 Fox is slipping towards reality along with a presidential perpetual state of mendacity.

 A new diversion phenomenon!  Is it possible the network is waning in the face of Trump's increasingly erratic and unstable behavior?  After all, the network has served for years as Trump's cable news propaganda outlet, What should a needy president do when he feels deep in-congruence regarding Fox?  

Diversion yes but also a tactical effort to shape the broadcast of THE news outlet of his minion supporters. And therein lies a problem.

Has the Washington Post published an update on the number of lies told since Trump took office on January 21, 2017?  The last count, we had 12,000.  Surely we have surpassed 13,000 over the past 2.5 weeks.

How does Trump's new press secretary, Stephanie Grisham,  speak of his lies?

“I don't think they're lies. I think the President communicates in a way that some people aren't espeically comfortable with...."

Let's digress a second.  

Twelve thousand (12,000 ) plus lies in less than three years?  I offer Trump's trumpeter is accurate about our comfort level. 

"...A lot of times thy take Jim so literally  I know people will roll their eye if I say he was just kidding or was speaking hypotheticals, but sometimes he is."

Yesterday we opened a piece with the following image.

The developer of the image may have worked their craft based on Trump's history when meeting with long-standing US allies at the G7. Well, the artist simply nailed the eventual outcome of Trump at the G7.

As we develop this piece, it is important to keep in mind Trump lobbied for {utin;s attention at the G7. Retraction and correction he actually lobbied for Putin's re-entry into the annual meeting of international "democratic" nations leadership meetings. As you know after Putin annexed Crimea the G* leadership unanimously voted to exorcised Russia from the G7.  I offer Russia should never have been allowed to join the more fore G7, but 1990s hope of a more democratic Russia led to a major international blunder: Russia as the eight-member of the intentional conference.

Alas, Trump doesn't care one today about the charter of the G7. His major ambition regarding the important grouping is his opportunity to suckle-up to Putin.  As I think in terms of expanding the last point, Trump seems to measure his affinity for international leaders (almost always authoritarian bad actor).  While seeking the Oval Office (US Presidency) is alleged to have coached active participants in negotiation for building a Trump Tower in Moscow.  Of all sources, the Moscow Times on Trump's tower deal. A $50 million penthouse in the tower for Putin?

Putin aside, how often have you heard and witnessed trump proclaiming the future "potential" for North Korea.  When you hear that do you believe Trump has a personal interest in the people of North Korea. moreover, I posit he doesn't give a serious damn about  Jong-UN.  Money serves as Trups driving paradigm and stating potential for North Korea means building projects. He even once mentioned a shoreline in North Korea which could be a site for some sort of building, resort or complex. Business Insider.

I digress, let's visit with the G7.

American Jews tend to favor Democrat candidates, with 71% of Jewish voters choosing Democrat candidates and only 25% choosing Republicans since 1968.

Again Trump and his wordsmith operatives have blown it.  Jewish leaders have come down strong in condemnation of Trump's weaponizing Jews while avoiding direct countermeasures against growing Right-wing Nazism and public displays of hatred of Jews.  Loyalty?

Jewish groups condemned President Trump’s Tuesday remarks calling American Jews who vote for Democrats disloyal.

The groups said that the president’s Oval Office comment wrongly suggests Jews have a dual loyalty claim to Israel and plays on anti-Semitic tropes.

“This is yet another example of Donald Trump continuing to weaponize and politicize anti-Semitism. At a time when anti-Semitic incidents have increased — due to the president's emboldening of white nationalism — Trump is repeating an anti-Semitic trope,” said Halie Soifer, the Jewish Democratic Council of America's executive director.

Well, just another issue in the long-running Trump reality show.

Do you think we are being over critical and blaming Trump for the nation's racist ills? Trump is but a facade of the underbelly of US conservatism.  He is the physical manifestation of all that the Right has become since Richard Nixon (Kevin Phillips) and Ronald Reagan (Lee Atwater) planted  the seeds of the Southern Strategy in the 70s and 80s.  Let's think frankly while being honest with ourselves; the nation was a bedrock of racism and bigotry until FDR, Harry Truman and Eisenhower respectively took measures to desegregate the US military.

From coast to coast the US existed for centuries with pockets of quasi- bigot free zones (In the Northeast and parts fo the far West) while nurturing far more geography swaths of overwhelming racism across most to of the land.

Let's take a look and finish with a very recent rendition of US racism.

Now for a modern-day example of US racism. No, we are not going to revisit Donald Trump and US white nationalism we have a much more neighborly example.

An actual Fox News-like racist running for City Council about 50 miles North of Detroit Michigan.  A USA Today excerpt of  Jean Cramer's opening remarks during a council meeting just a day ago. 

Let's take another look while recognizing these racists are becoming an increasing scar on a nation which formerly considered itself a world equality leader and societal beacon. These people now live and thrive and spread in the United States. 

We got through that overt example of white supremacy with even mention the GOP's Steve King. 

Final thought She spoke openly; just think of the scope and breadth of similar mindsets who uck among you. 

Yes, Cramer is the consummate racist.
