linked(Caution over viewing of Fox & Friends ha been proven detrimental to the cognitive health of rational Americans).

while operatives such as Erickson and Alex Jones feed pure misinformation, lies and utter garbage to their listeners and viewers more credible information sources offer opportunity for rational Americans to full assess "rigging."  Stories That Resonate Today is one such source. (Must read piece)

Nine Senators Alone Received Over $22 Million From The NRA.

The lion’s share of these direct and indirect contributions from the NRA — a total of $22,596,399— went to just nine senators (for the breakdowns and list of NRA spending on all 48 senators, scroll down to the bottom).
  1. Mitch McConnell (R-KY): $1,262,189
  2. Roy Blunt (R-MO): $1,433,952
  3. Pat Roberts (R-KS): $1,584,153
  4. Tom Cotton (R-AR): $1,968,714
  5. David Perdue (R-GA): $1,997,512
  6. Bill Cassidy (R-LA): $2,867,074
  7. Joni Ernst (R-IA): $3,124,773
  8. Cory Gardner (R-CO): $3,939,199
  9. Thom Tillis (R-NC): $4,418,833

Alas, is there any wonder why the GOP and conservative media are so dedicated to service for the NRA? Yes, the full scope of the NRA reaches right into the ancient halls and crannies of the White House.

Take a look at how the GOP and its white House facilitators deploy strategy for mind shaping after mass-killings in the United States. NBC News has published what it asserts is leaked White House (GOP) talking points to facilitate salting your mind with deflective messaging. What you are about to read is utter disgusting and a mere rehash of the GOP reaction to the killing of 20 grade school children in Sandy Hook, CT.

If you have watched any news post the Las Vegas killings, you may have noticed total devotion to and following of the talking points.  At least, that is, among those who are good GOP soldiers and appear to answer question about gun control. I have read reports the morning after the shooting and killing, not one GOP politicians would appear on MSNBC's Morning Joe Show.  While an utter shame and totally revealing, we must consider lock-step GOP politicians will rarely step forward with comment until after talking points are distributed.

An utter shame et al.
