3001 Lies Or Misleading Statements In 466 Days (A Sign Of Mental Stability?)

Yesterday we published a piece regarding the overwhelming reality of a president who lies as a first thought vs. lying to cover acts or behavior. First thought lying is a statement about one's psychological makeup.

The Washington Post continues to report on the extent to which Donald Trump lies to the world.  As of yesterday, the publication calculated Trump lies 6.5 times per day to reach his average number of lies per month.

Excerpts from the Post piece follow.
In the 466 days since he took the oath of office, President Trump has made 3,001 false or misleading claims, according to The Fact Checker’s database that analyzes, categorizes and tracks every suspect statement uttered by the president.
That’s an average of nearly 6.5 claims a day.

Read the Post piece, here.

We are certain you are already aware of The New York Times reporting (last fall) of Trump's seeming lack of veracity.

Clenched Fists, Meet The Press With Lies, and Trumpism

Four days into Trump in the White House and we watch as our world "turns."  Never have we epxerienced a national leader who so closely resemble all too familiar international strongmen and dictators. From his frequent use of the late sixties coined Black Power clenched ad raised fist through a flawed strategy of lie, lie, lie until the world believes it all.

Let's start with a piece from AOL News.

Excerpt from an AOL article published today.

President Donald Trump's first job-approval rating is in, and they are the lowest an incoming president has ever received.

Observation with an eye towards privilege, disparate treatment and flat-out ignoring the reality of Trump.  Check out the manner in which the nation is accepting behavior we formerly considered reprehensible.

Now imagine former president Obama displaying a clenched fist at an inauguration. Even liberals would have gone bonkers. The disparate nature of the situation denotes a level of privilege and unbalanced treatment that is nothing shy of shameful.

Another point worthy of consideration relates to former presidential candidate Hermann Cain and Trump. How is it Cain was accused of reaching up the skirt of a supporter (official) in an attempt to grope her and Trump's self-professed tendency to exercise rich guy (celebrity) privilege via "grabbing the Pussy" escape serious abhorrence?

It is time now for an MSNBC report on Trump's first day in office. From a meeting with congressional leaders through another pressed with lying Spicer (Press Secretary). Of particular interest,  Trump's nascent claim he lost the popular vote due to millions of illegal immigrant votes. Yes, Trump lost the popular vote and the bigger problem is why the US electoral systems can facilitate an election win-win the supposed winner did not garner a majority of votes. Of course, Republicans and Trump will address the issue as Hillary Clinton carried the popular vote by (round-up) 3 million votes. Video linked, here.

MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell also addressed what can only be described as the nation's first pathological liar to the level of a serial liar.  It is worth noting corporate TV uses the word "falsehood". No, Trump and company people are lying to the max.

As the days pass and the lies accumulate, the rational person should wonder when Trump will official name his Administration "LIE" CZAR.
