Rand Paul Tea Party Leader: Credibility, Ethics and Values, Missing Traits?

Plagiarism in speeches from Wiki and now definitive evidence of plagiarism in his book!  Think the book is a buy for ya?
image via www.ebay.co.uk

Rand Paul apparently suffers from a lack of traits that are second nature for others.  He either does not understand plagiarism or he does not have common decency in avoiding deceit. In either case, each relates to values and ethics. It seems both personal traits are less than evident in Rand Paul.

Recent reports from MSNBC, Politico, and Buzz Feed comprise a collective body of investigative work that without question places Paul in need of a Michael Jackson-like "Man in the Mirror" who exhibits combinations of: deceit, dishonesty, lack of ethics, diminished values, disregard for commonly accepted practices, charlatanism, manipulation for acquisition of your money.

If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place,
Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change
Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change

We realize Paul as a US Senator rode into Washington DC from the "red state" of Kentucky with strong backing from Tea Party constituents. Tea party constituents across the nation have delivered politicians to the core of federal governance who collectively embody the Kochian school of US social thought and paradigm. We cannot think of one tea party politician who exhibits levels of compassion for people comparable to their affinity for anarchistic oratory and associated acts.  It is a sad state, but a reality the most visible of Koch's congressional army also seem to have ingrained level of scruples common to the uber wealthy Kochs.

A list of the most vocal tea party members of congress is as revealing as the morning sunrise Michelle Bachmann, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Louis Gohmert, Alan West, former congressman Joe Walsh, opportunist and Heritage leader Jim Demint, and fake politician carnival barker Sarah Palin to name a few.

We are not positing Rand Paul as a tea party politician embodies a deceitful inner core shared by all tea party members of CongressAlthough most in list (above) without question exhibit shared similarity with the Kentucky Senator. Paul has and exhibits an inner core that we posit is actually based in a lack intellectually supported common sense and an absence of truism. His occasional gonfaloning about being a physician is another area of question.

Paul certainly has attained some level of education that facilitated his claim of education levels with terminal degrees (e.g., PhD, M.D.). But, questions about the quality of his education lingering as annoyingly as removal of wad of bubble-gum on the sole of a shoe. Paul's education and certification as an 'eye' doctor (in Paul's case we refuse to use the word ophthalmologist) is another area of conundrum. While running for Congress in 2010, Paul's education certification became an area of contention.

Fox News Dot Com, of all networks, published about Paul's self-certification of his doctoral background. We offer a comment from Paul's 2010 senatorial opponent's campaign manager.
"It is clear that Rand Paul does not think the rules apply to him," Conway campaign manager Jonathan Drobis said in a statement Monday.
We offer a few excerpts from the Fox News/AP piece:

Rand Paul's Doctor Credentials Questioned for Lacking Top Board's Certification, Published June 14, 2010
Associated Press

Excerpt
Rand Paul, who touts his career as a Kentucky eye doctor as part of his outsider credentials in his campaign for U.S. Senate, isn't certified by his profession's leading group.
He tried Monday to bat away questions about it by calling it an attack on his livelihood, saying the scrutiny stems from his challenge of a powerful medical group over a certification policy he thought was unfair.
The libertarian-leaning Republican helped create a rival certification group more than a decade ago. He said the group has since recertified several hundred ophthalmologists, despite not being recognized the American Board of Medical Specialties -- the governing group for two dozen medical specialty boards.
Questions about Paul's certification as an eye surgeon first arose in a story published Sunday in The Courier-Journal of Louisville.
Paul, who is continuing to practice in Bowling Green during the campaign, chafed Monday at questions about his certification.
"It's a personal assault on my ability to make a living," Paul told The Associated Press in a telephone interview.

The ever-present an quirky Ron Paul commented in defense of his son's veritable self-certification.

Excerpt
By focusing on an internal struggle within his profession, he said, "you vilify me and make it out to sound, 'Oh, ... there's something wrong with him as a physician because he chose not to register" with the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Paul said he helped formed the rival group because the established organization exempted older ophthalmologists from re-certification. He likened it to members of Congress passing laws that don't apply to themselves.

Of course, Rand Paul was empathetic to older ophthalmologists! Should we believe Rand Paul self-certified out of some sort of "Robin Hood" syndrome? As we look back on his certification and compare against current evidence of multiple cases of deficit, we have to question his reason for self-certification. In fact, we question his values as a human being well beyond his veracity and credibility as a politician.

BuzzFeed's piece on Paul's obvious plagiarized entries into his book shows a side of Paul voters must consider. Should a Member of Congress how 'goes here" have the right to sit in the US Senate and draws a $175,000 annual pay check (with free medical care)?   Let's visit BuzzFeed.

Three Pages Of Rand Paul’s Book Were Plagiarized From Think Tanks

The worst case yet. Paul’s office says the book notes Paul didn’t individually report out each case.posted on

GOP Tea Party, Confederate Flag, Cruz and Palin, and Bill Moyer's Nails The Shutdown

Bill Moyers comments on the Government shutdown.

We have embedded a seven minute video of the full Moyer's essay.  Before Moyers are taking an opportunity to keyboard a few words and thoughts about the shutdown.

Our position on the shutdown has been consistent, the shutdown is the (desired) outcome of seditious acts from uber wealthy Americans via the US Congress (specifically the tea party infested House).  Many authors have written about Koch sponsored PACs and possible direct contributions to republican representatives since the election of the nation's 44th president.  Within, weeks of his taking office the nation was exposed to a full fledged obstructionist movement the Koch brothers and Dick Armey referred to as the Tea Party. It took little to no time for Fox News to jump on the Tea Party bandwagon with full promotion and free (newsroom) advertisements of Tea Party rallies.

The Tea Party movement worked according to plan. If the movement 'fathers' could turn significant numbers of voters against the president and the democratic agenda from the president, the nation would effectively move even farther to the right. A nation that is moderately right of Center is a breeding ground for plutocracy and oligarchy on the backs of  LIVs (low information voters) and fertile ground bigots and racists. Big business money flowed, uber wealthy conservatives pooled huge sums of money and funneled contributions to conservative political campaigns, and avowed racist moved their wretched social views across the gullible minds of most who subscribed to the tea party. It does'nt take much for racist to move the mindsets of people who are bigots, and it takes even less effort to influence and soil the minds of the nation's conservatives and their 92% white GOP. The prospect for those who would seek to acquire a grip on our federal government via mind altering social dogma and hatred of a president must consider LIVs a veritable field of dreams. When in US history have you observed so many white older Americans sitting in lawn and folding chairs in protest.

I will ever forget this image.

But, there is one problem.....

No Taxes, No welfare, No Food stamps, No government, No society and I am certain not one plutocrat will assist these people in vital (municipal and social) services. In some cases services may include feeding the elderly and unemployed.  It also means children from poor families have opportunity for two meals while in head start and school programs. It may also mean aid to the disabled.

Other signs and memes come to mind. Over this past weekend a alleged "conservative veterans" group and other tea party LIVs held a protests outside the White House. The event was bill as a Million Man Veterans protest; it drew in the hundreds and was laced with significant levels of racism and sedition. Take a quick look and listen...

Weekend protest video via Progressive Populist Dot Org.
In the video below, as the riot police show up, you can hear shouts of “gestapo”, “brown shirts”, and “stasi” coming from the raucous crowd. And then they laughed at them and chanted, “shame on you!”

Then there was the moment when someone clearly says, “looks like something out of Kenya.”
To see more of the infantile behavior of these Tea Partiers, watch the video below and SHARE, so that every time they want to claim that their protests are always civil and respectful, you can direct them to this video.

How about a Washington Post gallery of protest images.

We ask that you keep in mind, these people are not protesting against cuts to food aid for children. They are not protesting the impact of the shutdown on food inspections. They are also not protesting other dire consequences of the GOP Congressional shutdown of the US government. No, because protest organizers need a place for the important critical visuals associated with the protests. Hence, the appearance of two noted anarchists (Palin and Cruz) at a the World War II Memorial. Cruz has the gall to show his face, when he led the charge towards the shutdown. Palin,,,, well no additional comment.

Let's spend a minute with a protest organizer who is an obvious bigot and we suspect also a racist.

CNN...http://www.cnn.com/video/dat........

Freedom Watch's Larry Klayman makes some provocative comments to a group at the WWII Memorial. Don Lemon has more.

Did you notice the any diversity in the clip beyond one woman?
I suggest the comments from Klayman and the theme of the protest verges on sedition.
Multiple media and many internet based bloggers and internet Op-Ed writers have documented Koch brothers involvement in financial support in opposition to the ACA. History has archived Koch brother support for the tea party back to 2009. Actually, the Kochs have worked to fund anti-democratic  policies from the right since the late 1990s.  It is impossible to believe the Kochs would not find a great deal of satisfaction with the current federal government shutdown. The stumbling GOP as operatives for US plutocrats and the leadership of Ted Cruz started the movement to shut down  the government in early summer. The GOP has used "Shut it down" mantra regarding the Obama Administration as far back as 2010.
Mike Pence: http://youtu.be/qCOxivXKNO0
More Pence with "Shut it down" placards in the audience: http://youtu.be/bRL6qlU3KFM
McConnell, Mike Lee and others ..."Shut it down."
Despite the seditious circus over this past weekend, and the clear fact te GOP (and its money backers) have finally secured the government shutdown they have so long relished high information voters/people know the truth.
We will now turn this piece over to one of the nation's most high information purveyors of information: Bill Moyers.
“When the president refused to buckle to this extortion, they threw their tantrum,” Bill says. “Like the die-hards of the racist South a century and a half ago, who would destroy the union before giving up their slaves, so would these people burn down the place, sink the ship.” He goes on to tell us where the “reckless ambition” of the Republicans could lead us.
http://talkingpointsmemo.com/cafe/let-s-call-the-shutdown-what-it-is-secession-by-another-means
"High Information" only takes an open mind. One does not have to be an intellectual. Of course, one has to be free of bondage of bias, bigotry and racism. Unfortunately, millions have bought into the GOP Southern Paradigm and have become fodder for uber wealth plutocrats.

The Whirling Wind And Party Ideology That Reminds Of 9/11

Re-blog from The Whirlingwind Dot Com......

We have to comment. The images chosen and depicted by Benjamin T. Moore, Jr. have a common thread. With an exception for Mike Lee (of whom I know nothing) the pictured Senators have a past or current background that reaches into Civil Rights. Their reach has been (Sessions) and is (Paula and Cruz) very much anti-Civil rights. Their common bound speaks volumes about their mindsets, their social paradigms and how they legislate. I am stopping just shy of calling each Paul and Cruz are not in the Senate to legislate. ~ The Pardu

Radical Republicans Carry On Osama’s Legacy

radical republicans carry on osamas legacy header Radical Republicans Carry On Osamas Legacy
by Benjamin T. Moore, Jr.
If you believe the official account of the events on September 11, 2001, Osama Bin Laden masterminded a plan to bring this nation to its knees. We lost 2,978 innocent civilians on that day by conservative estimates. Because of this, we launched two wars, one in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. We’ve spent trillions of dollars, ruined our economy and sacrificed 10′s of thousands of the treasure of this nation. Thanks to certain Radical Republicans, it turns out, Osama could have been more effective by simply donating to one of several Republican “Super-PACs.”

Radical Republicans

I am old enough to remember the political parties before the Republicans lost their damn minds. No, I’m not going to play the false equivalence game and pretend to be “fair and balanced” like FAUX News. Sometimes, one of the two sides in a dispute is clearly and unequivocally wrong! I can recall when the Republicansbelieved in fiscal responsibility. Now they merely pay lip service to it. Republicans used to believe in smaller government. Now, they’re fascist.
“Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power.”
Benito Mussolini
They care more about the wishes of the corporations who own them than they do about the actual constituents they purport to represent. The Republicans I remember growing up, tended to be against wars and if anything leaned towardsisolationism.” The radical Republicans of today, haven’t seen a seen a war they’re not in favor of.
The only things they’re not in favor of are the very things that would make this nation stronger, energy independent and would boost the standard of living and quality of life for United States citizens.
Radical Republicans were against bailing out our automotive industry. Think about this for a moment. During WWII, it was our automotive industry that tooled up to produce tanks, firearms and many of the necessities that made it possible for us to prevail. Were it not for the manufacturing base provided by our automotive industries, we all might well be speaking German today. That is, those of us left alive to live under a totalitarian dictatorship.
radical republicans detroit Radical Republicans Carry On Osamas Legacy
Not the Detroit I remember.
Even if we ignore the national security implications, think of all the jobs that would have been lost. Not just the direct jobs lost because of factory closings, but all the additional downstream jobs in the companies that produce the products the automotive industries require. Think of the small businesses that depend on the people in communities who are employed by the automotive industry. Mitt Romney’s Op-Ed entitled, “Let Detroit Go Bankrupt,” should be instructional. Detroit has indeed gone bankrupt. Look at Detroit. It is rapidly spiralling down into a “3rd World” experience. This began when the automotive industries began pulling out and relocating. Trouble is, many of these manufacturing plants are now in communities all around the nation. Possibly there are a few employing people in your community. Had we taken the advice of the radical Republicans, you might have been surprised to find your own community looking like Detroit.

Radical Republicans Or Closet Terrorists?

radical republicans pearl harbor attack Radical Republicans Carry On Osamas LegacyWhat if a foreign power attacked the United States and killed 45,000 of our citizens? Men, women and children? I want you to actually consider this for a moment. What would you think ought to be done? When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 killing 2,402 of our sailors and wounding 1,247, we dove into WWII which resulted in nuclear weapons being used for the first – and hopefully the last – time in recorded history. When we were attacked on September 11, 2001, we counted 2,978 fatalities. We went to war with two nations – one of which had absolutely nothing to do with the attack – and spent trillions of dollars.
Yet, each year, 45,000 of our brother and sister American citizens die because they have no health insurance. That’s over 15 times the number of people we lost in the September 11 attacks… each year! Do you think we ought to do something about it? How can anyone claim to be a patriot and profess a love for this nation, be against a law that will potentially save 45,000 American lives? Radical Republicans are.
Radical Republicans make Osama Bin Laden look like a piker! He only murdered 2,978 of our citizens. The policy the Radical Republicans are doggedly pursuing will murder 45,000 of our citizens each year. We sent Seal Team 6 to get Osama. Who are we sending after these terrorists?

Backstabbing Our Troops The Radical Republican Forte`

radical republicans wounded veterans Radical Republicans Carry On Osamas Legacy
What about them? Can they stand a Government shut down?
If you’re old enough, you will remember when the Republican Party didn’t merely pay lip service to being pro-military. They actually respected and honored those who had served out country in uniform. Being a veteran put you at the head of the line for a job when you returned to civilian life. During the Vietnam war when there was a draft, many times employers would hold your job for you upon your return. Not so now. The families of many active duty soldiers depend on “food stamps” to feed their families during their loved one’s absence.
Radical Republicans in their zeal to stomp on minorities and people of color, are doing all they can to defund and under fund our food stamp safety net. Because of their policies, according to the Department of Defense, some 5,000 families of active duty servicemen will have their food stamps cut. Imagine what that does to the man or woman fighting in the field. How can he or she concentrate on their job while worrying about whether or not their children are going to bed hungry.
While we’re on the subject of hunger in America, 52.32 million people – 1 in 6 – many of them children, are struggling with hunger right here in this country which likes to boast of its “exceptionalism.” When Russian President, Vladimir Putin said that America was not exceptional, many of these same Radical Republicans took offense. Well damnit! The truth hurts doesn’t it?  How the Hell are we exceptional when 52.32 million of our citizens are going to bed hungry just like people in 3rd World Nations?
radical republicans bridge collapse minneapolis Radical Republicans Carry On Osamas Legacy
The entire span of the Interstate 35W bridge collapsed in Minneapolis.
Our infrastructure is collapsing around our ears. We’ve got bridges all across this nation that have been marked as unsafe and closed. Some have even fallen down costing lives. We’ve got thousands of veterans, both men and women returning from war in need of jobs. Meanwhile, the House of Representatives under the leadership(?) of John Boehner have refused to pass a single jobs bill. They’ve refused to pass a single bill that would help our returning troops. Oh, by the way, they have voted to repeal Obama Care 41 times. They have caused the United States credit rating to be downgraded. At the time of my writing this, we’re headed for another Government shut down. Did I mention we have troops who are currently fighting a war? Might be nice if we paid them.
Who needs terrorist when you’ve got Radical Republicans doing everything in their power to destroy America. I’m sure Osama Bin Laden is spinning at the bottom of the sea saying, “Damn! If I’d only known!”
